I'm sitting down to watch this now, and I already know I'm going to love it! (I pressed 'like' before watching! ;) Your videos are always a little moment of calm in my week.
Love, love, love those greens and blues💕 Have you considered having a post office box (or whatever the equivalent is in the UK) so your viewers can send you items that are hard to find where you are? That Turner gouache is available in the US and so affordable. Think about it. Thanks for a lovely soothing break in my day.
I absolutely loved your video and how you were able to match pencils to gouache. Your love of ginger root makes me want to ship you a stash of these. I’d be happy to do that
Hey Laura! Thank you so much for watching! I think why I swatched similar colour in different mediums because I love working in mixed media. I also thought this would be interesting for anyone up here, to find the media they are working with. :)) Haha, yes, that is my favourite, I think its fine, thank you for suggestion though! I actually got a few suggestions from this video comments where I can buy them in the UK. :)
I found your channel on the weekend and am bingeing it. I love your colour choices - you and I seem to have the same favourites. What more would you need? They’re all about nature and just make me feel calm and happy. If someone made a set of those 10 colours in colouring pencils and markers I think it would be a runaway success. I think the one colour I would add is teal.
Thank you so much Cyberia398! I am happy you like my channel and enjoy watching the videos. Happy to inspire! :) Ouh yes, that would be a lovely set indeed!
Thats so interesting! I just checked colours you like! I feel deep blue, indigo is super inspiring colour. :) Thats so sweet! Thank you! I will keep this in mind if I will be desperate. :D
I love seeing your color palette! I love the colors you selected. And the pressed flower book is a great idea. I love your work and look forward to your next video!
thank you so much for taking the time to swatch out so many gorgeous colors! I especially love the blues and orange rust colors. And I now have a better appreciation for the rest of the colors you swatched! I especially like that you showed examples of how you use particular colors in your work :)
Beautiful colors! Today I was sorting through some Prismacolor pencils that I bought from a thrift store and was delighted to find that I have a Ginger Root. I love the hint of green it has. Lovely pressed flower book. 🌿
Just found your channel and your colour choices are wonderful! The orange flower you have pressed is a Montbretia (Crocosmia). They are wonderful plants but on the borderline hardy here in Sweden.
Thank you for this great video! I never get bored! Holbein offers such unique colours! I use too the misty blue and all the ash shades that they make (green, blue yellow, rose). I absolutely love your colours combinations with the rusty, yellow tones! They bring warmth while contrasting subtly. I think that it is just beautiful. I also Love your paintings! I hope that one day they will be available to buy. You are very talented and inspiring.
Thank you Cristina for lovely comment! Yes, I love all the ash and mist colours from Holbein gouache as well! :) After the book project I will try to work a little bit more on my website and etsy store, as I wanted to list more products and some illustrations in my favourite colour palettes. :))
Thank you! What is your favourite colour? :) And thank you so much Anna for the recommendations! I now want to buy Sand from Holbein. I have swallow from Irojiten, its more yellowish/ pale mustard, but I like it as well. :)
@@kriksis I love all the colors! But recently I really enjoy earthy greens. Ah I see, you already have the Sallow. Sand and Sallow look pretty much the same.
@@kriksis so hard to pick a color! But love Earth green from faber castell, and also "dirty" greens. Love yellow ochre, greys and blue. I always like to add something contrasting and bright though like a hot pink or red
Lovely video and colour palettes! I think i need that silver grey :) There’s at least one small shop in the uk that sells individual Prismacolors, Rainbow Fine Art Pencils.
Hey Eliina! That silver grey is just the perfect cloudy sky colour! :) Oh wow! Well thank you for this reference! I didn't even know! I might use that website for some serious restock and spend all my money! :D
Thank you for letting me know your favourites! Super interesting! :) Ouh yes, I love smalt blue too! Did you know its just a Ultramarine and titanium white together? Was super surprised to learn that. :)
I love your taste in colors and really enjoyed the video! Very calming and relaxing. I love the pressed flower book also, I have wanted to do this myself! What kind of tape are you using to attach the flowers to the page?
What an amazing video, Kristiāna! I love your color palette, that was one of my inspirations to create my own color palette. Which is very similar to yours. I pressed 'like' yours videos before I even watch them, like Natasha, because they are always amazing. This particular video was wonderful for me. I already know Derwent's Drawing pencils and love them, they're on my art supplies shopping list. I always do a lot of color swatches and wonder why I never thought of making a color book before? What a wonderful idea. I have already picked up a small sketchbook for this purpose. Thank you so much for this video, I'm super excited for the next video.
Thank you for another great video! It was so interesting to see your favorite colors. I was happy to see a few of my favorites (misty blue, lobster, ash green in particular 😍). I loved all of the colors you showed and will be doing some shopping soon 😂
Thank you for watching! Yay, happy to hear your favourites! :) Haha yes I guess I needed to have a disclaimer, that it may trigger art supply shopping addiction. :D All the best. Kriksis
Loved to see your enthusiasm swatching your favourite colours (jade green is one of my favourite prismacolor pencils) 😊 I personally always fall for all sorts of turquoise and olive green/green gold/ochre. Funny thing is I was just filming a video today about some new supplies I got (I'm taking courage to venture into building my own channel, which is at the same time scary and exciting) and one of the paints is exactly this tone of blue you said you love (misty blue). Hopefully I'll post it soon so you can check that out if you wish, maybe grow your collection 😊
Hello Carol! :) Really interesting to get to know colours you like! Also about video making - I want to say that you've got this! Super exited for your video! It is scary in the beginning. For me it was like that, I'm actually quite shy, but I think the more I do it the more confident I get and now I'm talking to camera as if my friends were next to me and I was showing colours to them. :) Will check your video when it will be out!
Thank you Jill for watching! :) I started this hobby only this year, but was thinking to maybe combine flower pressing and illustration at some point to make mix media art. :)
Lovely video Kriksis, I'm definitely going to rewatch it when I'm getting some new colours (ah, I love that green!). I've bought a set of pencil Prismacolours (from Amazon) and I've seen that there are some resellers here in the UK that sell single pencils :) so, don't worry eheh!
Thank you so much for the compliments Jess! :) Okay, I guess I haven't done a lot of prismacolour research, why did I not think of Amazon or eBay? :D :) Have a lovely evening!

Thanks for the info, I always thought that they are Pablo, but they are not!
