I definitely wouldn’t say asking if we have a favorite video of yours is self centered. I think the very in depth breakdown videos or the one of trying to get the highest possible level on a boon are some of my favorites
One of my favorite Hades moments was that I got *really* into the game, enough that I was playing it in Discord while waiting on people to join up for other games (like Valorant/CS2/Fortnite) and apparently a lot of my other friends had played Hades once or twice before me but never got too into it, and I inspired them to start playing again. One of my friends who only beat the game once or twice went around and won 3 times in a row with different weapons after I watched him play on Discord and explained some strats and builds to him, super happy for him there :D
My favourite video of yours was probably the blindfold one with your partner, it just made me laugh so hard. Edit: this is completely unrelated but I just thought of it, but it would be cool if Hades 2 added a “sandbox” mode in the endgame where you could customize your boons/hammers etc. just to experiment with builds.
Most hyped Hades moment in general was definitely Angel clearing 64 heat unseeded. I don't even follow them but it was recommended on YT like 15 minutes after it got posted and I couldn't believe it. I don't have a particular favorite video (singular) of yours, but I've loved watching your high heat record attempts (Hestia, briefly Zag Bow, and now Hera). It's so cool to see the progression in strategy and for that big payoff when you finally pulled it off for Hestia (although I'm still mad you did it the ONE DAY I didn't watch after tuning in for a week or two straight lol).
I think out of all your videos I like the most when you are trying something new and it makes you surprised. Like, a silly build you didn't think would work, or just playing for fun like in this video and see how it goes. It expands my horizons and makes me wanna try something new in the game too (def wanna make a run with Hades spear now, even though I am not fond of spear in general). And of course no-hit run where a guy from Supergiant calls you to scold you for hitting yourself in the smallest room in Styx is peak comedy, I adore this video
About a year ago, a friend of mine first recommended Hades to me, and then got me hooked on your videos when I had trouble progressing in the game. I'm not sure if I have a favourite video of yours, but I thoroughly enjoyed them all - you helped me enjoy an already great game even more. Keep up the good work Dan, I can't wait to see you play Hades 2.
I like any video where you have something at stake, when the game gets intense enough that it requires your full attention or you yourself are emotionally invested enough to have a reaction when you almost die, etc.
I really enjoyed you walking us through the 64heat clear with all the mechanics and stuff, and also the blind run. That one was so amazing! But also those afk / revenge runs
Favourite Videos of yours: The one with the Dusty Nuts story. Also, I love rewatching the no hit runs. The Blindfolded run is so awesome too "Moon on a stand" Lol
I love runs from streams and seeing the happiness and relief from finally finishing a run (I do challenge runs for some games in my spare time, maybe not as hard as 58 heat but not easy either)
my favorite video is probably the asshole run, because it's so ridiculous to start off a speedrun with a reddit argument lmao. i also really loved the 5 years of hades. and the old school outros make me happy even though i only found you fairly recently
Hades spear is probably my favorite aspect in the game! Love weapons that revolve around a debuff centric playstyle in games and Hades aspect is so good for that archetype of weapon.
The best roguelikes (or roguelites) that I could recommend to you are Nuclear Throne, Synthetik, and Enter the Gungeon. Most importantly Synthetik, the game is genuinely so much fun, and very rewarding to learn.
I am not watching your videos so much anymore on Hades but I keep subbed as I will watch all your content when Hades 2 comes out. Keep up the good work! Also, will you delve deep into silksong and produce much content on that when it comes out or will you really focus on Hades2?
A good idea would be to make a combat guide. You have guides about the knowledge that hades requires i.e. mirror setup, heat setup, hammers and boons etc. But would love to hear some of the combat tips you might have.
I have reset my savefile regularly because the number of runs you have on a save effects load times (and therefore RTA speedruns). The savefile I use doesn't have that bond for some reason.

My thoughts exactly

fav video: crystal beams runs. fav moment: my 9:08 hera speedrun. that gave me the kind of "I've reached all that I wanted in this game" moment.
My favourite video of yours was probably the blindfold one with your partner, it just made me laugh so hard.

the blindfolded run with Munch is what lured me over to twitch
How did I just realize you sounds just like Tony Hinchcliffe. Can’t unhear this

My favorite video will be the only Hermes run when it inevitably happens

The one with the Dusty Nuts story.

Which video is the asshole run? I need to see it now lol
Took me a minute to understand what you were referring to LOL you must mean where we're discussing an AITA thread that we had just read.
The pause before doing the sweep is when I take a ton of damage, I'll have to try this out again, nice video man.
My favourites are when you go for high heat PR and the trippel weapon runs. I know they're a grind, but man does it show your skill in the game.
I’m a simple enjoyer of your Meme Beam runs. I never bothered with Stygian Soul before and that was my moment of “oh wait, you can do that?” Glorious
I really liked the fresh-file-to-epilogue speedrun. I gather it must have been exhausting for you, but it was a great achievement.
Hades spear is probably my favorite aspect in the game! Love weapons that revolve around a debuff centric playstyle in games and Hades aspect is so good for that archetype of weapon.
One run I think would be funny to see would be a Zag Cast run.
The best roguelikes (or roguelites) that I could recommend to you are Nuclear Throne, Synthetik, and Enter the Gungeon. Most importantly Synthetik, the game is genuinely so much fun, and very rewarding to learn.
I've played them all! Although not much Synthetik and only Gungeon came to YT here. Great games.
my favorite video of yours was either the one about why max heat might be unbeatable or the blindfolded run
Definitely favorite run was supersoaker where you tried to do Hades blindfolded and died at the end
I highly reccomend you try Skul the hero slayer. Very fun roguelike, with a lot of the same run-building complexity as Hades, if not more
We played it quite a bit when it first came out, haven't checked out all of the updates though.

idea for a money hammer for fists: increases move speed
hoarding "swiftness"(?) + zag aspect + lambent plume + rush delivery 😩😩😩
Most of my runs have been done using this aspect. By far my favourite out of all the weapons.
My very first clear years ago was with Hades Spear and Massive Spin.
A good idea would be to make a combat guide.
You have guides about the knowledge that hades requires i.e. mirror setup, heat setup, hammers and boons etc. But would love to hear some of the combat tips you might have.
Hmm... I kind of go over this kind of stuff in my ancient Weapons guides where I talk specifically about each and then each aspect.
I love the speedrun and high heat videos, like the 50+ clears but I get they aren't that fun a lot of the time
i just like when you called the 64 heat run impossible and then someone did it immediately
I recently got back into FTL. Have you ever played that one Haelian?
Only a little way back in the day. Always planned to revisit it eventually.
A Rogue like game I really liked was risk of rain 1/2 both are amazing and lodes to do definitely wont run out of ideas
Hey, the link to the Hades Favorites list have been broken the last few videos so you know.
Are these runs in hell mode? I get a lot of damage per hit from Hades. And I am only on 5 heat. 😮
to be honest, i just really wanna see you pom the shit out of razor shoals and win a run with it mr h.alien
Meme beam runs. All of them!
I just noticed you are missing persephone’s forged bond, why is that?
I have reset my savefile regularly because the number of runs you have on a save effects load times (and therefore RTA speedruns). The savefile I use doesn't have that bond for some reason.
wait do we have a time for hades 2
why don't you have the Persephone relationship maxed?
I've been playing Roboquest a lot lately. Not as much variety as Hades, but it's a pretty fun fps roguelike. Plays a lot like Doom.
Oh. More Hades Aspect. My fav. ❤
Generally I enjoy the unique and gimmicky runs the most
My family really enjoys playing hollow knight. Not sure if you tried it or not. It's fairly basic, but it's fun.
Is this Haelian AI?
