- Dennis and I make a afternoon trip. I don't have the time I once had so I just have to take the day and time is available. I've been trying to get the house remodeled just in case my dad can ever make it home. I'm trying to do at least 80 percent should take me a few months. So it's always nice to get out on the water even if the conditions were bad. I was rethinking my decicison to go fishing just moving 5000lbs of junk in the last 4 days into a dumpster. Those trying to fish tomorrow be careful the water was very low

Friends I know we all miss seeing AJ’s videos , but if u all knew what he’s going thru with his dad since he had that bad motorcycle accident u would understand ! He’s had to try fixing his dads house to where he and his wife can live there with his dad as well as getting the place wheel chair accessible for his dad . So please be patient , it won’t be long before he’s back out on the water again bring us new videos ! Good luck my friend AJ and know I will be there to do what I can bud to help you!

Hope ya took a look at some of those duck hunt pics I sent ya.Last Wed was RIDICULOUSLY cold and me and my favorite doc went first to Scarsdale where we encountered ice and saw few ducks.I had to retrieve a fairly heavy 2-man pirogue and had fine pair of Banded waders on,thank GOD!Be fishing soon,just got Quack on de ole brain!!!Hope ya dad getting better!
The dam is such a awesome spot! Its so full of anticipation of that big trout bite!
The non stop trout bite at our other soot was phenomenal!!

Here in west central Louisiana it's supposed to get down to 19 degrees, I know we are not fishing here, I will be editing the video we made when we went down to Bienvenue, God bless and stay warm.

It was a steady bite we probably caught over 100 but couldn’t show everyone of them. But great day to be on the water.

Hopefully you can get some fishing in soon. My dad is stable just having trouble remembering and walking he thinks we still live in Kenner. We haven’t lived in Kenner since I was 11 years old. We just don’t know how much will come back.
AJ thank God he survived the accident. He is still with you. I learned when my boy was sick, you can’t look back, you can only appreciate what time you have left. And what matters is family, friends, and loved ones. Everything else is man made bullshit. I have another surgery on my right foot Thursday. I WILL get some fishing in right on time once this weather passes. Take care Bud!

Don’t know what happened to my comment ? Was saying I went out there same day towards Delacroix , found them on flats using a PB XL soft dine tagging 17-21 inch trout , couple lil reds as well , can’t believe how many bass I’ve caught lately surely thought that salt water killed them off , very hardy fish , was hoping to go back out for a repeat by Mother Nature decided no hahaha no water at back down by camp , as i type this think I’ll go down and play with some big blues off camp pier today , thanks again for sharing your video AJ , yeah I feel that left hand hurts on those reds you captured

You sure have a talent of catching those big reds 😮. You have to build up those wrist for when the trout turn on. Also i noticed how the tide was way down by the dam.
