- A new episode of 'Observations', filmed in glorious 2.7k and rendered in full HD at 1080p/50fps. Join me as I ride through Belfast in gorgeous late summer sunshine on an emergency response ST1100, taking in the sights, things and people I've encountered over the past couple of weeks. Includes footage of the Red Arrows over Newcastle, a run on blues and twos, and some epic filtering past and through Belfast's 'going nowhere' rush-hour traffic. Wonder why I ride? Great video! Just wondering, could the sound on future ones just be turned down a notch maybe? It'd be great to hear the sound of the bike and other things around you a tad more. :)
Watching these makes me do two things, really miss my st1100 (I donated it to Staffs and Shrops blood bikes as their first) and two, get cracking with my RoSPA so I can finally ride for them. I'm currently saving for an RT1200, whioch will be fully marked and equipped just like yours (even though we aren't allowed to use blues and twos - for shows mainly)
Kudos for gifting your bike to Staffs and Shrops Blood Bikes, am sure the gesture was massively appreciated. And good luck with RoSPA, am sure it's only a matter of time.
Cheers Jake. Working on it, but am waiting on an external mic. If you check some of my earlier videos on the bike, all the GoPro picks up at speeds above walking pace is wind noise.
You are the man Antony. I couldn't do this. I'd crash! I ride like a slow coach compared to you. Then I don't have to do anything else on my wee Honda 600 Shadow.

I didn't think blood bikes had exemptions under the RTA to go through red lights and exceed the speed limit?
