  • Discover everything you need to know about the new 2024 Corvette E-Ray. Aaron Link, Global Vehicle Performance Manager and Kirk Bennion, Exterior Design Manager for Corvette present all the details that went into designing and building the quickest #corvette ever. It’s all about first: electrified, all wheel drive, to reach 655hp and to from 0 to 60mph in 2.5 seconds. Supercar speed!
With an 80 cell battery pack, the front axle receives the instant electric torque of 160hp, paired to LT2 V8 engine from the Stingray which produces 495hp.
The AWD system, combined to the standard Michelin Pilot tires (the largest all seasons ever installed on a factory vehicle), has been tested in the most inclement weather to guarantee astounding performances, even on snow. The new #corvette E-Ray standard equipment also includes the aero package, exposed carbon fiber parts, large carbon ceramic Brembo brakes and newly designed 5 spoke wheels.
Thanks to the addition of “Stealth” mode, the two seater can be driven in complete silent propulsion, only through its electric motor, up to 45mph.

why you gotta call it world's first, aarons been asked about stuff before already. the channel would be better without as much hyperbole and if you want to play in the first game you gotta get them out asap it's 2020 you can't sit on material for couple of days for an edit to finish if you want to play in the world's first game, your first look clip was days late too

@@alancrisp1582 look at the viewcount at 30 mins. Its advice, free advice at that. they have access to cool cars and more access to companies than the average youtuber, but people don't want to watch. Its perplexing how low the counts are and i think its due to them flexing their suspenders all the time(while being 3 days late to give this deep dive from the event)
It certainly isn't the quality of the filming or editing etc, its all very high quality. If i were them i sure would be wondering why the heck our giveaway video got 1k views, surely the sponsor was thrilled.
But more to the point the titles a lie at worst and at best not understanding what world first means, both of which appear as the worst kind of suspenders flexing you can do raise yout status in your audiences eyes. People will see this on their sub feeds and not click, the numbers don't lie.

I can appreciate the amount of technology that went into these cars . On the other hand there was a time when simplicity allowed us as car enthusiasts to work and make improvements on our hot rods . That day is gone , unless you buy an additional car of yesteryear to tinker with .

I echo that statement. To work on cars today you need an electrical engineering degree plus the additional special tools needed to maintain the vehicle.

    Electric cars are "Too Quiet"
The 'All Seasons' tires make 'Sound' and is a warning to people that never look where they are going just like the guy on his bicycle that hit you.

If it had the 5.5 liter , I'd take it seriously. It's a flop that will get spanked right out of the box by its direct hybrid competitors . It's fast against some (and I do mean some ) gas only supercars but it's slower than the 911 turbo s and the McLaren Arturo. General motors needs to start paying attention to its competitors . It's as if they're in competition with itself only .
