yea I flew with mine too, but I shipped the battery to be safe.. But I will say I have flown all over the world with my V2 Dual Plus and they have never looked at the WH of the battery when I carried it on and removed it from the board...
Take the Battery out, And have it in your bag or something (Make it separate)

Thanks for the review but I still don't know. I mean I've had the V2 XR for a long time now and I like the speed and range (12 to 14 miles or whatever the heck it actually is), but I like the smaller form factor of the Mini S - especially since it can board planes. Still a hard decision to make. The only thing that has similar specs to the Mini X is the WowGo 2S mini, but that's from China I'm not sure if I'll trust that purchase in the long run.
Great video! One thing you missed though: what is the range on the S and X if you change the wheels to these new orangatang Caguama?

Please please please could someone detail how I swap the Caguamas for the stock wheels? I talked to a boosted customer service rep and they said there’s only about a 2% chance I can change out the interior part without breaking it!

So of course they would say that, all u do is take out the wheel drive gear, ( pulley) and u put it in the caguamas and use a hammer and a wooden block and hammer the gear gently into the new wheels

This is my personal opinion you can’t get a long board that’s electric noware near as good as a boosted board but there is a lot of skateboards that are electric that are still very good I Bought a boosted board stealth and a zinc Gyro electric cruiser which goes tops of 12 mph and has a 3 charging time and three hours of riding time for only 150 UK pounds another alternative if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on two Boosted boards is get them secondhand you can get a Boosted board stealth for about 800 UK pounds secondhand and a mini X for about £700 and if that still pricey a dual plus can be cheaper for 650 at least and a mini S can be about £400-£500

Huh? Bamboo GTR=$1200 so that’s closer to double your estimated cost difference plus it’s a 38”, 25 lb all terrain longboard so it’s apples to oranges.

Rykahnz it honestly depends on how the tsa agent feels sometimes like some will let it through and some take it even if it’s under guidelines but it’s less than 100 watts on checked and 100-160 on carry on and it has to be off of your board

The Mini S already had some miles on it! Both are glossy out of the box.

What is so special about boosted?
The controller and the software accelerates and brakes very smooth and consistent. Better than any other board. It’s worth the extra money just for safety alone, but also makes the board a great ride
