That game is like watching an 80's horror movie. Everyone watching is yelling nooooooooo!, but they people still walk into the bad situation and end up dead.

I liked this episode of how to lose at chess, because it wasn't the standard fare of both sides just blundering a dozen pieces (although there was a bit of that) it was more big positional mistakes than anything. It makes for a much more entertaining game.
As a 900 elo player, I miss a lot of hanging queens because I just assume that my opponent isn't going to hang their queen, so I don't even bother checking if I can take it

As a 750-800 elo player. Most of my games are good and opponents don't play this bad. Though in a game, I was winning two rooks but i took other one first and forgot that i left my king and got a mate. A W situation to directly getting a mate😐.
