Hello there
500 elo in Gothamchess videos:💀🧑🦯🤡
500 elo in my game:🧠💪😎
Even a blind squirrel finds a Nutt if it falls in his lap
@@Dc-kk9bd Exactly, this doesn't make sense
Actually true...
A few days ago a 500 I played against, no joke, had 100% accuracy in middle game. I was so dumbfounded.
same
as a 50 elo player i never knew somebody could be this good
*Impossible,* i thought the limit was 100💀
Dang. You’re almost 3 times higher rated than me
@@shantymansheponly 3 times? Dang you’re good
Damn you are 69 times higher rated than me
LMAO
Move 1: Caro kann
Move 2: Caro kan't
such an underrated comment
Caro kann nicht 😔
Very underated
I love the romance between the two queens, staring each other down from across the battlefield, unwilling to kill each other despite it being strategically optimal
now we know love can bloom on a battlefield
I always laugh at low ELO moves and then do the exact same thing in my own games 😂
Same
aint no way… if u play like this u gotta quit asap 😭😭😭
@@victor_wet_bananas nah I don't play like this...
*I play 10 times worse*
How are the 250 elo players I play against stronger than these 500s?

500 elo chess in GothamChess videos: *championship of blunders *
500 elo chess in real: *opponent mated me in 8*
Two grandmasters playing a game at a level so incredibly high that there is absolutely no way for us normies to even begin to be able to deduce the skills and techniques at display here. Truly a match for the ages.
As a 650 Elo player I wish my opponents were this bad 😢
Same lol
fr, the 700 i play are like some gms or im just trash
Seriously, this seems implausible.
@@mauricios8782probably the latter tbh. The same can be applied to me.
@@mauricios8782when u get to 850 or smth , and u rewatch your games , you’ll know why u stuck at 700
These two players are a demonstration of never let them know your next move.
"Nobody should know my next move, not even myself!"
I'm not even joking, but I couldn't finish this video last weekend because I almost died of laughing. I barely made but what an amazing match was this!
The explanation of 90% of these moves is very simple: The players just don't analyse the whole position. Most 500 players look for a move they think is okay, and just play that move without considering other options. When checking if a move is "okay", they often just look to see if their opponent can capture the piece they moved. If they didn't see a good move or a threat the first time, they won't even look for it on subsequent moves until something brings their attention back to that idea. To be fair, analysing all the available moves is pretty difficult and even much higher rated players will often miss key ideas for the same reason. It's just most common at this lower ELO.
Also I suspect that black genuinely thought the white pawn on h4 guarded the knight on g3 (as if it moved like a black pawn). Probably just forgot that white has the opposite perspective so their pawns guard the other way.
I predicted Black's exact move at 20:08, and then I realised what that says about myself
how, for what reason
We need to know why
@@whatupwhatup4206I would’ve done it to stack it behind the queen or to make additional deterrence to white’s knight.
I predicted almost all of these moves 😭
@@lorefox201 maybe they thought the knight didnt protect the pawn on the edge and wanted to protect it with the rook
No matter how drunk you get Gotham… we’ll always be at your side to take you to rehab

I lost brain cells trying to understand these moves, the two sensational gentlemen made me feel like Magnus
Magnus? i am 487 Elo and i am God right now😂
As a 500 elo chess player I approve this game as a masterpiece in the 500 elo history.
The title truly sent shivers through my spine. It was clearly thought through and the precise number of A’s and H’s was truly breathtaking. The exclamation marks send lightning bolts through my heart at how elegantly crafted they were. Truly a godly 10/10
Edit: Levi, stop changing the title every 3 minutes, I can’t update this comment anymore
Just to let people know, the previous title was 69
Lol
who is levi

21:05 that one I can explain. He thought his bishop was unguarded so he moved it up so it was 'protected' by the queen.
yeah, it was the sensible move for a 500 mind.
….but it’s still attacked by something that’s directly on the next diagonal xDDD
😂 I can't stop laughing
@@Tx66the pawn lol
Jahmal and Shield both mutually agreeing to taking the piss in game to reduce Levy's lifetime
🤣🤣🤣
This felt like they werent even playing each other, like the moves were completely unrelated, as if a parallel universe opened up and the played different games somehow
I like how Levy remembers how to edit when he gets to a sponsored segment and still leaves the entire rest of the video unedited
well it would be kind of tiring making videos on three channels every day and fully editing them all
@@sawyermerkle8835he doesn't make videos every day especially on all channels ☠️
So?
I honestly like his unedited style; makes it so it's purely his delivery and the game itself that carries the video, and it also gives his videos a kinda more comfy vibe
@@elyassidris738 I'm not complaining, I just find it funny how different those sponsored segments are from the rest of his content
Never had laughed so hard on any game, absolute brilliance of blunders
I got into chess as an 800 after pogchamps 3 was announced. 2.5 years of watching your content later, I finally reached 1800 blitz today.
Thank you for all the work you do and everything you put out, entertaining and educational.
We love you Levy ❤
It's one thing to make some beginner blunders. This was like a reverse chess puzzle where you try to find the worst moves.
That rook move for no reason whatsoever was hilarious 😂😂😂 it definitely was to protect the pawn cause he didn't even see that his knight already protects it!
The ROOOOOOK!
I think that he wanted to move his knight but he saw that white’s knight would take the pawn if his knight moved.
Brilliant, just brilliant
It took me out.
I laughed so hard on this
And he sacrifices his *TITLE'S VIRGINITYYYYYY*
This is the best comment ever seriously it’s fucking amazing
This game gave me brain damage emotional damage and almost made me cry. I feel so many emotions at the same time I am truly in shock
This is like watching two blindfolded toddlers trying to beat each other to death with loaded firearms
How many pawns do you want to move in the opening
Black - Yes
How fake do you want it
Yes.
You copied that one
@@Sncedayone I didn't know actually, I just commented it without checking other comments like 15 minutes afterward the video being posted
this was genuinely one of the best low elo games ever displayed on this channel
Plot twist it was actually Martin playing against his kids
this is hands down my favourite series! I love the analogies and humour!
only legends know, he changed the title from '69 elo' to 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
changed again XD
Changed again so he changed the title 4 times in 1 hour
lmao @GothamChess
@@vxibh661bro thinks he knows GothamChess @Mrbeast 💀
He changed it again from "im baning my subscriber for this game" to "Ridiculous 500 elo chess"
Levy's pretty decent at chess. He should definitely do something with that
Decent, but not decent enough to be a GM
I’m 500 and, GOSH, I wish my opponents were this bad.
I say this but I could definitely see myself making these mistakes. Except for just moving pawns all opening.
yeah, this a 100 Elo game, maybe 50
Ikr i haven't seen a queen blunder in so long, It happened once and i was laughing so hard about the ridiculousness of it. Let alone a mate in one blunder
I love how everytime a player made the move the oppositions win percent was increasing. Almost as if they were playing to lose.
Legendary is not enough of a word to describe this
20:06 was the most heartwarming moment in the world.
Gotham, you will always be remembered

This has to be a game between two friends cause anyone that low would just take anything
Love how Levy is always up to date on big sports matches
4:39 he prophably thought he could fork the rook and queen because usually his king is paralysed when he's the one getting attacted
It is funny to see Gotham being absolutely in disbelief when reviewing these kinds of games. It really makes my day. Thanks mate for such amazing and energetic content!
"Mistakes makes u stronger"
Them after the game:💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
I made 91 accuracy at 400 elo because of Levy. Thank him for his work
I went from 2500 to 300 in a day because of him, Thanks Levy!!!
91 accuracy isn’t hard at that level if you just play normally. Usually the opponent plays so bad that you automatically get a better score by taking advantage of their obvious blunders.
@@saucy_dragon1566 that's only true if you're a good player. Someone like me can't see the obvious moves.
I went from 2700 to 100 in an hour, thanks levy!!1111111
@@hamzamo.7180exactly, intermediate players expect 400s to play like 1400s when in fact they are in 400 for a reason
Jamal is an absolute beast.
he is not jamal theres no georgian name like that
its jemal not jamal
😂 love the reactions to the moves. Ive had a stressful day and this is a light in a dark tunnel of a day ❤
I audibly laughed at 3:24, having played the karo khan plenty I would’ve never ever thought to play that 😂
This is amazing and very inspiring, i now want to blunder all my pieces
A wise man once said: “Low elo players are as talented as high elo players because to find the worst possible move every time requires skill”.
Love your rants on low ELO players. Your disbelief in the absurdity of their moves. Priceless.
"Castling by hand" I had not heard that one before! 😆
Love your chess videos you played a massive role in me starting playing chess
so many red brilliant moves in this game for sure
I felt literal physical *pain* while watching this game.
Aside from everything else, I love how White tries to avoid getting hit with a Dove Tail Mate by accidentally stepping into a Swallow's Tail Mate instead! 🤣
Out of one frying pan and into another frying pan!
Im gonna cry HOW ARE THEY THIS GOOD now I know I'll never be able to make it to that cagnus marlsen guys level 😭
14:29 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I almost died laughing, the dramatic presentation, i was seriously waiting for something to happen😂
the funniest part is that most people at that level just spam check but this dude just straight up refused to give a check
I love you levy i love your content. Djokovic vs Alcaraz was completely insane
Gotham is the only man who's clickbate of "69elo" will ever work on me
feels like they could only see the board 6 turns ago when making their move lmaoof
This astonishing game was the first battle of tunnels I've ever seen in my life. Thanks for the feed!
I like how it went from 69 elo chess to AAAAAAAAAHHH
YESS
10:45 I think the purpose behind c4 in my respective 700 elo brain is to put it out then develop the knight to c3. Then white will play moves like b3 and d4...d5 to take center and create pawn structure.
I'm SO glad the move @4:31 was played because in THAT position I see it played almost 95% of the time if not more around the 800-970 range and I been wanting to see it covered. Because in most of the videos where Levy shows this position in rated games over 1k its like NO ONE plays it lol. And I be like I've hardly never played a game where the knight doesn't fork the queen and rook.
seeing Levi trying to make sense of their moves is funny.
20:09 watching this at night and getting scolded by my mother😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Why can't I run into people like this when playing chess lol
*SIXTEEN HUNDRED RATED PLAYER HUNG A PIECE ON MOVE SIX*

The golden times of GothamChess!
Martin is commenting on how stupid these moves are, he feels pretty good about finally being able to do that

Your ytube banner is killing me 💀
Why does levy look so different on your profile
Lol
Gotham may not be pregnant, but he never fails to deliver!
BRO the "if you were born yesterday..." comment made me CACKLE out loud. The ridiculous on-the-fly joke of talking to a 1-day old AND them somehow understanding just SENT me. Props Gotham.
I like to think, that this could never be me, yet I lose the queen, before it’s even humanly possible💀
Ah yes....We watch Gotham 69 elo in incognito only☠️
me everytime after trolling myself : "of course it's my friend's doing"

I died when bro took the bishop instead of the free queen... i cant-🤣🤣🤣
“Chess is hard and we’re all in this together.” 😂
Eval bar: I'll dance dance dance with my hands above my hands
For 90% of this game there was mate in 3 or less for either player. This is unheard of
Levy, I gained 100 elo just by watching you I’m not joking literally my elo from before and after watching you is a difference of 100
Wow crazy difference 🤯🤯
113 -> 213
while using inspect to give these people grandmaster title, he also accidentally removed the minus signs in front of the number showing their elo
The knight sacrifice at the front feels more like a "I saw a video on this opening, let's try it."
I would definitely like to see a complication short on all mate in one “formations” I thought the name dove tail was pretty pretty cool. You could possibly name any that are unnamed
There’s a Wikipedia article with a full list
levy has a "mate patterns you must know" video
Bro played the Caro kan’t
this is one of the funniest videos you put out thank you XD
In conclusion: Levy needs Aspirin, the evaluation bar a new pair of running shoes and the players' elo score matches their combined blunders
Didn't know you followed tennis or at least knew about the slams. That was an amazing match :)
This game caused the heatwave we're getting
Bro Said “Canada, the country, not the *state*.” And thought he could get away with it 💀💀💀
Love Levy. He makes me laugh out loud!! Thank you!
I was 😂 my a$$ off. This is good therapy 😢. You need a video like this every so often. 👏✌️cheers!
As a 900 elo, this game is the stuff of legend 😂
