@@Willdass oh ok. The strike eagle cockpit to me looks very similar to the hornet because of the jettison switch, display size and positions, throttle and stick looks and positions lol sorry for the confusion it looks sick asf tho

@@Mr.Telemark CPU kan holde for medium settings, men vil slite litt i multiplayer. Skjermkortet er nok litt for svakt til å få en god opplevelse. Bør minimum ha 10gb minne på skjermkortet. Særlig hvis du vil fly noe annet enn single player med få AI. Så helst 3080 12gb eller bedre. Du bør også ha 32gb ram.

@@gooberminium Varjo Aero. Yeah would always recommend using the cable. You loose a lot of stability when wireless. Also greatly depends on your WiFi connection

@@gooberminium Yeah, I’m very lucky! We live in opposite sides of the country so it’s a great way to keep in touch! We fly more in the winter than summer, perhaps 2times a month on average.

@@stalnox I have considered it, but it would be a downgrade overall. I fly multiple modules in DCS and a lot of them need split throttles. The Super Taurus also have more switches and longer throw than the TM TQS. Ofc I want both, maybe at a later date..

@@thegamemingk4933 a few: -Align your buttons as best as possible with the virtual cockpit. -Put something tactile on some buttons to help you guide your fingers. For example grip tape, rubber covers on switches, custom 3d printed covers etc. This will help you greatly. Check my setup video for inspiration. -Practice.

@@Willdass ohhh, okay. Maybe you could turn them off. If that’s the big thing keeping you from it, you should join the disc and ask! It’s a very customizable game, I’m sure there’s a way to turn it off

I love it! Sure, you need to edit the Pilot Helmet Details texture file in Photoshop or Gimp. I used the latter. There is no textbox so you need to first remove “nickname” and then write your name in a suitable font. Can’t remember exactly the path at the top of my head but I think it’s either in the Core Mods folder or just Mods. The files get rewritten each patch so use a mod manager or keep a backup file.

How much did the whole setup cost?

@@AJTROPICAL Hard to say. Bought most of it on sale and over multiple years, and some of it is not for sale anymore (throttle and VR headset for example). Probably close to 10k USD including the PC.

It quickly becomes muscle memory. Just as typing or playing other PC games without looking at your keyboard
