Theory: The old record holder took GeeNees family hostage and forced him to make this video saying he was cheting to make it seem that the run was invalid making his the world record again i think i may be onto something here.

That's a clean splice at the 23.90 second marker. It's hard position so good to make the splice unnoticeable to the naked eye. I mean, it's obvious because the Pirate Lord dialogue box disappears but if you enlarged the timer to go on top of his dialogue box entirely that would have been almost impossible to spot.

I think I found the splice in the turn just before he pulls out the sword. If you go frame by frame, (, and .) he turns left and then it jumps a bit to the right. Post a new run tomorrow please!
i don't think our boi GeeNee cheated beacause its not strategicly responsible to cheat on a speedrun on Sea on Thieves, plus he just made the Maiden Voyage so accorded to Pirate Code we have to respect him and his voyage :p
