So cool love the skis I have been using my floats on my planes but we didn’t get much snow this year in Connecticut but I did get them out and had a blast so much fun landing in snow. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Captain, I think you should try floats instead of skis. I live in Wisconsin and use floats in the winter all the time and don't have to worry about prop hitting the nose landing gear. Great video love how excited you get.
Yes, we all use floats on our planes during the winter in Canada, but skis look so much cooler!

Great, but A) why not make the front ski smaller and taller as it's only job is to keep the prop off the ground ( and you'd have less drag and a positive angle of attack) or B) just make the main skies shorter to accomplish the same thing ( except for the lesser drag)?

surprised you didnt 3dprint an adapter for the front ski to level it out.
One of my friends has tried 3d printed skis and they simply shatter on landing due to the cold
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 I meant like a 10mm spacer to extend the nose gear, not the plane of the ski
@@Mupshot Ahhh… it may be possible to add the 3d printed unit to the top of the ski, then connect to the metal nose post.
Hey Steve I havent heard you mention anything at all about this RPAS certificate needed and airplane registry etc.
Oh, that was all mentioned many years ago when those rules came into effect. Very old info so I don't repeat it anymore.

@@stevesrc1997 Hilarious… I’m a drone guy so I have the license and certification to fly in all non restricted airspace with registered crafts 250 grams & up. The MAC guys are the ones that are finding this to be a new thing.
