I have the 1500lfp and want to get the ep3000. I would mostly use it as a full system but i am thinking there may be times i would like to split them up. Have you tried using a small pure sine wave inverter connected to the DC xt60 output on the ep3000? Wondering if it could also be used to power small (less than 360w) AC loads with that setup.
I wanted to say that I'm really impressed with the E1500LFP. I've purchased two of them. One is serving as a UPS for my entire home office and gives me about 8 hours of UPS on a charge. That's just crazy when you stop and really think about it. The other unfortunately arrived with a faulty AC inverter. Things like that happen. I contacted Pecron support and sent them a video demonstrating the issue. They agreed to replace the unit. I'm still waiting for the replacement to ship a week after they received the return. We'll see how long that takes.
@@RamblinBobReviews It did take a couple of weeks for them to ship the return after receiving the original unit back, but the replacement will arrive on Tuesday. No complaint on them taking a little time to inspect the returned unit. My only complaint was lack of communication. I was not able to get a tracking number or even a shipping notification until 4 or 5 days after the replacement shipped. If they can tighten up their communications, that would go a long way towards improving their customer service experience.
Yes, the communication was one of the hardest things to deal with pecron. (language barrier for sure)) but it is getting better all the time. P.S. Most of these companies have that problem. Simple way to solve that, have 1 person in charge of each country that you ship to that can 100% speak that language...problem solved :)
I have 4 vevor 200w portable panels in series and I get max input on sunny days. 700 watts out of a 800w solar array is Insanely good. I also hope they add a feature to turn off the screen when it’s running so it can save battery
I just have to say that I love the Vevor panels. I've got two of them as well and couldn't be happier. I also have nothing but good things to say about their support. They really came through for me on another product that I purchased from them (evaporative cooler). As for the panels, I get similar performance to what you have seen. Consistently 175 or so at the high end. I can't really ask for more from a 200w panel.
The e3600 is compatible with the ep3000 batteries and you can hook up to 4 of them to get a total of 15kwh and will be a 240v system to potentially power a whole house. Can’t wait till it comes out. My goal is to go full solar. I’m just hoping it has a beast Inverter to be able to power multiples 240v appliances if needed.
@@devinmadison8312 In the video of the guy at CES opening the large, covered outlet on the E3600, it shows the 120V/30A RV/trailer connector, not an L14-30 240VAC connector. Sad. Probably no 240V output
Hey bob i thinking about getting the e1500 for 599.00 plus one battery for 1453.00 with your discount code thats a great price for that much power over 4k. I though about ordering the 3600 but this 1500 combo is cheaper and more power! I cant afford the 3600 and a extra battery at this time.
That would be 4,992wh with the e1500lfp with one battery :) You can always use the same batteries (ep3000 48v) for the e3600lfp later if you still want to upgrade, and use the e1500lfp for a portable system :) P.S. Yep, They are 10 foot 15 amp cables to the fridge and freezer :) P.S. It has been like that for 1 year on the e2000lfp and 1 month+ for the e1500lfp P.P.S. The fridge only draws about 65 watts, freezer draws only 60 watts :)
Looks like Pecron has recently updated the warranty on the e1500lfp to 5 years if you register it (2+3). It was 1+1 when i bought it a couple weeks ago. I'm loving this unit even more. Is the e3600 ever coming out? 😊
Question: Does the e1500lfp (or any Pecron) have the ability to autonomously start the AC inverter after full discharge when PV input resumes? i.e. off grid connected to PV panels > A/C load drains unit overnight > D/C solar begins to recharge next day > A/C inverter resumes power to loads with no human intervention?
Nope, That is something that they keep "YOU" doing because if the machine were to just start back up, the company would be liable for any damage for a fire or if something goes wrong....you know, safety check and all that. note: They always want a human to push that button to take away the blame ;) systems bring in solar all by themselves with human intervention, but the rarely turn themselves back on from what we have seen. The large systems (grid tie style) might be different, not 100% sure.
Hey Bob, would it be better to purchase this unit from Pecron or thru Amazon. I have never had any problems with Amazon, but have never bought anything directly from these foreign companies. Best regards!
That is a tough choice, amazon has given us some problems in the last year, so we are kinda unfairly leaning towards the companies directly. but to each their own. P.S. Just save all you conversations and emails and EVERYTHING no matter what way you choice to buy something so you always have a backup plan :) P.P.S. Hello Bob-Thinking of buying EP3000 because of great sale. I have a question. Can you charge the EP3000 via A/C wall outlet ? If so- what charger will work ? Also why does it not come with a wall Charger ? Hope all is well
The battery was meant to charge from the car power or solar power :) P.S. You can use any of the 5 pin chargers that come with the e600lfp, e1500lfp, e2000lfp... WORKS GREAT :)

Bob what happens between your 1500 and 2000 that does not have firmware updates, for that matter other power stations that also does not have updates ?
the e2000lfp works just fine, but i do understand why you would want the e1500lfp (firmware updates are a good thing to have) note: once a systems bugs have been worked out, they is no need for firmware updates.
I'm having a problem with the app refreshing on my E1500LFP with 1 expansion battery. It displays the same battery level % constantly. If I'm at home on my own WIFI, sometimes it'll refresh after about 20 seconds. Sometimes it wont refresh at all. Also, i cant control the inputs and outputs through the app whenever its not refreshing. All i can do through the app is unbind it. If I'm away from home on 4g, forget it. It never refreshes. So far ive tried Unbinding the E1500LFP Resetting the WIFI Deleting the app cache and data Uninstall & reinstalling the app Insuring my router is set to 2.4 GHZ The only thing i know left to do before contacting Pecron is to do a hard reset on the power station but i don't know how to do that. Is there a way to do a full reset? I am on update 1.6 btw.
Pecron needs more work on the app, we have mentioned this before on some videos :( we have asked pecron to update the app few times, that is why they are on version 1.6 but they need more updates for sure for some phones.
@RamblinBobReviews I just got home from work. My phone connected to my home WIFI. I clicked the Pecron app and it instantly refreshed showing the accurate values of the power station. I disconnected the WIFI and went back to 4G and it's staying refreshed in real time. I'm standing here staring at it and my phone lol. We'll see how the app behaves while I'm gone to work tomorrow.
I didn't realize using Wifi uses that much power. I'll have to reconsider. I travel a lot so I do like being able to control certain functions remotely. The App is still bad. I'm on the most recent version and lately I'm having to unbind every few days because it stops showing real time data. When I unbind and add back it works fine for a few days. As far as the overall system it's a good system and I'm going to add another Ep3000 in the near future.
We have not had any problems with the app since version 1.5 and up. note: The hardest thing about apps is the models of phone people have..we have a samsung galaxy S23 ultra
I have not noticed a drop in battery with wifi left on. I recently turned off the unit before I went to bed (AC and DC both OFF) and it was at 1% battery. I kept the wifi on like I always do and it was still at 1% the next morning with no wifi drop. I'm not seeing much if any battery drain from just wifi.
The wifi does not need to transmit any data if the AC or DC if off (because the system is off) therefor the wifi goes into a background (off) state. P.S. Plus, you ever want to run any system down to 1% (unless you are testing it) not good for the battery cells :( note: let the system AC or DC inverter stay on for 24 and measure the power use with and without the wifi and you will see the difference since the wifi has a job to do then (report data)
