  • In this video I will show you how to use non sag sealant by Rapid Set as well as many other projects I use it for. The most popular use for this caulk is to seal cracks in concrete but it does so much more. It can also be used on doors and windows and interior trim work as well as exterior trim work. There is nothing this stuff won't bond to and as you will see me demonstrate, the strength is unbelievable!

Wondering if you’d like a wish list?
    1. Making a pedestal that accepts wiring for an outdoor lamp post.
    2. Options for fixing a broken corner of concrete
    3. A base for a fountain that can accept both wiring and water.
    4. If I’m making stepping stones -in place- how can I get a stone look surface? I tried but they were stucco rough.
    5. A small step down waterfall
    6. Simple ends to make an outdoor bench.
    Keep it coming. Nice video.

I think the wood you used for trim was also a contributing factor to the failure. Replacing it with some primed redwood would have been a good idea.

I recommend using trim boards that are composite material. No rot and if you like the color, no painting. Almost no maintenance.

I've always used OSI QUAD MAX. It is the best I've found and easy to find. I use it for permanent sealant jobs. I then use Dynaflex Ultra for a good seal that may need removal later. But I'll have to check this one out for other projects.

I've used the product a great deal remodeling and love it, but what about light marine work on the boat, to hold a transducer wire in an aluminum track on the rail running it from back of boat to the front. So it's not heavy duty work but it is marine.

I just read that they released a new black color for their sealant. It appears this may appear to asphalt…not too many durable crack fillers for asphalt unless it’s hot rubber. Thoughts?

So my dog has managed to dig threw the sheet rock by his bed.

Lab mix (with what we have no idea) but hes a barrel on legs with a powerful build. Hes like "country boy strong"
And likes to kick off the wall when rolling around on the bed. His nails just dig threw the sheet rock.
Theirs reasons I named his "Ruckus" lol why? Cause I knew he would cause a few.

Can this be used to hold tile around a gas fireplace?

  • @hydrawand
    @hydrawand 2 роки тому

Nice to know it sticks to pretty much everything, but wood glue or Gorilla glue on wood will bond so well the wood will splinter before parting , and you can reseal the bottle. After you cut the tip on an 8 dollar tube of this, you need to pretty much use it all, as in my experience half used tubes have a short shelf life.
