I’ve seen Christmas tree shops has nice rugs and lowes has cut to size runners just need to finish the ends.

when you use the vacuum, i assume this is just to spread out the dye better with the spinning vacuum brush? wouldn't that suck up some of the dye? (maybe you answered this in the audio but i skipped over some parts).

Do you use an old vacuum when it's still wet? Also, does it run the vacuum and does the shampooer get ruined with the dye after dried? Just planning for when I do mine. Was thinking on buying cheap ones just for this so it does ruin (if it does) my expensive dyson 😆

I have not had any problems with the vacuum and the cleaner
But I never used them on other carpets
I would say if u will be using ont light carpet after u may get cheapo to just use on the dyed one

I did not do anything after dying it.
We just threw down some moving towels and let it sit for a week
Other are saying 3-5days others 7days.

What color is best to dye for baby pink carpet

I’m not a color expert
I’ve only done this one
But for a light pink I think u can do a color that when mixed with pink would make another color like green
Pink and green make gray or brown.
Make sure u find a spot to do a test first.
Like a closet

Bleach it, then you can apply wtva color you like

I have had a viewer post that
But you would need to vent house for a while and anything that it gets on will be bleached
This is temporary till all construction is done and hardwood floors get installed
Maybe a good idea for person that will be keeping for yrs and yrs
