I feel like it's more that the delay between using the special and the damage is so long that standing in it is the only way to hit anything with it when enemy speed is so high. But I guess that just proves how good Eris is.
To justify Seeking Fire, aim assist on KBM really is not always the best idea. It's a trade-off that can be pretty frustrating a lot of the time. Specifically for the rail, having aim assist messes with your Special placement so much, since it always just tries to place it aimed right at the middle of the enemy. That definitely isn't always what you want, particularly on Eris or Lucifer. It's also obnoxious if you pick up Trippy Shot or when you're trying to line up shots with the bow (particularly Rama). But then turning off aim assist makes the rail primary fire incredibly hard to hit, because the attack hitbox is so narrow, and I swear a lot of enemies have kind of jank hitboxes that aim assist fixes. So with Seeking you can keep aim assist "on" while still placing specials where you want them. Very niche, but it is an annoyance. I just wish we could specify more about the aim assist. I'd love to have it disabled for all "area aimed" attacks and abilities, and things like the bow attack and shield bull rush, but on for pretty much everything else.
Jack Black is an excellent voice actor, which is why he played such a good Bowser (only good part of the Mario movie). For Ganondorf, you want someone who can rock full facial makeup and look enormous and realistic at the same time. Josh Brolin would be able to pull it off, he has the range, it's just a matter of whether the studio decides to use makeup and prosthetics or use CGI and ruin it because CGI artists don't have unions. (Seriously, CGI would be so much better if 3D artists were covered by the animator's union. I've seen the limits, they're *beautiful*.)
You actually showed a failed run on UA-cam? I'm surprised and very happy about this. It raises the stakes and makes things more interesting. I like knowing that even though a video is on UA-cam does not mean that you actually won the run. This will increase the tension of future UA-cam videos.
It would be interesting to watch a follow up run of same aspect and mirror but with a classic good build just to really see the difference in power. Or I could just pull up an old one you've done, I'm sure there is something close in the archives.
Zag rail with Spread Fire is something he's done in the past! Aphro attack too even. Pretty good comparison point I'd say, middleman hammer VS something you'd specifically like on Zag rail (the lower ammo is compensated for and then some)
A couple of runs I had with this weapon where I got seeking fire on one run, and the +4 ammo and faster attack on another, but the second hammer only had special boosts. Both were terrible and couldn't beat Thanatos and hard walled at the minotaur & spear guy boss. Without the unlimited ammo upgrade, the other attack ones are shit, but you want to take everything once to unlock the fated list rewards which is what I'm still working on. The main problem with this weapon is you need both hammers on attack or special, if you don't get that then you might as well just die. On the other hand when I did get both rocket fire and cluster bomb, that was my strongest run so far. Also unlimited ammo and attack hits 2 targets with a bajillion Zeus upgrades was pure epic.
As someone not even playing this game with a gamepad, seeing how pad aiming works with grenades is just infuriating. Out of all possible ways to aim by default they have chosen one that makes you miss like 8 out of 10 shots, and then they made it slow as hell to correct said aim. I mean, you have a dude who has been playing this game for years, and even he doesn't bother aiming grenades anymore.
Splash Dash w/ Shoals, Artemis attack, Aphro special and pray for heart rend. Zeus call could be the life insurance paired with Smoldering Air. Sounds far smoother than anything else... Hell, you could even run Demeter Cast with Glare to get a more consistent PS, but you can't get everything, gotta lean into one of the secondary insurance options.
Hermes only would be fascinating though. How much harder does the game get without standard attack, special, and cast boons? Does Hermes only make the broken shackle a viable keepsake for fighting Hades himself or is it the acorn still better? The acorn is probably still better.
For DADoES, the point was that you were part of the dregs of society if you didn't care for an animal. It was also almost as wrong to own more than one animal because you were robbing someone else of the ability to care for an animal as most animals had died out on the planets. It is such a strange book, but definitely worth the read and makes the reader think about disabilities, religion, humanity and much more.
I think the only thing, that could save that build it's getting the legendary boon from Afro and around 3 boon from Chaos on attack as strong as possible, but it's gonna be still bad😅
My daughters are 4 and 2 and I totally concur 😂😂🤦🏾♂️. They demand all of my attention throughout the day and even tho I give it to them it’s never enough 😂🤷🏾♂️
lol that was rough. When I first started playing Hades I actually liked seeking fire because I could just stand behind the pillars and cheese by shooting to the side and still hit dad. I think it was how I got some of my first wins actually. But I’ve since learned there are much better strats heh :)
the aim assist causes problems when you use Lucifer, because it doesn't target the fireballs and tries to lock on enemies so it's much easier to play without aim assist when using lucifer in my opinion
He links the mods usually in the video description, it’s definitely in the Dionysus Video description. If you don’t know how to install Mods, than search on UA-cam. There are a few good tutorials. But you cant unlock it.
I've always enjoyed taking this hammer since it makes it easier for me. Just focus on dodging and getting stronger boons/status effect boons. It's super handy against Dad when he does his fire attack, easy damage
Funny how people often unintentionally try to stand in the special blast because they are so used to playing Eris
I feel like it's more that the delay between using the special and the damage is so long that standing in it is the only way to hit anything with it when enemy speed is so high. But I guess that just proves how good Eris is.
Every time!
The first pom on attack increased it from 94 to 114. That's a 21% increase, more than double the hammer effect's bonus. Oof.
You know it's bad run when you lose to the Thanatos contest
i would like to see an all hermes boon run
0:01 the universe justifying killing my dog after I find a single quarter on the ground

random, but just wanted to thank you for having like normal conversations in your streams and catering to an older crowd

Jury Summons over Damage control was one of the choices to make

"It's time to suffer... perhaps?" is the best intro to a hades video i've ever seen.

The real win with Seeking Fire is that you can play with mouse and keyboard to better aim your special
zag rail is playable. demeter attack with the 10 stack blow up, artemis seeking arrows aphro special for 15% dmg

All the cast videos recently, and the first chaos trip offers you extra cast today.
Splash Dash w/ Shoals, Artemis attack, Aphro special and pray for heart rend.

I didn't seek this video; this video sought me
Here's hoping you pick up Support Fire in this at some point in this video 👀

the flying kick hammer on the fists kinda seeks foes, reccomend trying it sometime :)
Why leave any stone unturned? Give the people Hermes!
Ah yes the famous Dune actor, Timothy Champagne
lol that was rough.
When I first started playing Hades I actually liked seeking fire because I could just stand behind the pillars and cheese by shooting to the side and still hit dad. I think it was how I got some of my first wins actually. But I’ve since learned there are much better strats heh :)
There is not a hollywood actor twink enough to play Link
the aim assist causes problems when you use Lucifer, because it doesn't target the fireballs and tries to lock on enemies so it's much easier to play without aim assist when using lucifer in my opinion
Hehehe. You're basically throwing paper clips
I couldn't hear anything Dan said in this video because he didn't clear his throat at the beginning
Chris Pratt as Tingle, right!? Asa Butterfield as Link.
Charm run? Or simply a delayed shotgun rail run
Maybe Paul Brittany as Ganondorf?
I think zag rail is fine, seeking fire with aphro's attack sucks though
This was one video that was hard to watch. I didn't expect the build to perform as badly as it did
I feel like support fire needs to be in this build also.
Sean Bean as Link
Chris Pratt for Link? No way!
GOB REFERENCE WOOOO
What is the yellow glow shield around the character?
Michael Cera as Link?
Finn Wolfhard for Link or riot
How do you always get a hammer every start? >.
Holy shit. This build blows. Takes you literally four hours to kill a single enemy
Hey, can you teach me how to unlock, sisifus mode, only one god....?
Mods
I don't think you can unlock them
He links the mods usually in the video description, it’s definitely in the Dionysus Video description. If you don’t know how to install Mods, than search on UA-cam. There are a few good tutorials. But you cant unlock it.
And now we know why it's never been attempted, Jesus Christ that was bad
Wow this hammer sucks
Ohh console players dont need to aim lol , that's why he called that hammer bad, on PC is ok I guess dont need to point the click on enemies.
I've always enjoyed taking this hammer since it makes it easier for me. Just focus on dodging and getting stronger boons/status effect boons. It's super handy against Dad when he does his fire attack, easy damage
@@EleeExe yeah you just dash around with right click on all the time lol
@@Todoesmental000 and if you get burst fire, it makes it so much easier too
Were you actually able not to clear your throat in this vid??
As long as I don't say I'm doing an intro LOL
