Everything she said is absolutely correct 20 years and 26 psych meds later it caused more problems. Chi Kung , yoga, diet , and meditation is my treatment now.

Depression and anxiety are too real and universal to be left free to damage health . Yoga is the best natural anti-depressant . It is the preventive as also curative medicine . Children should be taught yoga in schools . Best demonstration to beat depression. Great social service done for the cause of health and welness.

I think that's ethicates and education.
Becz I am in depression becz the girl i had crush back in school days don't like me becz of my skin color another one rejected me becz of cast issue and same continued in college as well.
And at that time I used to thought that I lag smwhere but that's not true, becz I gone through each and every articles on internet the main reason i concluded is i don't belong to these deprived society where peoples are restricted by cast color race and religion. I am above all these shits but unfortunately no one in this world. Hence I come with 2 optiona either end my journey forcefully or fight..
I'm still fighting but no idea how long this battel will go becz fighter needs to get recharged..
I have faced colour discrimination and many times I saw my face in mirror and just think why I am not beautiful ..but one day me and my Di went to a Clinic where di had a appointment with doctor ..nd I sat outside there a man .. i think he has a appointment with doctor ..Nd when I saw he has only one arm and he laughed with other person ..nd that day I felt there is many people in the world who are blind ,lame and even they can't walk take life as a challenge and enjoy the bless of God ..So dear please don't hate yourself. People who likes face beauty can't stay at one face .their mind thinking change' daily .daily they look New face and forget old one ..
people who love heart beauty stay with them ..nd aagr aap he khud ko pyar nhi krego to aap kaise umeed kr skte hai ki koi aap se pyar krega ..So first love yourself if someone ignored you that's their mindset..you are handsome😊and see in mirror say to yourself daily ..do meditation do yoga and live happy life and busy yourself with study and whatever you want to do ..if someone said you are not handsome..say it's my beauty and only I know I am handsome by heart..heart beauty is more precious than Face beauty 😊...God Bless You 😊

I'm disappointed. My son sent me this link. I've just been prescribed anti-depressants. This yoga clearly isn't for anyone who isn't slim and healthy. I'm the opposite and living with many heath conditions. I haven't been able to get down onto the floor now for countless years. Automatically I am excluded.
You can still do these poses my love!! Try using bands, belt, or yoga blocks to help you adjust your body. Don’t over stress your body and feel bad if you cannot do it exactly as it is shown in the video. It takes time and most importantly yoga is about having a deeper understanding and connection to you mind, body, and spirit. I’m sending you lots of love and positive vibes ❤️

I'm in my late sixties and find some of them hard to accomplish. Are there any easier ones for the more senior persons ? I manage the easier ones so I'm gradually finding them helpful. If there's more that are easier, please show us. Thanks

Why don't u try antidepressants... I'm 17 nd antidepressants r a miracle....don't just think negative about medicine...the side effects are only for 2_3 weeks as body adjusts... after that the antidepressants start working in 1_2 months ...nd they literally saved my life...I was just suicidal nd having severe panic attacks nd anxiety....Lexapro is the medicine I'm currently on from 1 month
I have tried yoga ...and I have done programs even from sadhguru...but ultimately antidepressants worked...

Madam, can a person ( 28 Yrs male) with myopic vision ( -11) do the second asana where head needs to be lowered. I am asking this because when we lower our head, we feel a pressure on the facial area...is there any possibilty of any adverse effect of such pressure on nerves controlling our eyes. I do not know whether its a very dumb query or not... Kindly guide🙏

Pls suggest some yoga for back and neck pain cause by depression
I have had anxiety and panic attacks because of which I had severe head ache and pain in the back neck right below head.. I started doing meditation for 10 min a day.. Listen to ASMR while sleeping , vagus nerve exercises and Acupressure..did it for a week.. These helped me calm my nerves, head ache is almost gone and I feel less anxious..
