The idea with the original Baymax being fixed/revived is simply that as a machine all Hiro had to do was reprogram him with new files and reboot him. Breaking the corrupted chip was a symbolic death of who and what the original Baymax had become.
When Aqua asks about the Destiny Islands, "When did they fall to darkness?" It broke me that she couldn't fathom the possibility that she could return to the realm of light. Where's my tissues, ughhh. Then when it shows Lea on the clocktower, and he's holding two extra ice cream bars without really knowing why. So many emotions. I really need to look up how to make my own seasalt ice cream bars.
Story point : You are supposed to know that Castle Oblivion was the world of Ven, Terra and Aqua. It was revealed in Birth By Sleep. 👍 Ven is my favorite character ! I was so happy to see him back ! 😊 A vessel is an empty body so his "nobody" now, but one person's hearts and memories can be placed in but who ? 👀 The girl from Axel and Saïx scene you are not supposed to know who she is, it's a new element from the story. But if you're remember correctly you know in this game that a girl was prisonner from the laboratory of Ansem. Xehanort's Heartless was looking for her before kidnapping Ansem the wise ! Repliku returns to also ! He's basically explain that in the end of Chain of Memories his hearts and body was transported in the Realms of Darkness, his body was destroyed and now whats left of him is just his dying heart. And he choose to have his last moments inside Riku's heart with a last will that he want to do before disappearing.
@@MegaSpideyman It all makes sense the problem is the way in which Kingdom Hearts likes to tell its overarching story. It can't seem to decide on whether it wants to tell a linear story that continually goes forward or if it wants to detour a million ways to show you what happened or might have happened or will happen at some specific point in time. Having to put events in order just to make sense of them is beyond headache inducing and this far into the series even the developers can't keep up with their own story and lore.
Disclamer for the next time : I will try to not give you to much context. But in the future you can miss two cutscenes that are really important for the game. So when you are in a place when you can talk to some people (I can't tell you who) don't forget to talk to everyone and not misses this cutscenes ! 👍
With this you've positioned yourself at climactic points in both this game and Tales of the Abyss. The next episodes for each are going to be so good. I can't wait.
I think you're overestimate how Anti-Aqua can be open from your attacks. Anti-Aqua can be punish from basically every of her attack ! ^^ But I don't blame you, you can see some videos of her boss if you want to know 😊 Edit : Same things with Vanitas, sometimes when you start to do a combo against him you finish it to early even when Vanitas is still open to your attacks and you are maybe a little to passive because of that. But again you had so little defense so I don't blame you for that ^^
I found fighting as Riku and Aqua harder. I don't appreciate that it messes with my shortcuts. When I first fought as Riku and Aqua on Critical it was annoyingly hard... I'm better at it now but that first critical run I did was brutal. Vanitas angered me 😅
I was really looking forward to this episode! This entire carousel of important cinematics to the story is one of the most emotional moments in the game. Some notes: -The keyblade that Sora uses to reach the realm of darkness is Eraqus's, the one that Aqua inherited. -The vessel that Demyx brought is not a person, it is an empty body, something like a mannequin. It is designed so that a heart can be deposited there and can have its own body. It is important that you understand that this is the purpose of the vessels. -The girl Lea/Axel and Saix are talking about is normal for you to be confused because to this day we still don't know who she is, we only know what they say in that scene, that they became friends with her and joined the organization to try to find her when she disappeared. She is the same girl that Ansem the seeker of darkness wanted the information about a few episodes ago in Twilight Town, when he tried to force Ansem the wise to give him information. You will have more information about the girl in the secret reports of this game. -Important to note that the young Riku that Riku talks to on the Destiny Islands is Repliku, the one from Chain of Memories. Although he is dead, a part of him resides within Riku's mind and that is why they are able to have a conversation. -I remind you that rewatching your video of the first half of the Union Cross scenes is important for the end of this game, so that you take it into account in case you miss it.
I'm gonna bet no one here expected to hear this Riku say that Sora was right. But.....why are they looking to create a heart from data? It's nice to see how Hiro's grown from what happened in the film (I LOVE the callback line!) ^_^ And yeah, I think all of our hearts break a little at that sound, especially when seeing it for the first time and having no idea what comes next. I'm so excited, now we're really getting into the story stuff! In 'fragmentary passage', when Aqua meets up with him, Mickey is traveling through the Dark Realm, trying to find a special Keyblade from that realm. It's the one that looks like Sora's OG Keyblade, but with the palette swap. Nope, that's Eraqus's Keyblade! This scene comes from the teaser we got for KH3........over a decade ago. ^^; "We're not fighting Aqua!" Game says "bet?" Sora! The Keyblade they summon here doesn't have an official name, but it's the same one they used in DDD when doing Dimension Shifts in The World that Never Was. I love that they brought it back! AQUA!!!!!!! No matter how many times I see this scene, I always tear up a bit. She's finally out of the darkness and it's so beautiful to see the realization get through to her. I love this conversation between Vexen and Demyx. Not only do we get a great idea of what their chemistry could've been like back in the old days, but it gives us a great look into how some of the members who were turned back into Nobodies are trying to destroy the Organization from the inside. Reminder: The last time Ienzo saw Ansem, he was at most 9-10 years old (based on his size in BBS.) And after that, he was a Nobody until Repliku destroyed him. He probably had a lot of feelings he wasn't allowed to express while growing up under the belief he didn't have a heart, and now they've all come crashing into him again. No, that's a blank Replica body. I love that Goofy knows Donald so well that he knows when he needs to make sure he doesn't interrupt a serious moment with his impatience. Ah, you forgot? Yeah, Castle Oblivion used to be the Land of Departure. Aqua transformed their home at the end of BBS to keep Ven safely hidden. I have a lot more to say, but I have to go to work and I'm barely an hour into the video, so I think I'll make this one comment and leave the rest as a second one later, because this is already very long ^^;
1:32:17 - Nope, unfortunately it being Kairi would be too easy/make too much sense so the developers didn't go that route. Sadly I don't believe we have an answer to this one even now. They're really stretching this particular mystery out.

I don't know if this was a purposeful choice, or if it's just because the VA is doing both Sora and Vanitas in the same game, but they sound a lot more similar in this game. The only other time he's voiced them in the same game was waaaaay back in DDD, and I don't recall them sounding so similar then. Aqua (and her Shotlock) still say Gay RIghts! I am so mad by the way this scene for the end of the fight plays out. We KNOW Aqua is still an extremely powerful mage, even if she's still getting back on her feet in terms of fighting, and they chose to have her THROW herself in the way of a fireball over a barrier that wasn't even broken yet? Like, what? This makes no sense! I do like the following scene between Sora and Ven, though. It's sweet. I feel like Lea is a little bit of a stand-in for the player here, with him pointing out that Ven and Roxas look alike, and griping about the complications of the story. XD It's both very cute but also kind of sad that Ven recognizes him, because for Ven their meeting was....hours? Days? before he fell asleep. Ven saw the Dream Eaters! I mean, we already knew this, but it's nice to have the reminder. Saix, why are you so upset about Lea not being in Radiant Garden? Hmmmmm????😏What could pooooossibly be going on there that you want him to know about? There's a pretty good fanbase-wide guess about who the girl Lea and Isa became friends with. We don't know for certain, since there's been no confirmation yet, but it's thought to be a character only one or two other people in the present timeline would recognize. Hi Repliku! I am crying over this Paopu scene right now. Dammit, Nomura. You jerk. lol The name of the Keyblade that you can't remember is literally 'Keyblade'/ χ-Blade. I wish that the Big Hero 6 world was a bit longer and had more stuff to do in its giant map. Compared to the Caribbean there is very little to find and do I think which sucks. Still I love it's inclusion all the same, Baymax is a treasure😭
I don't like the Dark Baymax fight... It just changes the game play with little warning and you only have one way to heal which isn't always reliable... Good to see the fight wasn't too bad for you! Also that scene of Hiro destroying the chip does feel a little over dramatic since Hiro can make a new chip.

It's been great to see more of this, I was expecting more Tales of the Abyss so it was a pleasant surprise.

I suppose I can understand not liking it. Aerial fights can be hard to get to grips with and as you said, it limits your ability to heal.
