Nope, 100% of the energy is going through the main 2 x XT-60 ports on the e3600lfp for all of these tests.

I agree. To be able to reset that shunt and power meter. We will try to drop the system to "0" once again and see if this works. It did not work the first time we tried it.

Not much info yet, but they just had that big CES thing, and they are just getting back now. (people that we deal with at pecron) Engineer said that they are trying to copy my results right now on there systems.

Different voltages for one..... Also, It throws off the time remaining clock on the screen, and also wears out the batteries faster on some rather than the others ;) Now, if this is just a reporting error, and the batteries are really the same power, The system thinks that there is more power left than there really is. (throw off that remaining clock) Think of it this way, if you lift weights and your left and right arms... And the left arm uses more energy than the right arm....the left arm wears out much faster than the right arm, right?

Checked all 5 batteries. Same voltage in all 5. It is just that darn meter gets all weird with that last batery and "THINKS" it is higher than it really is, this would throw off that remaining clock time, right? Percon made a big mistake by leaving those cascading ports "LIVE" on all there products. kinda dangerous, but great for modding ideas I guess...LOL There really should be a power cut off or disconnect when not using those ports for safety. So you can just stick in multi-meter in there and see the voltage of each battery in real time. we did this a few times on video a few updates back :)

Using light draw all night long (100-300 watts) (same result) 6. Using heavier draw all night long (600-1,000 watts) (same result) 7. Using a heavy draw all night long (1,500 watts and up) (same result) (This last one keeps the percentage a bit closer "5%-10% off")

Yep, But they are not really at different voltages, the system just "THINKS" they are with that 4th battery... We tested all the batteries many times during the cycle with a multi-meter and they are all the same voltage. So we do not have to worry about the cells being worn out early on certain batteries before others. We need the time remaining clock to to 100% accurate for our security system. This is no joke.... We can do a draw on the system apx 150-300 watts all night long with 3 batteries and no problems at all. (Percentages on the screen are very close if not the same all night long) But, as soon as add that last battery to the system, that battery starts reporting goofy numbers as you can see in these videos.

When you mix different voltages together, they flow heavier energy to the lowest point and sometimes this could put strain on the connections and cells to do this, right? And would this go against your warranty if they knew that you did this, since they told people a thousand times to always have the batteries within that 10% when you hook them up?

I agree, we are the Guinea pigs....No worries, we are all trying to understand how this works together as a team. When we draw 100-200 watts all night long with only 3 batteries (12,000wh) on the system, it works perfect. batteries always stayed in sync with each other. It is only when you add that 4th battery do we get this weird result, People with much bigger channels than what we have, are saying that it might be a reporting or programming error and in need of a firmware update. And pecron has never had a single update for the e1500lfp or e3600lfp that we know of. We trust their knowledge because they have been doing solar power for a very long time compared to us. Their channels are really big. And we helped pecron beta test their app v1.2 & v1.4 & v1.5 & v1.7 *They stopped updating their app when we stop beta testing it for them :( Plus, These Eb3000 & EP3000 can be charged with a simple solar panel or your car. That is why they all come with the MC4 adapters, car adapters, etc. So even new people could simply charge them that way if they needed to or had to. Most people are buying solar panels along with their orders or already had panels to do that with. At least that is what the scribers are telling us on this channel that have bought systems. P.S. For $5,500 bucks, this system should work perfect, this is not pocket change for many people....That is a lot of money for many people.

We tried that as well :( Took the whole system apart charged each piece to 100% and then put them back together. System reporting works perfect with 3 batteries, just gets weird with that 4th battery (and this is the second 4th battery)

Wish I could help but I only have one EP 3000. Just got it set up and balance charged today. Works perfectly. Very happy with it.

All the cell voltages of all the batteries are very close. 2 brand new batteries and 2 older batteries That means the battery power is not the problem. It must be a reporting problem. And that 4th battery is up to 40% off sometimes, and that throws off the time remaining clock on the screen. We need that time to be 100% correct. Our security system is hooked to this power station.

I'll bet....Either way, This guy shattered (spider cracks) the top of this solar panel and we had to send it back for replacement..... If they can't do your job correctly, maybe you should not have that job ;)

That volt-meter is a handy tool and a must have for solar power :) P.S. Really disliked when some companies wire their panels backwards :(

@@RamblinBobReviews Actually were 2 Goal Zero Boulder 30's with 8mm connectors. Bought an 8mm to mc4 connector from Goal Zero. Where the problem is is the 8mm connection. Lots of problems solved by 10pm tonight when a 200w Renogy arrives, with the built-in mc4 cables. Will charge the Solix C1000, but have to limit the current at or below 10 amps, or connect 2 200w panels in series.

We really liked what we heard of ecoflow, but they were so pricey for us at the time. and we have 5 bluetti systems. I really wanted to but the ac500 and all the batteries, but it was like 15,000-20,000 at the time. So we found pecron.... The host is always a little different from the batteries, but the batteries were always close to each other from what we have seen. I Really like that e3600lfp. And the e1500lfp. But that system only had 1 solar input and only 2 batteries. Would love to move to a huge server rack system that could power dump into the e3600lfp (like a huge gas tank)

@@RamblinBobReviews I also have the 1500 LFP. I bought the 3600 LFP and paired with one EP3000. The EP3000 has had charging issues and was repaired. As of 5 minutes ago the Host is at 37% and the EP3000 at 59%, that just doesn't seem right to me. I am not sending back the Ep3000 again. I will keep the Pecrons to run certain things but going forward I'm changing system. Thanks for all of your updates and ifno.

Yep, That seems weird..... Remember they said to have them within that 10% max difference when hooking them together when we all first got them. So you would think that they should always still be within that 10% difference no matter what at the most. Our e3600lfp is 10% off at the very most during a charging cycle, and 3%-7% off most of the time for discharging for all the batteries of what we have noticed. And sometimes the batteries agree all the same percentage.

We have to send the other battery back, hopefully pecron will let us know what happened to it. (if it was the battery and not the main system or something) The app icon is nowhere on the phone...lol (Never seen that before...) Going to install it yet again to see what the deal is with that. P.S. First charge cycle is done and it looked good so far. Only time will tell if the system is 100% or not...FINGERS CROSSED !!!!! P.P.S. As I said many times, We really like this system and it is great for what we needed until that battery reporting starting acting weird.

Yes, Tried changing the numbers, and also swapped all of the cables with zero effect :( This was the first thing that popped into my head also because it is much cheaper to change a wire rather than a 65 pound battery.....LOL P.S. Thank you very much for the great idea, great minds think alike :)

Found out that it must be the chip inside, we tried everything it seems. pecron's new battery just arrived today and we will be swapping that 4th battery out tonight. P.S. If the new battery works perfect, then we know 100% that it was the battery chip and not the e3600lfp, cables, number, etc, etc.... P.S. Thank you very much for the comment :)

Thank you for being part of our scriber family :) Well, propane is getting pretty pricey and the sun is always free when it's out and after you buy the equipment to harness it. But here is where I still have an issue with electric heating with these power stations. Electric heat is SUPER heavy on the power draw !!!!! A small 1,000 watt heater would use 24,000wh a day, and one is not enough to heat an entire house. I would look into split phase unit with heating and cooling. I guess these systems can be hooked up to solar panels and run much more efficient on that power draw. People on youtube have been talking them up for a while now on how well they work. Just my 2 cents :)

What kind of power draw does that heat pump use? We never have one. Ours is forced air....

Hi Ramblin Bob. Thanks for your quick reply. I looked up my daily total home power usage thru the year and it ranged from 15kW to 96kW. The 96kW was a day when avg temp was abnormally low at 20 deg F. There was an snow/ice week were avg daily power for 4 days was 70kw/day. During hot summer days I had daily usage of around 50kW. For my home usage it appears the extreme cold uses more power than extreme hot days.

I'm just worried that if I lose grid power during a 20 deg avg week if the Pecron 30kW system with solar panels will be able to provide enough power. How many watts of panels would you recommend during a power outage in 20 deg weather which usually has overcast skies?
