- This video explains how to convert a Samsung Gas Range from Natural Gas to LP/Propane. This will include pressure regulator conversion to burner, oven and broiler jet change.
The gift that keeps on giving... My wife bought a used Samsung Gas Stove off Facebook Market. It's a different model but similar enough! I was able to order the LP Kit from Amazon and follow your instructions....I just tested it out and found out 3 of the inner knobs are cracked, other than that, ready for pizza🍕🍕🍕
Happy the video helped

Thanks !! Allot more videos like that to come.
Any links to the kit on Amazon?
Thank you so much for this video.
I was trying to find out how to find the bake and broiler orifices but the manufacturer wouldn't tell me....just said to "call service"
Once again...thank you!

Great video pal. Thanks a bunch!
Any time!
Thank you so much for the video, easy step by step DIY! My only question is how did you get the center burner to have a bigger flame, we love our stove but just wish the center flame was bigger
I just checked the size of the hole and used one of the ones I pulled out that was a little bigger. Good luck and thanks for the comment
@@lifeintnchevalier
Brilliant!
Manual says there's a adjuster and you just have to use a flathead screw driver

Awesome, most excellent, just bought this same stove. Seeing it in person was a job well done. Kudos to TENN!
Thank You. Happy I could help.
Nice video. Really complete except you didn't give the jet sizes. I have a NX58M6630SS/AA and in the hurry of doing the oven jets I got them confused. I'm Okay but the stove is confused. My stove is very close to yours. Where do I find the recommended jet size. It would seem that the bake jet should be larger than the broil? Help
Check the card the Jets came on. You should be able to look up the part based on the card number. I will rewatch the video and see if I can help.
Regards
Jack
You are correct, the Broil jet is the smaller jet. Watch the video back, you can see the difference.
Aloha Jack, Therein lays the problem. I bought it off Amazon so the part numbers just aren't there. And the color coding may be on the card but not on the jets themselves as a genuine Samsung product would be.
It looks like the larger one goes to the bake flame? Yes? I'm really looking for a size call out in a spec sheet.
Aloha

Thanks, Because they are off brand I'm just a click uncomfortable with the whole process. But I did save $30 over the Samsung web site. @@lifeintnchevalier

Didn't see you mention changing the oven shut off valve from closed to open?
Was that not a problem?
I would have but it burns clean.
Thanks for the video
Happy to help out.
What size jet did you put on the center burner? And where did you get it ?
The jet that came in the kit from Amazon did not have a big enough flame. I went through the old jets and found one a little bigger and it worked great. Hope this helps
Any suggestions on changing the RF orifice? It is in an awkward position.
A box wrench or a small adjustable should work. I believe it is 8mm
How did you do the dual burner, it’s not the same as the rest of them?
The jet is on the side of the opening towards the back. Small brass nut with a hole in it. You will need a small box wrench. An adjustable May work but you may strip the hex if not real tight. I don’t have the wrenches with me but I would guess around a 6-8mm. Hope this helps
For the larger jet on the center burner, did you resort to the natural gas jet? Would like to know as I’m about to install a very similar Samsung stove. Thanks!
Yes I did
@@lifeintnchevalier thanks for the quick reply. Your video was very informative and helpful.
Where do you find the liquid propane kit?
Lowes and Home Depot have them. They have a kit that will have the nipple that will fit in the stove regulator, flex hose and shutoff valve. When I tested the one in the video, I used a barbaque regulator to connect] to a 20 pound tank and rounded up a few fittings to go from the regulator hose to. the kit I got at Lowes. Hope that helps
Check out my other video, it shows the hose connected to the stove ua-cam.com/video/pUs4dciS910/v-deo.htmlsi=WB36Scy7oGWq1s9F
how do you put the bottum drawer back on i put it on right i think and it goes into the rail right but after i put it i feel as if i can fit my finger on the sides of it im i just being paranoid
I will try and answer this in a future video
Did all that and doesnt work what to do w that little botton swicth beside the regulator
Not sure what switch you are talking about. Could you send me a picture of what your regulator and switch look like?
Its the same you have just beside from under theirs a little flikable swith
What does not work? Do the burners light? The stove should light the burners on both natural gas and lp gas setups. The video try’s to explain how to convert the regulator and burner jets to LP gas. If you explain your issue in more detail, I will try and help.
Regards
Jack
Can you send me a picture of your card of natural gas I had it converted to propane now idk how it goes.
Not sure I understand what you need. I will be happy to help any way I can.
What about the hose connection?
During my trials and repairs I connected the stove to a propane tank with a standard regulator and a standard yellow gas hose from Lowes. Same type of setup I used in Vermont on an old stove to boil my maple syrup.
@@lifeintnchevalier thanks, great video, sir.
Hi, could you please tell me where the foots of the stove go?
They would screw in the bottom of the stove on the corners. There is also an “L” shaped bracket that should bo mounted to the wall behind one of the rear legs. This will prevent the oven from tipping forward if a heavy item is slid out on the oven rack. It could also prevent the oven from tipping over on a child who may sit or step on an open oven door.
Hope this helped
I did all of this, and now it isn't firing... what was the jet kit model #

Hope that helps
Did those stove top replacement keys come with the oven??
Replacement keys ??
I couldn’t one of the top jets :( the biggest one in one of the corners. It was like on the side. Any help
Update got it. Thank you. Really helpfull
Thanks for watching
Can anybody help me I need the hose from the back of the stove to the propane tank but nobody seems to have it
I it is the basic hose, you can buy them at Lowe’s. Can you explain your setup so I have a better idea what your need is?
@@lifeintnchevalier I believe the male piece is ¼ if I’m not mistaken I went to Lowe’s Home Depot and ace they can never help me
The piece in the back of the stove is ¼ and they say they don’t have anything that small
@@lifeintnchevalier it’s the same set up you have
The hose connected to the regulator can be bought at Lowe’s. To go from that hose to the small regulator connection, I had a box of flair fittings that got me down to the size I needed. Lowe’s, Home Depot , and most hardware stores sell flair fittings . Just bring your hose and match them up.
