Maybe Governor Murphy can prevail on the NJ Fish and Game Council to cancel the upcoming bear hunt in lieu of the stress these animals are already under and the extreme fire risks. A fire can be caused by a hot muffler on a Pick Up parking on grass, an ATV , a campfire or even a knocked over can of sterno. We don't need any more outbreaks to add to this.
It's wonderful these animals are receiving help. If this tugs at your heartstrings, consider not eating meat, especially from factory farms. It's ironic that people get deeply emotional about a single injured opossum or skunk, but will continue to subsidize an industry that tortures and kills millions of animals every day.
They need to put out this fire. These animals will have no habitat to return to. How is it that it keeps going and going? The whole northern half of NJ now has bad air. Can everyone get outside with hoses and start spraying? Why is there such a lax response from the government? This is a highly populated area that surrounds these woods. A lot of people's homes and businesses are in danger.
You do realize, part of the privilege of living near forests, at times of crisis, be good neighbours to the other areas of the animal kingdom...and, yes, Asian Americans, China, this Guardian, as I have said, is NY Toms very British/Brazilian future wife MD.......
This is a private organization, that's why she's asking for donations. Also, if you want to blame someone for P'nut's death, blame his idiot owner. He could have moved to Pennsylvania where it's legal to own a pet raccoon, instead he moved to NY where pet raccoons are illegal, and rehabbers must have special advanced licenses to care for them. He never made any effort to get any licensing, not even the basic licensing.
Thks to all animal rescue people everywhere!!!!!
❤Heartfelt thank you for All the rescues you are continuing 😊❤
I’m relieved that many animals can be saved unlike what the DEC did to poor Peanut and Fred!!! RIP Peanut and Fred
Good thing they're in Jersey and not New York, 'cause Hoechul and the DEC would probably redrum them.
I knew someone didn't forget Peanuts.
@@josephshields2922 And Fred. 🦝

We have to adapt and come up with a better way to fight fires. God Bless everyone up North

They need water 😩 If i lived near there I'd leave buckets of it for them.
There are rattlesnakes and copperheads in those woods too.
Are you offering to take them?

Poor scruffs
So the state will spend thousands on healing these wild animals but have no problem going to off someone's pet who was minding their own business?
the irony, but it does look like they're not government ran, and are independent
I don't think she's getting State funds and she's in Jersey.
