Any coach that preaches that he has the "secret move to make you a top competitor " is either angling for clicks or an liar. Any top wrestler will tel you the secret is HARD WORK! The man who out works his opponent wins the majority of the time. (Also for every move, there is a counter)
why would you leave a knee down? i recognize that it would be hard to putt low pressure on a person with both knees up, but as the bottom person, i would never tripod up like that, and would certainly go after that knee.
No clue what the other comment you got was supposed to mean but i was thinking the same thing, if that knee is in front of me forget the arms that leg is mine. And also red shirt man did not stand up correctly, if he stands up correctly i do not think this will work, probably good against sloppy wrestlers. Everything i herd coach say sounded spot on, his movements all looked tight and good, i would definitely pay attention to this mans advice however i will not train this technique.
Long Jawn nah you do the ( we call it knee tap where I learned it) on bottom. You cranked down on their elbow and put your hand across on their knee that is on the side of the front headlock, then you circle away from the headlock while blocking their knee , and it causes them to collapse. Then if you are quick enough and swim with the opposite arm you can catch them and get back points. Otherwise you continue to Circle and get your two
I would go quarter Nelson. Less risky and more finishes. If they follow you, then you can just throw them by using their momentum and get your two. If they stay then you can get back points and/or pin.
the actual move starts at 4:55
thank you

This technique works.
Just a question; why is putting your arm in deep bad in the sprawl position?
+Pablo Schultz Having the elbow exposed can lead to a barrel roll or a knee block if they can get a hold of the elbow.
