    If you noticed during the second stage of Saïx’s fight, Roxas takes absolutely no damage at all unlock Sora does and Xion. Not only that but you can actually let him solo Saïx without laying a finger on him. It’s a fun little detail that kinda shows how powerful Roxas is even when he’s just a second party member.
    Also the reunion scene always makes my heart melt. My favorite parts are Axel, I love him trying to make Roxas and Xion smile by bringing up ice cream, I love Roxas smiling when Axel mentions it and the way they both turn to Axel with Roxas now having tears in his eyes, smiling. I love that Axel tried to smile back, tried his best to remain the strong and confident person both Roxas and Xion knew him as but in the end is unable to and his facade cracks and he can’t help but break down, the tears come immediately, he lets himself cry after being strong for so long and he rushes to them and can’t help but hold them close.
    Axel really said “these are my kids and I love them and I finally found them again.” 🥹😭

    I'm not crying, you're crying! Man these scenes still get to me, lol.
    Critical mode is no joke in these fights, and your team members are sadly not much help since they die so quickly in Critical. Except Roxas, at least he has your back, haha. It's kind of refreshing to see Roxas fight Saix. One of the scenes they didn't include in the 358/2 Days movie was when Roxas leaves the Organization, he ends up crossing Saix and ends up fighting him. I kind of wish there was a little banter between Roxas and Saix because of this, but Roxas talking smack to Xemnas will have to do, haha.

    This is my favorite segment of the game, all the cool battles and the Organization's exits~ Long-winded post ahead:
    "Better to die than to be killed" Says Xigbar, the master of manipulating gravity. Was pretty dramatic though!
    (Off-topic but man youtube's new layout, the comments section is so limited now)
    I like how Riku Replica decided to go out on his own terms like than and for selfless reasons, especially since the replicas can be manufactured again later. Namine would have to wait yes, but they could make more. 'The world already has you', and deciding to leave it at that, made it sad but touching.
    Axel/Lea just be the Meta Guy in this game, from calling out the game's plot twists, saying Big Bad capitalized, to his speech to Xemnas. When the game first launched, the sphere-of-lasers thing was so tame and slow it felt like "He just took a lil damage" than a relentless barrage. Wowza the updated version felt ruthless like it should be!
    Sora's main power is the Heart, its less tangible and more of a spiritual thing. Roxas's power is kicking everyone's ass with zero quarter given. He can 100% solo Saix as others have pointed out :D
    Saix's exit was so sad to me :< Yes I know he was a jerkwad for the entirety of the series but still
    Vanitas was also a bit of a jerkwad, but I love how defiant he was to the end. Sora's "You can choose who you are! BUT IT HAS TO BE LIGHT!" though x'D
    'What I am, is darkness' - remember that line 😉
    Seasalt and Wayfinder Trio's having such reuinions 😭
    I remember seeing people theorize about the Guardian being Terra / his heart / etc, it being confirmed was like YEEEEEES to a lot of us :D

    The reunions in this part of the game make me very emotional, I hope you are enjoying it a lot. In the "death" (let's not forget that those who were nobodies will become human again) of each member you can see how the individual cutscene that is played as a farewell gives a small clue to the future of those characters when they become human again. I hope that in the future of the saga they delve more into their stories, especially those linked to Union Cross.

    I just love those fight ! My favorite is the Terranort/Vanitas fight. The return of Terra as to be one of my favorite scene of this game 😊
    Luxord we don't know what he did exactly but we know that it will be important in the future.
    For Repliku he is dead. He sacrifice himself to protect Naminé, in the end he really did that promise.
    For why Xion is here it will be explain in the DLC, basically all the tiny question like that left in the game after you finish it will be explain in it.

  • @ericaransford9770

    There's a lot of things we don't know about Luxord yet.....like, really pretty much anything aside from him enjoying games. I'm curious to see why he seemed so helpful there at the end.
    Aww, Marluxia remembered his sister! Man, imagine how different some of these events would've gone had he recalled her all this time!
    You might not've meant to use it, but it worked incredibly well. Even Larxene cannot withstand the power of cute animals.
    Xigbar is awfully confident in his supposed ability to wield a Keyblade.
    "Why did he do that?!".........Do you remember what Xigbar's abilities are?
    Nah, that wasn't OG Riku at all. They pulled Repliku from his time at Castle Oblivion instead of Riku.
    "Do NOT tell me that's Xion!" Ok....should I tell you it's the pope?
    Ahh, the reunion scenes! I love these so much, even if they make me cry....
    If you look closely, you can see Xion's Keyblade shaking when she's pointing it at Lea. Such a great, tiny detail.
    And there's the music kicking in! This is my favorite track in the whole game. It starts with Xion's theme during the cutscenes, then once the fight with Saix begins, combines the pieces used for Roxas and Xion's boss fights to make a new track, titled "Hearts as One."
    There's not really an exact translation of it, but if my understanding is correct, -ran is a very rude suffix to address someone with in Japanese. Xemnas is essentially saying that Lea is so unimportant here that he doesn't even need to consider eliminating him.
    Remember the replica that Demyx dropped off at Radiant Garden? They found a way to put Roxas in there!
    I am SO FRUSTRATED that they did this to Kairi. After all the hype about her finally getting to join the fight and get properly trained as a Keyblade Wielder, they just totally undercut her development as a character. What was the point of it all, Square?!
    "I was jealous." I mean, we all knew that, but still, good on you for coming out with it. (Also what is it about characters dying/disappearing while being held that gets me every time???)
    THE HUG!!!!
    (Ok, this is just over an hour in, so I'm going to make a second one^^; )

    Despite the player doing most of the work I assume Sora is canonically only helping them out while the others do most of the hard fight which is why Sora can continue while they need rest. Otherwise it’d be strange for Sora continue on and on battle after battle without a break.

    37:30 - Repliku sacrificed his own chance at life so Namine could have one. And since he ripped the other Repliku from the vessel to empty it for her the original Riku basically witnessed two of his clones dying during that scene.
    I absolutely hate that this was what they chose to bring the original Repliku back for. He deserves to live as much as anyone else. It's so messed up to me that all of the Soras and Kairis get to live, but Repliku doesn't.

    • @mimiquoi7380
      @mimiquoi7380 2 місяці тому

      Not really. "Dark Riku" was just Repliku from the past. He just return in his own timeline, but the end is the same xD

    • @Momoirokagami
      @Momoirokagami 2 місяці тому

      @@mimiquoi7380 Thanks for pointing out how it only gets worse for Repliku.
      Indeed the one that got ripped from the vessel gets to go back to the days of Chain of Memories and die at the hands of Riku, and indeed if the timeline plays out the same again from there; whatever it is that remains of him will end up in the realm of darkness and eventually join with Riku again, and repeat this cycle of self-deletion by offing yet another version of himself so Namine can have a vessel, only for that version of him to return to whence it came from and keep things looping.
      Someone, anyone, break this cycle! Please. He deserves so much better!

      @@MomoirokagamiTechnically, Repliku only exists because of Vexen though. His own identity is a near carbon copy of Riku from KH1 but with Namine replacing Kairi. Roxas and Namine are actual nobodies who are different from their counterparts (Sora and Kairi). Same thing with Vanitas and Ventus or Xehanort, Xemnas, and Ansem. Even though they spawn from someone, they aren’t actually the same person and don’t have the same thoughts. Repliku is almost an exact parallel with the actual Riku. Repliku gets jealous of Sora because of Namine (much like Riku in KH1 with Kairi). He then has an identity crisis and tries to take Zexion’s power (much like with Riku and Maleficent in KH1). He then redeems himself by protecting Namine from Marluxia (much like what Riku does after Sora brings Kairi back). He then accepts peace with who he is but also is ashamed of himself (much like Riku after he “dies” in KH1). Even if Repliku did live, he’d just be a straight carbon copy of Riku (looks, experience, personality etc.). Roxas and Namine have distinct personalities and characteristics that differ from Sora and Kairi

    • @Momoirokagami
      @Momoirokagami Місяць тому

      @@tylersprouse6861 Even though their journey follows a similar trajectory Repliku's experiences during it are still not the exact same as Riku's. He's also very much distinct from Riku in that nobody ever modified Riku's memories during his journey.
      It's a vague thing so it tends to go over peoples heads, but there is actually a distinct difference to what Repliku's like before Namine changes his memories and what he's like after she does. Speaking of things that go over peoples heads, she lets him walk away after telling him she can't do anything to help him when it comes to his memories only to tell Sora seconds after he's left the room that she doesn't actually erase memories just take them apart and rearrange them.
      She essentially chose not to help Repliku which for me makes the fact he got brought back just to sacrifice himself for her sake even worse. She legit cared nothing for him, and he offs himself for her.
      He also regardless of being so much like Riku still deserves the opportunity to be his own person.
      From getting new clothes to colored contacts and hair dye the physical changes part of the equation is quite easy. The experiences as I said before are different despite being put on the same trajectory as Riku and that would only continue to happen if he actually got a chance to exist away from people who would just use him as a substitute for Riku.
      PS: Opening your comment with "Repliku technically only exists because of Vexen." doesn't help whatever point you're trying to make. Xion also exists because of Vexen's experiments. The difference with her lies in that she was actually given a chance to become her own person in 358/2 Days.

    Of course it would be these two. Similar to Riku's fight against whom he thought was his past self, this is in many ways a fight with their own personal demons and the challenges they failed to overcome years ago. (The fight with Lea, Xion, and Saix is also personal, but in a way that feels different.)
    A tip for surviving those AOEs in the future, because there will be more: Ariel gives you lots of I-frames. LOTS.
    Nope, Sora had no idea what Vanitas looked like. (And once again I am struggling to take an interaction between these two seriously due to the image in my head of the Poor VA going back and forth between them. I know that's not how it actually works, but....XD ) I do like that we seem to have finally gotten a conversation between Ventus and Vanitas where the latter is not mocking or belittling the former, but responding with some calm sincerity and asking for acceptance.
    I love the music building as Terra-Nort throws them around with the chains, followed by the total drop for Ventus to speak. Chills every time!
    Yupp! All this time, that Guardian has been Terra! (Believe it or not, that is NOT the biggest identity reveal in this game. Just you wait!) There had been some speculation about it up to this point, but I think for me the thing that made me start wondering was in Dream Drop Distance. At the end of Riku's fight with Ansem, there's a moment where the Guardian floats there and then slowly reaches out towards Riku. Riku holds his Keyblade out in front of him in response, not in an attack stance, just horizontally across his body. The Guardian pulls his arm back, and after a few more seconds, vanishes. It was....not a weird interaction, but it was one that stuck out in my brain because it was the first time we saw the Guardian doing anything independent of Ansem.
    Aww, more tears......Not that they're undeserved- these three have been separated in the games for basically the same amount of time as the gap between the release of BBS and KH3!

    So I’m guessing that dark guardian Ansem was controlling was terra heartless all along and since his body was taken by Xehanort no nobody was created that’s my theory anyway

    • @Momoirokagami
      @Momoirokagami 2 місяці тому

      That's more accurate than you think. The Japanese name for the Guardian is "Ushiro no Shounen" which means "The Boy on the Back" or "The Boy Behind" when translated to English.

    • @mimiquoi7380
      @mimiquoi7380 2 місяці тому

      We had a official explanation for that !
      The Guardian is not Terra's Heartleass it's a creature that was created to trap Terra's Heart inside of him.
      We can see some hint of that in KH Dream Drop Distance after the Ansem fight.
      During the time when Xehanort was the apprentice of Ansem, Terra's hearts switched between his body and his Guardian but was in the end trapped inside the Heartless. In the end when the Guardian see "his friend" in a deadly situation Terra's Hearts wake up and finally gain the control of the Guardian and of his body.

    "Roxas is tough as hell." you say. Yes, he has the sort of AI that Riku and Aqua should've had.

    • @aguywithgames3135
      @aguywithgames3135 2 місяці тому

      Not AI, he’s just completely invulnerable, which says a lot about how good party members could be if they didn’t die all the time.

    • @Momoirokagami
      @Momoirokagami 2 місяці тому

      @@aguywithgames3135If it isn't down to his AI and he's only that good because of his invulnerability compared to the rest then it speaks of bad AI for the game as a whole. If you have to make allies invulnerable to make them good that's not a good thing.
      You might be onto something with pointing out that what sets him apart is that he's invulnerable where the rest aren't, but what you're onto isn't a compliment to the game if it's actually the case.
