I think that the cloudwheels look bulky because of the width of the trucks, on wider trucks they look better. Great video btw👌👌👌
Yes indeed...u are right needs wider trucks but I like the 85mm stock wheels better. Verreal RS needs the clouds as I said in the video.

@@thesgkid be careful in NYC it is loosing signal. I would not recommend Exway the quality and customer service got really poor now. Riders complained to loose signal.

The Exway Flex can reverse so you should definitely be able to stop and then some. You don’t out of the box you have to turn that function on in the app. Might Evolve GTR is in the shop getting repaired so I ordered this so I have something to ride, just waiting for it to come

I like how they tuck the motors . Seen lots of breakage with all the other configurations. Not fan of the outboard set ups , when I see that stuff going on. My rider is in a in a different class, I like to see what's on the market for my next ride. Definitely like the quality of the reviews and and such, too.

So, If I'm going to be putting some 105mm cloudwheels on the Flex, that means I can't use the stock 85mm pulleys right? and viceversa after putting on the 105mm cloudwheel with its pulley I can't go back down to the stock pulleys right?
What did exway say about the motors scraping the cable?
they fixed the issue aleady. the boards that will be sent will not have this issue.

Dying to see the Bound D1 review. As far as I can tell you are the only UA-camr that has one.
I am in process ordering one, but they have a new batch of motors now and they informed me that I could wait 2 weeks and get a D1 with the new direct drive. So idk. Would love to see the review of the one you have. Probably good enough, and I want a board ASAP.
What do you think? Without any spoilers, any problems so far, to where you'd wait for the new motors?

i forfot the name of the brackets but I ordered all 3 sets. They are pretty cheap and very useful for other type boards. Like off road.
0:57 that acceleration actually seems quite slow... looking at the timer it's about 4 seconds from 8kph - 23kph (5-15mph) and 11 seconds to 35kph (22mph). The Boosted Stealth (according to Skate Metric) is doing about 2 seconds 5-15mph and 5 seconds 5-22mph, so it would be accelerating twice as fast. Does this match your experience? How powerful does the Flex feel next to the Boosted Stealth or Plus?
This is a interesting observation. The acceleration seems fast. I do own a stealth and a plus and I feel like Flex has similar acceleration but is faster than both models from boosted. I dont have a friend that weights same weight as me but it will be cool to do a side by side comparison.

Ok so I'm 6'3" and 220lbs, and about to buy my first e-skate, and can't decide between X1 Pro and Flex. I live in LA so streets can be rough at times plus I like to carve a bit, so the flex appeals to me, but I do want something stable and I love the minimalism of the X1. Thoughts? I've heard people that weigh as much as us shouldn't get flexy decks but you're clearly doing fine haha.
I am heavier than you and Flex is handling very well. I also get good range so definitivily get FLEX. Now if you want to carve more Verreal RS is also a very good option with more range and power.

From all options you mentioned Exway Flex is the best. I ride Flex every day and I think its the best budget friendly option today on the market. If you need more range than Verreal RS and if you want to go fancy and fast Bound Motors Direct Drive D1

The motor clearance/rubbing against the wiring is a fail for me. They need to rethink the design. Can you rotate the motors around and fix them to the back of the board to alleviate the issue?
Yes I think this can be done. I also will add 2mm spacer or replace the existing one with 4mm spacer. This is a easy fix. I will look for a better repair also. I would like to keep the deck as low as possible so I may epoxy the wires into the deck.
When you talk about 2mm spacer do you mean riser pad? Would putting 4mm riser pads do the trick you think? I’m concerned about this issue now too. Perhaps stiffer bushings would help out a little? I’m 225lbs heavy rider as well. Does this issue happen only using the cloud wheels or will it happen regardless of what wheels you use?

hello, i buy cloudwheels 120d, but belt is to loose.. so u unscrew that 4 screws and tried move motor, but it cant.. how i can adjust belt tention?
you may have first production bath from exway. the second production and forward have adjustments slots on the motor mounts. Contact exway and get new motor mounts.

Hello, thank you for all your reviews. Had great help from many of them. I have a few questions that I hope you will have the time to answer. I have an Evolve GT bamboo which is pretty stiff, I have run it with Abec 11 97 mm and cloud wheels. Are there better smoother like the rubber wheels? Which ones and pulleys can I use? When you rode the Exway flex with cloud wheels did you use the original pulleys? Do Exway supply different pulleys? Can you use cloud or Abec on a Wowgo 3X? I know that was a lot but hope to get some answers. Thank you

Which one do you like better the flex or the Verreal rs? For a heavy rider.
Verreal RS with 14S battery i get over 25 miles in range. If you decide to buy the board use the link i placed in description you will get a better deal. The same on the wheels. 105sDiscovery are the best so far.
Are you using the stock bushings? I bet if you just switched to a harder Duro the wire scraping issue might be solved.
That may be a solution. I will also add 2mm riser.

yes the hubs are quiet....really quiet.
I'm interested in knowing if the boundmotor wheels would fit the flex, and also how well a larger pulley might mitigate the larger diameter. I plan on getting a flex as most paths in my city I ride on are well maintained bike paths. But there are strips where I have to go through and ride on extremely rough asphalt, not uneven, rough. There are also some cobblestone streets, causing intense vibration.
These parts are fine on my G2T if I go slow, but very uncomfortable. The flex will probably be better already with full wheels and flexy deck, but I really want to figure out if I could put some largeish rubber wheels on it and tailor it to my use case.
I would get flex for commuting in the city where roads are OK and wait for the offroad version of Exway for bad roads. Exway Flex is not that fun for big wheels if you are heavy.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Thanks for replying. The roads aren't bad, some inbetween strips are, and I currently manage them well enough with the 97mm wheels of the G2T. I don't want to go as large as the cloud wheels 120mm, which is why I am curious about the 105mm boundwheels. What I really want is a street board that deals slightly better with rough surfaces (pavement transitions, asphalt with inset rocks for winter grip, curb ramps and the like) but I don't actually go the majority of any distance on this kind of road, at the same time I want to be able to cross this stuff without having to get off the board. I suspect the deck and full PU wheels will already improve this for me though in comparison to the G2T.

@@MentalEdge I see...they may fit. I have to check. Also icloud wheels are releasing 105 that will same core and fit exway with flex pulleys. I think those will be great. I like the bound motors wheels but I think they look great on a carbon deck but I will try on flex.

That is a great idea but it will require to much work and you loose that portability factor that this board has initially was designed for. Just wait a bit since Exway is coming soon with off road version and you can just get that.

I've heard that the larger the wheels, the lower the range. It's due to pushing more watts to move the larger wheels.

@@bajaboardukesk8858 yes....I am not working right now and after spending over $1000 for esc for flipsky I have no cash to buy esc. If anyone can help get 2 good dual esc I will definitely finish the post the video. For now...I have to wait until the city get better and they remove the lock down. Hopefully work comes back and I will be able to buy new esc for the project.

I sold all of my boosted boards. Flex is faster, has the same acceleration and more rage. The most important you have a customer support team that is doing great.

not really. Vestar is one of my favorite boards too but Flex have so many more features and is just offering a bit more higher quality components. Or should I say more premium components and design.

@@ElectricVehicleSpace they do not. Bought a board with a defective esc. So they say, board worked 1 time. It took them 1 month to say it was a defective ESC. They wanted me to take the board apart. Was going to send part never did, per person i have been communicating with i sent board to their office in NY about 3 weeks ago. They got the board. I put a claim tru paypal to get my money back. I didn't. 800 dollars they have and have the board. Good customer service my ass.
