    When Jim Carey sings Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song while driving. He forgot his lines and starts singing it. They kept filming the scene. The guy in the passenger seat was trying not to laugh if you watch that part. They kept the scene for the movie. I seen this movie when I was a kid. I couldn’t stop laughing in the film. Jim Carrey didn't care too much about this movie but he had to do it because of contract.
    He normaly didn't like to do sequels at the time, until years later he was in Dumb & Dumber 2.
    Jim especially didn't like the part of Ace having fear of bats cause he thought it was out of character & suggested that Ace should have an allergy to bats instead.
    That would honestly have made more sense.

    32:17 - "What is that?" - It's a cigarette lighter. Once upon a time, all cars had cigarette lighters and built-in ashtrays. You pushed the lighter into the socket, and it would pop up when it was ready. Inside was a coil of metal that would be red hot. Many cars today still have the socket since it's essentially a power socket, and there's all sorts of stuff that can be plugged into it, such as phone chargers, lights, air compressors (for inflating ties), etc.

    A hymen may not actually be a guarantor of virginity, but plenty of people in modern times and throughout history fervently believe it is. They could also be saying that her knowing what sex was at all was proof.

    • @ZM-jb6gc
      @ZM-jb6gc 8 місяців тому +3

      Contrary to V's assertion, telling if a girl is a virgin is most certainly "a thing". There are some exceptions. Yes, there are indeed SOME exceptions. But this modern idea where one or two exceptions invalidate the rule is too much. The vast majority of virgins will pass the test. It is "a thing". For women who deny this, it's less them highlighting the exceptions and more them admitting they aren't virgins and don't want that to be your business.

    *The hymen is a real thing and breaking it is real.*
    I used to be in SEG the Screen Extras Guild in the 80's, 90's and early 2000. Ace Ventura 2 was one of my many filming extra credits. The show I signed on to was going to be completely different but they changed directors half way through filming. I had multiple scenes with Jim Carrey. Several were with Jim dressed up as President Abraham Lincoln with the bloody patch on the back of his head. It would have come in just after Ace says "I'm the master of Disguises". I'm 6'4" and I was standing directly behind Ace in the scene while he was following the Colonel or Admiral and him trying to blend in with the rest of us tourist listening to a park supervisor telling us about the park and how much it all cost while he stuck out like a sore thumb. After the Colonel or Admiral was gone Ace/Abe Lincoln turned around fast grabbed my shirt collars and said "don't ever ever stand behind me" then he slid out of frame. It was a great scene and funny scene. We couldn't have any cameras on set but there is one photo of jim as Abe and myself next to him online. It was where Ace first found the mechanical Rino. We also filmed multiple scenes where I would then blow Aces cover by shouting "there's the azzhole that assaulted me" dirrecting everyones attention to him but again the new director went in a different direction. There is a directors cut out there with all this unused stuff in it. The Consulate and animal park was a private school for girls in Kerrville Texas. We had a great time hanging out with Jim there because it was private so he could relax and just hang out all the time. We did have to sign an NDA and an agreement that stated "we would never us any of Jim Carreys famous movie lines" on set or in Jim's presents. We could be fired and fined! We understand that. It would get old fast for him. That's my useless story about Ace Ventura 2 When Nature Calls.

      Yes, hymens are real. They vary considerably, can be damaged by lots of things, and also can remain undamaged despite having sexual intercourse. No reputable medical body considers virginity testing valid. It's unclear what exactly the woman in the video means. She's being somewhat non-specific.

    I never thought of this, but fun head canon; Ace is a variant of Batman, but he went the animal activist/detective route instead of fighting crime.
    He’s a master detective. He’s afraid of bats. Despite his goofy mannerisms and funny clumsy moments, he’s quite athletic and agile, with great resilience and tolerance (as seen by the darts needed to take him down). Ok so so here's a funny fact, there's that scene where Ace says "Shawshank Redemption" when he's trying to mess with the natives, well Quinn, the guy with the parrot is played by the same actor who plays the prison warden in Shawshank Redemption (although i'm not sure if you've seen that movie yet, but if you haven't, see it! It's good! )

      No reputable healthcare organization supports the validity of virginity testing.
      So, no. Women's hymens vary to begin with, can get damaged by many things, and may remain undamaged despite them having vaginal sex.

I started wondering if any of my favorite review channels ever watched the Ace Ventura movies. As I was getting onto UA-cam I was thinking how I would prefer to watch When Nature Calls since it's my favorite of the two. And lo and behold the very first video was this one.

Because the first Ace Ventura movie was what introduced me to Jim Carrey and what made him a huge star… so the first Ace Ventura movie will always be superior to all other Jim Carrey movies… not because it was better but because it was what made him

    I remember when I was I think in Middle School I think, I had to move and one night when I was texting with some "friends" in my room, they told me a yoing boy I once had a huge crush on. and who first returned my affections.. ..broke up with me and fell in love, with someone else...I was so upset that I ran downstairs, told my parents with my cellphone in hand, and cried my heart out. Miraculously, this EXACT movie just happened to be playing at the very beginning, and that made me feel instantly better! That was my first break-up...💔

    "You can't tell. How could you tell that? It's not a thing... They try to say that there's a thing inside, but that's not a real thing..."
    It actually is a real thing! It's called the hymen and can generally indicate a woman's virginity if she's young enough, though it might get broken without sex as the woman gets older. In a tribal society though, a broken hymen would generally indicate a woman who is not a virgin! Your lesson on human anatomy is over, hope you enjoyed it!

    • @seigeengine
      @seigeengine 8 місяців тому

      It's unclear what she's talking about. Hymens are a thing. Virginity testing is a thing. It's validity is not supported by any reputable healthcare organization though.
      It's fairly well known hymens can be broken by other activity, however, hymens are also highly variable to begin with, and may simply not be damaged by sexual intercourse anyway. So it's both that a broken hymen does not prove a woman isn't a virgin and an unbroken one doesn't prove she is, and to what extent it's even there varies tremendously.
