Ha ha.. knew I would cath somone out 🤣🤣🤣
Man cave getting high Tec ! Rubber hammer ,sweet !!!😂
Lol.. glad you noticed 🤣🤣. Was fed up with getting stuck for using my claw hammer 🤣🤣
Adam I think the problem is the magnet has lost force. You need to hit it with a remagnetizer. Easy to make and use off a 12 v battery.
Aw the mag is actually shit hot now. Sparks really well at a slow cranking speed.
I think the pipe with tap on going behind the carb is for running on gas 🇬🇧👍
Interesting, never thought of that. 😀
Engine does look good inside I think its going to run without much fuss to be honest looking forward to seeing her go
Yeah it will get there mate. The mystery to the carb is solved, look out for next video. 👌
This is 300cc engine capable of driving 1.25 kilowatt generator
Aw great. Thanks 😀
I would have oiled the tappets myself. Bit of mechanical sympathy, nothing wrong with that.
Yeah I always oil what I can when an engine has been standing for god knows hiw many years.
It’s a mk1 t300 made from 1932 to 1945. Iv got mk1 and mk2 lovely little engines very well made!
Aw thanks. How can you tell its a mk1? I was unsure, but guessed by that mag is was early because I seen others with Wico impulse mags on.
@@NorfolkMancave Starting handles on the mk2 were fixed to the engine and oil filler is at a angle on the mk1. My mk1 and mk2 both have that BTH mag. She will run like a Swiss watch.
Remember to count the number of turns on the needle BEFORE you remove it.
I counted. But there is a slight problem. It will get there tho.
Got an electronic copy of the manual if you're interested
Ow have you really. Would be very interested if you could email me it. Adamfenn2@yahoo.com Thanks very much. 😀
Have you ever considered new points?
You know me, I like to try and get things going without replacing parts. This engine might surprise you. 😮
Point file makes it easier
I been trying to find one for a while. Can't seem to find one tho. 😕
Its not the Douglas...just saying lol
Lol. Bloody twins.. I keep forgetting.
Point file
