The guy in the passenger seat was trying not to laugh if you watch that part. They kept the scene for the movie. I seen this movie when I was a kid. I couldn’t stop laughing in the film. It is just as good as the first. My favorite Jim Carrry film is The Majestic. It is more of a drama movie rather than a comedy. Such an amazing cast too
The Majestic was a flop unfortunately though. It was one of his weakest movies… me personally, it was a great plot and story but the movie was just boring as hell honestly
Jim Carrey didn't care too much about this movie but he had to do it because of contract. He normaly didn't like to do sequels at the time, until years later he was in Dumb & Dumber 2. A hymen may not actually be a guarantor of virginity, but plenty of people in modern times and throughout history fervently believe it is. They could also be saying that her knowing what sex was at all was proof.
Contrary to V's assertion, telling if a girl is a virgin is most certainly "a thing". There are some exceptions. Yes, there are indeed SOME exceptions. But this modern idea where one or two exceptions invalidate the rule is too much. The vast majority of virgins will pass the test. It is "a thing". For women who deny this, it's less them highlighting the exceptions and more them admitting they aren't virgins and don't want that to be your business.

Yes, hymens are real. They vary considerably, can be damaged by lots of things, and also can remain undamaged despite having sexual intercourse. No reputable medical body considers virginity testing valid. It's unclear what exactly the woman in the video means. She's being somewhat non-specific.

You told a story at the beginning of the video now I want to tell a story. I was actually watching the first Ace Ventura on TV. I started wondering if any of my favorite review channels ever watched the Ace Ventura movies. As I was getting onto UA-cam I was thinking how I would prefer to watch When Nature Calls since it's my favorite of the two. And lo and behold the very first video was this one.
I grew up with the Ace Ventura movies too. Yea, the opening scene was traumatizing. Even when I was young I knew it was a parody of Cliffhanger since my dad was a big Stallone fan in the 90’s
I love both Ace Ventura movies equally, however if I had to choose which one I like better it would be the first one. Because the first Ace Ventura movie was what introduced me to Jim Carrey and what made him a huge star… so the first Ace Ventura movie will always be superior to all other Jim Carrey movies… not because it was better but because it was what made him

"You can't tell. How could you tell that? It's not a thing... They try to say that there's a thing inside, but that's not a real thing..." It actually is a real thing! It's called the hymen and can generally indicate a woman's virginity if she's young enough, though it might get broken without sex as the woman gets older. In a tribal society though, a broken hymen would generally indicate a woman who is not a virgin! Your lesson on human anatomy is over, hope you enjoyed it!
It's unclear what she's talking about. Hymens are a thing. Virginity testing is a thing. It's validity is not supported by any reputable healthcare organization though. It's fairly well known hymens can be broken by other activity, however, hymens are also highly variable to begin with, and may simply not be damaged by sexual intercourse anyway. So it's both that a broken hymen does not prove a woman isn't a virgin and an unbroken one doesn't prove she is, and to what extent it's even there varies tremendously.

"What is that?"....I feel old now
I freaking love when he's "bouncing" around in the jeep and then it pans out to reveal that they're on a paved modern road and he's just bouncing around inside the cab like a hyperactive child for some reason, LOL!
Bruce Spence(Gahjii) is also in "The Road Warrior( Mad Max 2)", and "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome."
I never put any stock in what critics say, they never know what they're talking about.
Jim Carrey is my idol... He is why I am not afraid to be myself...
Jim is so hilarious. I was a freshman in high school when this came out. This was over the top but that Jim's humor for you. Aaaaaaaaarighty thennnn! This gave me Cliffhanger vibes lol. The Rhino scene is awesome.
One of my FAVORITE movies as a kid. This was in my top 5 at 7 years old. 😂
Ok so so here's a funny fact, there's that scene where Ace says "Shawshank Redemption" when he's trying to mess with the natives, well Quinn, the guy with the parrot is played by the same actor who plays the prison warden in Shawshank Redemption (although i'm not sure if you've seen that movie yet, but if you haven't, see it! It's good! )
you should watch : The Mask. that is truly a masterpiece
Fun Fact: the guy that Ace fights in the Circle of Death, was played by Tommy Davidson. They both got their start on the 90's comedy sketch show, In Living Color, I soooo miss that show. And they are still good friends to this day, on Tommy's IG, he post a pic of him and Jim hanging out
Jim Carry has been my favorite actor since In Living Color. His best performances are
#1 Man on the Moon
#2 Lemony Snickets and a Series of Unfortunate Events
#3 Kickass 2.
I love your reaction to this so much. Also, not knowing what a car cigarette lighter makes me feel real old lol.
13:56 This is one of the rare scenes that had me laughing and gagging at the same time (which I didn't know was possible before that)
Another great Jim Carrey movie to watch (if you haven't seen it yet) is The Mask. I believe it is Cameron Diaz's first movie. Hope you react to it!
Cheers!
Yes, she still needs to watch the Mask… like you said and Dumb & Dumber and Me Myself & Irene
Sophie Okonedo, the princess, is a tremendous actress! I've loved everything I've seen her in.
The warden of Shawshank Redemption shows up as the villain again.
7:31 Went on a tour in Rivera Maya a few years ago. Our bus driver was bobbing his head the same way. It was hilarious!
Tommy Davidson who was also in In Living Color with Jim Carrey plays “the crazy little one”
The scene where he wrestled with the dead croc was so funny!!!
fun flick, the rhino scene kills me every time! Great reaction V. Happy New Year!
At 32:15, have you never seen a cigarette lighter in a car before?
I got to enjoy this more cuz of your reaction. I love these 2 movies.
My favorite line is with the monster truck: "aww he wants to go off road." Lol. I just find it so funny.
That scene where he puts all the clues together is very similar to the final court scene he has in Liar Liar to win the case.
There’s an outtake after Ace says “Do you have a dollar?” Which makes it even funnier.
Ace: “Procreate Mama! Procreate! Shake that tabernacle baby.”
6:08
I love the look on her face when she sees it’s the entire stairway.
The chitty chitty bang bang song wasn't scripted and you can tell because the other guy in the jeep cracks
Finn when Ace said “Shawshank Redemption” while the Chief & his son were kneeling - the guy who Ace tied up also played the Warden in that movie
34:08 Do you not know what a hymen is? Granted some girls lose it in non-sexual conditions but generally speaking, it’s a fairly reliable indicator.
No reputable healthcare organization supports the validity of virginity testing.
So, no. Women's hymens vary to begin with, can get damaged by many things, and may remain undamaged despite them having vaginal sex.
V sees cig lighter, thinks flamethrower 😂😂😂😂
"How would that even work?" ...you shouldn't ask questions you don't want to know the answers to lol
I had this movie on VHS as a young teenager and watched it quite a bit, lol.
Because the first Ace Ventura movie was what introduced me to Jim Carrey and what made him a huge star… so the first Ace Ventura movie will always be superior to all other Jim Carrey movies… not because it was better but because it was what made him
(Comedy and Action) Movies to watch: The Ringer, Date Night , Jo Koy Don't Make Him Angry Netflix , Fired up , Benchwarmers , Cellular , Fluffy's Magic Mike Story , Stadium Fluffy Netflix , Hot Fuzz , Transporter 1-2-3 , Strays , Knight and Day
V, you’re laugh and expressions are very contagious
I remember when I was I think in Middle School I think, I had to move and one night when I was texting with some "friends" in my room, they told me a yoing boy I once had a huge crush on. and who first returned my affections.. ..broke up with me and fell in love, with someone else...I was so upset that I ran downstairs, told my parents with my cellphone in hand, and cried my heart out. Miraculously, this EXACT movie just happened to be playing at the very beginning, and that made me feel instantly better! That was my first break-up...💔
Watched this as a kid and I had a racoon plush that I brought to watch it with me. Memory is hazy since it was a way back, but I'm pretty sure I left the room in tears and needed my parents to come tell me that movies aren't real.
I'm seeing Jim Carrey as comedian like he's hilarious dude! Such a character for real! "Like a Glove!"
It's because he's Canadian. Canadian comedic actors are the best.
@@gastronomist oh for real?
@@Noah_playzFN For real. Two of the four Ghostbusters were Canadian.
@@gastronomist ok who were the two?
@@Noah_playzFN Dan Aykroyd is. I was thinking Harold Ramis, but I was wrong. He just worked in Canada. But Rick Moranis was also Canadian and he was sort of an honourable ghostbuster in GB2.
"You can't tell. How could you tell that? It's not a thing... They try to say that there's a thing inside, but that's not a real thing..."
It actually is a real thing!
I couldn't tell you how many times I've seen this movie and quote it nearly daily. Idk how many one liners are in this movie but almost the entire script is used in my daily vocabulary lmao. One of my favorite comedies ever.
I actually have a poster of him hanging halfway out the butt of the rhino and the sky is Starry Night. It's great.
And yeah, the cigarette lighter part hurt my soul at 33 years old 😞
You should definitely watch Cliffhanger at some point. It's a good movie, mostly due to John Lithgow who is amazing in everything he does. And of course it has the scene which the racoon scene here spoofs
This was right after he played Riddler in a Batman movie, so I was expecting Ace to make a fourth-wall comment about it when he was saying how much her hates bats. :D
It's called Poppin the Cherry!
This movie is in my top 10 movies glad you watched it again ❤
I loved your reaction to this like always but how can an adult woman be claiming the hymen isn't a real thing lol
"This is the role that got Jim Carrey so popular" while true, he was somewhat well known before this for being on the comedy show "In Living Color", and he had some bit parts in movies like "Earth Girls are Easy" in the late 80's.
