why didn't you go with tubeless tires? tubes are a fatal flaw on this type of vehicle. The torque of the motor causes friction between the tube and the inside of the tire.
riders are going to get flats from the tube abrasion alone and are going to get stuck miles from home with no easy way to replace the tube. this is a common problem for electric scooters. i'm surprised this wasn't considered before release...

Specs compare to 800-900 scooters. This thing is slow for a high end scooter.

The price seems a bit expensive although the range seems really good as does the design and build quality. The top speed doesn’t seem quite fast enough though for me, same top speed as the Boosted Stealth, but has a chassis and tires that could frankly handle a faster speed. I'll still buy though.
I wouldn't trust the average scooter rider going over 20mph, let alone 24mph. Some cities ban rental scooters to 5mph, so be happy I guess...

they banned it from my day job and kept explaining to them its not a hoover board and website information everything - they said no i said oh well i resign from the company they said really i said yes gave my 2 weeks and left - i love my eco rides seriously

The Ninebot ES MAX mileage is nearly twice the range of the Boosted Rev. So I think I favor range for now, though I do want speed!
For 500,- you can buy a scooter for 2 people and you can have much more fun.. Almost 2K is just ridiculous..
On my boosted board 2000w it can go up super step hills. Will this 1600w scooter do it to it says 25grade hill on the site. My EcoReco L5 cant do steep hills but i think its a 250w motor peaking at 750w. But its rated for 25%grade as well.
Surely 1600w can do it the mini is a 1000w and its sort of does it.

Boosted has 1 BIG PROBLEM: Its amazing that you care about reliability, but it at least needs to go 40mph with a minimum of 60 miles of range and have different trims with more speed and range if you want to compete with DUALTRON!! Because the specs now are terrible, if you want to commute, 22 miles doesn't cut it, same goes with the board. Get the numbers up and I'll consider one!!

For me, Thats too many loose connections to squeak and rattle. Personally I would like a kit to lock the upright bar too so it can't fold but be even more solid.

Is there any Chance that will bring out a Modell for the German Market? Here you need to drossel it down to 20KMH, and need a to approve bei the German Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt to get a permission to insure the Scooter. Its a Pain in the Ass but Germany is a big Market as well.

For 1600 dollars and the reputation this company has I am so incredibly shocked at the performance of speed, weight, lack of suspension, and foldability

When has Boosted never not been a premium brand? There's cheaper options for those who can't afford it, but Boosted isn't that and has never tried to be that for good reasons.

For $1800 I'd rather get two Ninebot ES2s and have a couple hundred bucks left still for an extra battery for both of them.
for 1800$ you can get like 6 ES2's... mine cost me 300$

Not all states. Also, find your local esk8 community and get a petition signed to send to your state's minister for transport. We did that here in SA and managed to get him riding an Exway, which he said he enjoyed. We have the support of him, the Lord Mayoress, the Premier, and several members of the MLC.

@@34Media Definitely illegal in SA, but no one I know of has been fined - only warned. Good news is that with the scooter trial is that the minister for transport, the lord mayoress, and the premier are all on board, as are several of our MLC pollies. According to the minister for transport, the scooters are phase one. Multiple scooter companies are phase two. Private use of personal devices is phase three. Hopefully we'll see a change of laws here by the end of the year!

If this scooter starts to break on people after they have this guy 0:52, I believe that the CEO should stop using Casey to sell his boards. The CEO is getting Casey to Amp up the sales and people are saving up their money to buy these things and when they break, they are struggling to enjoy the experience, for they don't have throw-around money to get them back up and running right away.
The amazon reviews tell the truth and I would like to see this company's CEO on a swinging slipknot if this scooter starts breaking on people.

Every time Casey broke a board and smiled about it, I cringe knowing that the dots are not connecting with the youth. Boosted Board sends Casey tens of thousands of dollars worth of toys that BREAK all the time. Youth don't realize that Casey's Smile is protected by tons of money and there is no way to enjoy this board without lots of it.

These guys are not professional at all. They lied to me saying they had a Mini X XR battery. They got me to pay and everything, and then the next day told me they will send the battery when they get it in stock. I asked for a refund and am being ignored.

I really don’t recommend boosted. I found it to be a bad company since i bought a boosted board and now that the battery is fucked they dont sell anymore battery. So dumb that they don’t support their first customer and at the end all they want is your money. Please stay away from them!

300W scooter hacked to 1500? Sounds like solution that will not only void the warranty but cause longevity problems. It has a max rider weight 30 pounds less than the Rev, Charging time is 9 hours vs. the Revs 3 hours. Range is good though. Not a scooter would want for my use. My commute is only 4 miles. don't need 27 mile range for the rest of its shortcoming..
@@germanicus7880 Not hacked. That engine of scooter does not have limit of 300W. It works by default with peek power of 600W. You can easily modify it to accept 1100W peek power. I ride with such setting and it works brilliant. Super power, not much battery consumption. Most people do what I did. Custom firmware upload.
