LOADS Of Trout STILL Hanging Inside The Marsh!

- My trip deep inside the marsh to chase Redfish turned into a Speckled Trout beatdown. It is very common for birds to tell on a big school of feeding Trout, but I'm not sure it's quite so common to be happening deep on the inside of the marsh this time of year. Most people (with bigger boats) are making long runs out to saltier water and fishing rigs for Speckled Trout this time of year, but this year has been a bit of a curveball. I don't normally even think about Trout until fall weather gets here, but if they want to keep biting like this, I'll give them all the time they want. The rising tides are bringing in loads of white shrimp, so it's no big mystery that the Trout are there to meet them. Shrimp were jumping all over the marsh. A popping cork probably would have been a more effective way to catch these fish, but I can't resist catching them on a tight line. Me and my 2 boys were bringing them in 3 at a time on corks in china pass 2 weeks ago. Piles of trout and 1 nice red and a sheep before we called it a day. Cool video!

Great one-stop trip! The trout fishing can be decent this summer if you catch a low wind day, hopefully blowing any direction except W or NW.

Darn man ! It’s sure nice to run into jumping shrimp and diving birds, usually a good time!) went to Delacroix this week had decent trips on trout, and a few big reds!) keep up the great videos. What camera do you use?

GoPro 8 and GoPro 7. The 8 has the media mod so I can plug that mic I wear into it, and is the one I mount on the console. 7 on the chest strap

Just bought a Lews inshore baitcasting reel putting it on a 7ft medium ugly stick carbon inshore rod for Flounder fishing when I go to Florida

@@Jar_Fishing based on fishing videos I’ve seen it’s not unusual for speckle, trout and flounder to be in the same body of water inshore?
@@Alien300Blackout correct. I’m no flounder expert, but the ones I catch are on the same lures I catch trout on.
