Actually the 2 part power corrections should be 3 part: 1) toward the intended position (eg add power) 2) arresting that corrective motion (arrest the approach) 3) add/ decrease power to maintain the desired position Great video btw!
I simply use fuel flow. As I stabilize behind the tanker, I pay attention to what fuel flow is needed to maintain speed. it doesn't take much for the Viper to accelerate. an Increase of 2-300lbs per hour is all you need to slowly accerlate. usually about 1knot every 7-10 seconds. This way it's easy for me to return to tanking speed and stay in position. Keep in mind as you take on more fuel you will need more fuel flow. Works for me, may not work for others.
100 hours is not a whole lot tbh so don’t get discouraged. It just takes time. Practice formation flying and get really comfortable with your HOTAS sensitivity settings. Good luck!
Bro is there any way you could link all your setup? What does this cost in total, around 3000-4000 euro? Planing to build a 7800X3D/4090 very soon and this would complete my setup. Looks insane, big thumbs up!

Yeah! That’s perhaps an even better way to approach this! Thanks for your input! Love your content!
This video came right on time xD
Only yesterday night, I was struggling with AAR on the Viper.
Awesome, hopefully it helps you out!

I've got 100 hours in the Viper, I still cannot refuel for the life of me.

Bra video! Å morsomt å se Norge representert. Tok det på engelsken! 😅👌🏻
Ler! Viste aldri at dialekten min var så norsk-engelsk før jeg forsøkte meg på VoiceOver… krise😂 men takk!
@@Willdass Neida, den var ganske bra faktisk! Men har gjort det samme selv på en kanal vi har om fridykking. 😅

What's the curvature on your stick? great video btw! Thank you!
Thanks! Appreciate it! I have no curve on my force sensing F-16 stick, just a deadzone of 3 in both axis.
@@Willdass I see. Thank you!
Hey @Willdass, which settings are you using in DCS? any particular changes in Nvidia control panel?
Thanks for some great entertainment!
Hi. What is the fps you get in the VR with this setup ?
FPS is in the top left corner. Almost always 90 at this altitude. Below 3k ft I get 45-60
Is this usable in vtol vr?
No idea, never tried it:/
it is thx@@Willdass
Navy enjoyers: I don't see a problem
