The FACT that she exposed that one woman for blocking people when they asked for evidence.
Dr. Inna Kanevsky is a true heroine!
@Sound Clouds WHAT THE EFF?!?!?!? LMFAO. I must be misunderstanding you. You're kidding, right? Imagine the scientific process not backing up with actual evidence because "it's lazy". Oh Em Gee, lololololol, you made my day...
Edit: This comment, and the ones that follow, are in reply to another one made by a user named Sound Clouds, whose comment was deleted (out of embarrassment, I would assume) because of all the rational and common sense replies he got mocking a ridiculous argument he made. Just clarifying for people who might misinterpret or misunderstand this and the other comments below.
@@soundclouds1081 claim without evidence is not a good thing dear. every claim must be with evidence
@@Mister.Torres the fact that 4 people liked that comment is sad. It’s not lazy to provide evidence for your “theory” as a “theory” should be BASED on the current evidence, since a theory is supposed to be usable to create hypothesis, that are TESTABLE and that will SUPPORT said theory. Without any support, the theory is basically useless. Also a theory wouldn’t just be correct for you, it would be correct in general because it would explain a specific phenomenon.
So yes, the person should back up their claim, and then others will be able to look at your theory, will look at the supporting evidence and scientific studies, and will judge if the studies are appropriate. Without the evidence, there is no way to see if the claim is true or not. You can’t have each person test each trial...it isn’t feasable, but if instead you can link to the study, then if you are unsure about something, you can look at the studies done and then look for the validity of said study. So it’s not lazy to ask for the evidence but it’s being properly skeptical. What is lazy is not giving it because if someone can’t find it, and you don’t want to give it then it’s most likely not true.
@@soundclouds1081 you are joking right?

WHO would believe that from a some brat about things that takes decades to learn.
We need more people like her in tiktok. Just maybe to prevent some dumb kids who think that taking some random medication is cool trend.
now these types of people who debunk are my fav
"Hips? Hips? Is this supposed to be short for 'hippocampus'? Because it can't be short for 'amygdala', right?"💀💀💀💀💀💀😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

well if we dont have hips does that means we dont have anxiety? 🤣
@@Vi-ry4pi yeah cause I don't but I think I have anxiety lmaooo

We need MORE people like this to counter-balance all the ignorance and common misconceptions that people believe and spread, online.
"If you can't get someone out of your head it's because they can't get you out of there's" - Now that's some galaxy-brained delusion...
so true it almost sounds like an excuse to not get over an ex lmao
that's the ones asking you for your star sign when you date them
right? thats so silly I thought young people were smarter but apparently no lol I used to and still am so skeptical about information on the internet... weird that teenagers would believe it
Thats something I would have believed when I was going through my YA romance novel phase
Sounds like strait up parapsychology
"can we not teach people to be stalkers"

The last dude really said that we store anxiety in our hips 😂😂😂
The “Hips? Hips?” bit absolutely sent me 😅😅

"Did you know how you make a fist can explain a lot about your personality?" no, it's how to tell if you can throw a proper punch or not and if you do #3 you're going to break your thumb. It's like when I was in 2nd grade and how you checked your nails determined how girly or boyish you were, which just like 2nd grade, was childish, dumb, and completely unfounded by science
Best thing is: you can actively change the position of your thumb while making a fist. So according to this test, you will change personality drastically while moving just this one finger.

Tiktokers' reference: random Facebook posts and Google.
Google is just a search engine, scholarly articles are also found on google, I think this point is wrong
@@catmerchant8699 Yes, you are actually right. In this case, I should've said "information from unreliable sites" instead to be specific. 👍

This is so satisfying watching people debunk stupid people
Yes thank you
I'm so grateful Dr.I was my psychology professor back in college. She's one of those rare educators that are truly passionate about the subject she teaches, and I'm glad to see she's still finding ways to educate outside the classrooms
She seems triggered more than anything
What’s her name?
Him: hey did you know we store trauma. Anxiety. Sadness and other emotions on our hips?
Me: *ah yes.... My brain is in my hips*
There are a lot of other people with psychology backgrounds that acknowledge mental health can affect us quite physically though!
im not someone with a background in psychology so idk how accurate this statement is as im paraphrasing my physio therapist but he told me that a lot of traumata are acutally also stored in our organs (other than the brain) because the sudden and high release of hormones etc leaves traces in them.
@@laurenj432 it's already common knowledge that mental and emotional stress can affect our physical health. The question is, is stress and trauma stored in the hips?
@@Sophie-zu7zi that makes sense though. Simple example is how we get palpitations by just thinking of something that terrifies us.
@@kennjt5015 If it wasn’t then yoga teachers and acupuncture therapists would be out of a job. It blows my mind a psychologist would believe that the mind is capable of speeding up certain organs (like the heart) but has absolute no affect on muscle tension. I mean, wow.

You have found a job with no end. You will be doing this forever I think. Thank you for the video. It was very entertaining. These kids are very needy.
As someone who is in the process of getting my bachelor’s degree in experimental psychology this is giving me LIFE

As somebody who has a friend with a psychology degree, please don't do a psychoanalysis on EVERYTHING EVERYONE DOES ALL THE TIME. Sorry for that outburst...I suffer from random outbursts of anger at psychology majors. Peace.
