My guess is the frame-rate & resolution the game's set up to play in. Especially in a world like Arendelle which has weather effects that are probably very taxing on the console's hardware and the like by themselves in addition to everything else going on.
@@Momoirokagami I think you're right about the weather effects. The playback was lagging the whole time Sora was making his way through the wind behind those boulders. It happened again with the boss fight when there were a lot of elements on screen.
I think the lack of coat is still the thing about the frozen world that bothers me most, like you can't go out in weather like that without a coat, you'll get frostbite, especially when you consider how unused to weather like this Sora is due to being an islander. I'm surprised that he can move at all, cold like that can make your limbs feel numb and his jacket doesn't even have long sleeves. Basically someone give him a coat please he's gonna get sick

Fun Fact: The original premise of the movie Frozen was going to have Elsa become a villain, an evil Snow Queen. Obviously, this was changed to the successful movie we all know. It's theorized some of designs and assets for KH3 were in creation while the movie was being developed. One of the reasons being the ice labrynth that Larxene traps you in. Regardless, Square-Enix would have had to change everything up to match up with the film changing. Game Theory and other channels have gone into detail with this if you're interested in knowing more. You are correct in that Larxene, Marluxia, Demyx, and Luxord would have returned as normal people after KH2, but we obviously see that they're Nobodies again here. As far as why they returned and how they are Nobodies, I'll let you come up with ideas of your own as you continue to progress with the series. Xemnas sure has an ominous reason of his own.
That would have been a fascinating spin on the story with a new villain for Disney but, I can understand why they did. I'm missing big pieces of the picture with regards to the new Organization. I'm anxious to learn more.
KH3 wasn't really far enough along in development to have to change anything along with the movie. The big changes seem to be the Heartless boss coming from Hans instead of Elsa's despair in that moment, and the Labyrinth's placement. Neither of which need the movie's plot to be different from what it is.
Regarding the last scene, those who have decided to join the new organization have had to discard their human form to become nobodies again. That's why the bad guys are nobody and the good guys keep their original name as humans (like Ienzo). This has already been said, so it's not a spoiler. As for the ancient Keyblade legacy they talk about, you'll have to wait a little longer.

You can really tell how excited the designers were to work on this part of the game, looking at all the little touches they added (Even going so far as to use Sora's opening cutscene model during this final cutscene!). I hope someday they do give us an explanation on that. No, those Nobodies that look like they're in white pajamas are just the basic Dusks- the Nobody equivalent of the Shadow Heartless. The Nobodies under Roxas's command were they Samurai, and they have swords. Yupp, now you've got Marshmallow! Bet you didn't expect this guy to join your party! The former six Princesses of Heart, plus the six new Princesses of Heart, plus Kairi equals.....godsdammit, Nomura. Hey, it's this guy! And this guy! Why is Xigbar the one so insistent on this box? So, part of this reveal was back in the Union X stuff you watched some time ago- Marluxia and Larxene (Lauriam and Elrena, respectively) were revealed to be ancient Keyblade wielders coming from the time of the Master of Masters, and knew Ven from back then as well. Lauriam's sister, Strelitzia, had been killed, though at the point you stopped watching, I believe the killer had not been revealed. The reveal about Demyx and Luxord is completely new info to KH3, though. That is....kind of the San Francisco (Golden Gate) bridge. Technically, the name of the city that movie takes place in is 'San Fransokyo'. Any ideas? ;) I don't think it's specifically explained, but the implication I got from the end of re:coded/DDD was that Xigbar and Young Xehanort decided who was a good fit, and then went out and turned all the former Organization members who had been restored back into Nobodies if they wanted them back as members.
I be behind but the reason that super attack popped up on that Wolf boss is a play on a mechanic throughout the game. Basically, when you hit enemies enough, you'll see arrows pop up above the command menu. When you get enough, you get a super move like the super spells or friend combo attacks you keep getting seemingly randomly. So basically, a core tenant of this game's battle mechanics is getting a random super move every few hits you get, you can keep track by looking at the arrows above the command menu, and this boss had a gimmick where you needed to do so before a timer ran out to get a super move to save your life. If that makes sense. Anyway, I second watching Big Hero Six before going to that world if you can, it's a lot like the Monsters Inc or Toy Story worlds in that it's a sequel to the movie. Frozen and Tangled kinda had weird structures due to executive mandates from disney not allowing Sora, Donald and Goofy from interacting too much with the plot, so that's why you keep getting separated from the main characters. Tangled at least has more exotic locations than all the ice in Frozen though. But the Pixar movies certainly benefited from being able to mostly due their own thing and are thus better received.

When you get enough, you get a super move like the super spells or friend combo attacks you keep getting seemingly randomly.
