- Joshua offers $10,000 to Angelique if she will give up the idea of marrying Barnabas. Josette and Naomi see a hand come out of Jeremiah's grave. Naomi and Natalie have a discussion about who is possessed!
I think one of the reasons Julia and Angelique were so beloved is that their love for Barnabas was unreciprocated. We can all relate to that.
Still wrong is wrong there is a line between love and obsession

I can relate. With those 2 having in common that they both were not really loved by Barnabas seems to me they would be more allies rather than enemies.

Angelique is so evil.
Lara Parker somehow manages to make us feel sympathy for the character in spite of this.

In this episode, judging from the flubs and wooden delivery of their lines, Ms Bennett, Miss Parker, and Mr Edmonds didn't have adequate rehearsal time. And that is saying something considering flubs are the norm for our beloved DS!
The flubs are what makes dark shadows fun and more enjoyable to watch, and there's much more flubs where they came from.😅

Rogers ancestor Joshua is far more meaner and stubborn than the present day Collins descendent. Being a cat for one week has helped him be more mean.

You know Angelique was just dying to turn Joshua back into the cat after the way he talked to her during their little chat, in which he tried to bribe her into dumping Barnabas (fat chance).
Poor Naomi tries to be the voice of reason. Sad that Angelique will listen to her and her own husband won't.
Natalie rules out Angelique as a suspect for being a witch because she finds her to be so 'uninteresting.' Oh, Natalie, you couldn't be so further from the truth!
Joshua confuses me. One minute he's willing to entertain the notion of witchcraft being practiced, the next he dismisses Josette and Naomi's claims of seeing a hand pop out of Jeremiah's grave. But I suppose with all the weird things that are happening, it was bound to cause a lot of confusion with him and everyone else.
I think Angelique just wants to torment Josette for the hell of it, no matter how much she justifies bringing Jeremiah back for 'practical' reasons.
Jeremiah is looking for angelique, for interrupting his rest
