Amazing idle and I can't believe I'm saying that about a 4 banger.
As with many videos, it definitely sounds better in person. It's so amusing to listen to! 😄
the way i do them with coyotes is thru VCT overlap. then going into the mapped point and halving spark, raising idle rpm slightly, touching vct distance tables for a clean transition to idle, touching idle torque reserve, flipping rate limits, doubling max corrections, setting some rpm stuff so it doesn’t try to correct itself as much and i believe thats it. i may of forgot some stuff but that would probably be a much safer option for you for your desired results. hit me up if you wanna see how it works on a coyote
If I was able to control the vct map at idle, that would be cool. My only concern is having the exhaust overlap into the intake stroke during the fuel injection period, allowing fuel to pass into the exhaust system. I guess you would have to set the exhaust to close before SOI begins? BTW, I think I had the cycle wrong by thinking the intake stroke starts at 0 degrees. I referenced the diagram you had sent me, and intake stroke starts at 360 degrees??
@@KarzKreated ford does theirs a little different. honestly i don’t do enough ecoboost to pay attention. the injection timing is a good point as to not do it that way lol

Ur amazing man im looking to buy a ecoboost but im unsure there’s a lot of arguments about their head gasket
My best advice is if you're planning to mod an Ecoboost car, plan on the rebuild. Some make it, many don't. Once you build them, they are pretty stout little engines.
