When i wrestle i used to use the regular firemen, but about 20 years i started showing a firemen similar to this one. I had a few girls on the team and they could not do the regular firemen, so i show then to penetrate in deep, have a tight grip on the tricep and snake grip around the other leg and at the same time pull hard on the arm and leg in a downward motion. They became very succesful with this firemen including the guys. I did not learn it from anyone, but now I see other people doing it like this. I thought i invented it, but i guess not.
Another great video as always. Can you make a video about Austin O'Connor front headlock move series?? I feel like he’s very underrated and not talked about enough.
I recently got into wrestling and I really love all your videos, but theres so many techniques I really don't understand what to prioritize. If you could pick a series or move both offense and defense what would you choose for a beginner to get really good at? I don't know if this is a hard question, but any answer I would be very appreciative for! Thank you.
probably the basics, like sprawl, shoot, hand fighting and then you can work it up by looking at what you feel comfortable of(ex:you learn how to double leg takedown, high c and single leg. but you feel most comfortable at double, so it's better to drill more off double but you still gonna drill those others) and always listen to your coach
It's all about the left hand grip. It's a VICE GRIP for him. He makes it look so easy. Does the grip have to be up high on the tricep? He has a low center of gravity as well. He is actuall giving the opponents left knee a hipcheck.
@@adil7845 it's a hand tool that is stronger than a pair of pliers. There is a lever on it that causes it to click in place so it's super tight. Spencer is known for his grip strength
@earnyourgoldmedal My offseason and in season coach don't like wrestling off knees like Michael mcgee but I feel like I've been getting pretty good at it could I get the same results by just wrestling in a very low stance im 113 so im use to low stance thank you!

Happens a lot of in martial arts and especially ones this big lol
Poor Foley losing three times to the same move…
That’s my close family’s friend
Didn’t he get pinned with a tilt too? And lose to a CA high schooler recently?
america first larper@@n.h6001
Foley doesn't know how to learn
Keep making videos. These are fantastic.
Notice the vast majority of these are early in the match before sweat is dripping and the grip on the tri is so much stronger. EYGM Gang 🙏🏼

That’s literally my next video
Please do not stop making these videos. I make instant money with these in Judo 🥋
What grips do you use? Since you can't grab the legs.
this is exactly how i do my dump, it just felt more natural (maybe because i was a "lazier" wrestler lol
The same move I used in high school never made sense why you would try to get them to go over your head you just risk losing control
same

Learn hip and head position throughout different positions then ur offense and defense will flow more smoothly
Wrist control to upper arm control.
What are the best moves for a tall/lanky wrestler?
we need this!
Honestly this is a good move for tall guys because it’s easy to get to that overhook

What's a vice grip
@@adil7845 Means it's really tight

controlling that tricep is the key, I learned this as the dump
@@hectormunoz6498 doesn't your opponent practically give you the triceps during tie up?
Whoa was that an Ian Bromley photo? Do you have a Catch connection?
I actually don’t at all, but coincidentally for the past few days I’ve been watching endless content on catch wrestling. It’s pretty cool.
Whats the perfect time to hit this move?
Right when they pressure into you and take a step with the leg you’re shooting on
Can you please do a break down of Real Woods?
Which part of Real Woods’ offense? I have a video showing his tilts from top. I’m going to do a video showing his Russian snap down as well

Could he have done a backbend here to pin him?
I see me using this in BJJ now….
