    While additional funding to recruit more experienced volunteers is certainly a good idea, it seems like this video discounts the good which is done by Peace Corps Volunteers who are generalists, the benefit of cultural exchange to both host countries and America and the difficulty of recruiting professionals to serve in conditions of hardship.

      Fair. I left the PC early for several reasons. But, what this man is saying is quite true. The training that PC volunteers get isn't adequate to serve their communities too frequently. It is like the blind leading the blind. Some sites are only looking for grant money and don't really care what the volunteer has to say.
      There are a lot of negative issues that get covered up and it is sad.
      It is a complicated issue and your comment certainly isn't wrong. But, there is a lot going on.

    I agree with your point of view! On the contrary side, I would think leaving them alone can be of a greater help ..grin..

    Biggest problem: his major was philosophy and they put him as a public health educator... no wonder why he didn't get much from it, he only had probably 1 biology class. Lol
