Hey, great Zippo content you got going on! I just recently got myself a couple, both second hand units, and feel I could use some pointers, if you don't mind the trouble answering.
First off, the cases of both have a bit of looseness in their hinges and I _feel_ they could use some tightening. Nothing that serious I think, but definitely looser than your resulting tightened hinge at the end of this vid. With the insert removed and the case held sideways, the non-hinge side of the lid on the first one droops about 1mm to the left and 2mm to the right, and about 1.2mm and 3mm on the second one, respectively. As I haven't handled a brand new Zippo (yet... I feel this might become a collecting rabbit hole :D), I don't have a point of comparison with a fresh hinge. Do you think this amount of sway I got with these cases would warrant a tightening?
Secondly, I can't quite seem to figure out how you're getting the hinge pin out of these modern cases with the interally mounted hinge. No matter which position the hinge is, the edge of either or both of the case halves seems to always partially obstruct the hinge end, which would seem to prevent the pin to be pushed out. I haven't used any tools on them yet, to not risk making dumb mistakes that would result in a case needing professional repairs.
Of course, I could just try the tightening method you showed in your September 18 2020 video where you simply gave an intact hinge assemly some squeezing with pliers, but this one would seem like a more 'proper' method, as it would appear to better retain the hinge's original form and not risk malforming it.
    Thanks!
