Watts and amps is nothing to worry about because the system stops any power over what it can not handle from coming in. We love over paneling systems !!!!! HOWEVER, you can NEVER go over the VOC (voltage open circuit) of any system, EVER !!!!! Right now, we have 1,600 watts of panels going into the 1,200 watt max ports of the e3600lfp :) and the e3600lfp cuts off the power coming in at 1,200 watts :) Now, being that I said that, the e2000lfp sometimes had some some trouble bringing inything over 80v (at least ours did, until we upgraded the cheap MPPT boards inside) <----- gen 1 model only !!!!! So if you have the first generation of the e2000lfp, you might run into the mppt's locking up and shutting down for safety. Go back and watch the "PECRON PV300" videos that we did and you will see what I am talking about.... In short, it did not break the MPPT controller going over 80v, It put them in a state of protection and then they would turn back on when you went under that 80v. And then when you went over 80v again, it would go into protection again and you would generate zero power coming in :(

When you turn on the AC inverter, it's makes a clicking noise.... That is normal :)

Make sure that you start with the number "0" because the touch screen and the app only start with that number ;) P.P.S. A full system will have 0,1,2,3 !!!!!

That is a good question. You could use 2 x 1500lfp in separate rooms if you ever needed. Or 1 big e3600lfp to run everything. But, You can just never hook the 2 x e1500lfp's together, you would have 2 separate 2,200 watt systems.

When there is no draw or charging on the system, it shuts down to save battery :)

@ ​​⁠ I wish I could’ve justified the extra 600 bucks for the 3600 and EP 3000 battery. The e 2400 w ep3000 will be my first system, so I wanted to not go all in off the bat Also, my wife and I are only home five times a year so I will never even see it. Hopefully Perron proves to be reliable unattended and keeps our fridge running. I’m looking at adding two 400 W panels with a solar tracking system type of mount. Have you guys looked into solar tracking for your panel mounts?

You can also upgrade later and use the same batteries on the e3600lfp if you wanted to and use that e2400lfp for a mobile system ;) We did this with the e1500lfp :) P.S. Solar tracker are nice, but we just do not want to use up that much space for one. They need a pretty big footprint because they spin around in circles some mornings to find the sun.

We really hope that you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed ours :) P.S. And yes, Pecron should have a clear difference in graphics or something to let people know they are different. I am sure that some people are ordering the wrong ones from time to time :( (That is why we named them EricBob3000 & EricPaul3000 for the scribers....LOL) P.P.S. Good to know! Wish we had a place to plug that cord in here.... We tried it once with the oupes mega 2 power station because it has that nena-ttp plug on it. and it overloaded that power station in seconds....LOL P.S. That cable is hungry for power !!!!!

They should be able to fix that easy. you had to sign for yours right? we did. So you should have your replacement pretty soon, I think. Ours has been working 24-7 so far since the day we got it with no problems.

Me too. My fault for not waiting until black friday but I ordered when I did because I was afraid the price would go UP (from $1599) and to get the free 30A charging cord. Now they're In stock (no preorder) for much less money and the 30A cord is STILL included. Bummer. Oh well. That's life. I just got mine delivered a couple days ago. (Have not had a chance to open it yet) I waited at home all day because I knew I had to sign for it but in the end, it was dropped off at my door- no signature. What? How does FedEx get away with that when signature is required? Anyway, sorry to hear you have issues and I hope it all works out. Worse case, you can file a complaint with your cc company.

As long as you charge through the e2000lfp 5 pin ports or barrel port the percentage meter works great..... P.S. Any power that you add through the eb3000 batteries will go into the system, but you have to fill it 100% (and keep charging for extra time) for the power meter to correct itself. (We do this all the time when we charge thru the batteries also on ours)

Look likes a decent power station so far :)

A fridge uses a lot more power than people think. 50-150 watts for the average fridge is apx 1,200-3600 watts a day. So that means that you need 600 - 1,800 watts a day apx. *totals are cut in half because a fridge does not run all the time, it cycles. NOTE: The heated battery for cold temps idea is a nice feature on the e1000lfp, but the expansion batteries do not have heaters in them, so do not let that be the deciding factor if you plan on expanding. P.S. If it were me making the choice, I would grab the e2400lfp only because 1,000wh is not much power and if you really decide in upgrading, you can add that 2nd battery to that one. but hat is just my opinion because everybody upgrades.

I ordered the ef1000 and ep3000 battery combo a few days ago I really liked the size factor of the 1000 just in case it needed to be moved by my father -in- law but chances are the units will never move. They will be stored in an insulated garage in southern Louisiana so most likely will never see temps below 30 degrees at the extremes My wife and I are team truck drivers. She loves to meal prep and cook with what little time we have when we are home. My father in law loves his daughter and is constantly worried about the fridge as temporary power interruptions are common in New Orleans. I got him a 2200 watt gasoline generator but its a pain to deal with for 3-6 hour power outages. I think I will see if they will swap my order over to the 2400lfp from the 1000lfp. Those rubber covered ports would have been nice tho Thanks for the help!

We do agree with external battery power as a source as a good idea. however....something that you forgot is.... 1. The ep3000 battery is used for all the new power stations, so it will always be useful when you just buy a updated system. (works on e1000lfp, 1500lfp, 2400lfp, e3600lfp, etc) we can hot swap our batteries to any of these power stations and keep the party going at anytime. 2. Th eb3000 & ep3000 batteries are stand alone system in itself, you can use them as a power station without a head unit ;) They have many outputs on the battery itself, and oyu can add a small ac inverter through the cig port. NOTE: So they will never become "USELESS" since they can be used by themselves as a power station ;) P.S. We would love to have a huge 100,000wh server rack system and use the idea of the 500 watt car charger to power dump :)

@@RamblinBobReviews Yeah, useless might be too strong of word. I actually have the 1500lfp coming, but at about a 1000 bucks for an add on battery that only works with pecron power stations...nope! For a few hundred less, I can do 4 12.8 volt 100ah batteries wired in series and have over 5000wh external batteries. That will also be versatile and work with my Bluetti, AllPowers, and earlier versions of Pecrons I already have. Considering the fact the external batteries do not have inverters built in, IMHO they are over priced. That is true with all brands that are considered expandable.

@@sarge1231 They do have a DC inverter built in, but not AC inverter. Pecron has the lowest prices per watt hour for any company out there right now for portable power station battery expansions. And at $899 for 3,072wh is only 29 cents per watt hour (and at 85-93% efficient battery capacity is what we are getting with these depending on the load or system) As I said, external batteries are a great idea, and agree with you 100%. But you should really look into server rack system to do this. -----> waaaaay better option !!!!! Apx $900 for 5,120wh @ 48v rack battery (18 cents per watt hour) right now and only going lower.... <-----All in 1 battery :) They have 6,000 cycles to 80% capacity, and way better battery cells in those, much safer builds, future proof, universal, etc, etc, etc.... You can also build them to like 100,000wh banks or larger. (piece by piece over time) *Watch DIY with Will's channel to see what I mean. This is where we are headed next :) Not to mention, Stand alone batteries have no gauges, shut off switches, cables, shunts, can't build to 100,000wh. So you would have to buy all of those extra things to charge and to be safe for additional price. *some do have bluettoth inside but they are expensive still and they do not work together, you need 4 bluetooth connections for 4 batteries 100% not recommending 12v batteries or even 24v batteries for this....48v battery is the only way to go if you do this. (then you could power dump straight into a system at 48v with just cable and a inline fuse through the solar input with lowest conversion loss) Jasonoid did this on his channel..... HUGE NOTE: Pecron expansion batteries eb3000 & ep3000 main ports are "WIDE OPEN" to be able to mod stuff ;) *Not many people know this yet, you can use them without the main systems on any other power station to power dumps. All you have to do is use a multi-meter to check this, it is awesome. P.S. SHHHHHHH !!!!! (If too many people find out about this, they will close those ports for safety ;)

The e1500lfp runs much better with the batteries hooked to it because you will have more battery the AC inverter, and we like that on ours (less strain on the battery cells when there are more) We would highly recommend the Ep3000 (48v) battery !!!!! Because with that 48v battery, you could use it on all their other future power stations ;) e3600lfp, e2400lfp, e1500lfp, e100lfp, etc, etc.... <-----See the pattern there ;) *all are 48v systems for the ep3000 battery P.S. There is only 1 system that you could use the EB3000 battery on, and that is the e2000lfp.
