Fairly good video, but as with most, one very important detail was missed. The minimum flame for the burners was missed. When the burner is turned to low, it will actually only go to medium as it is still set for Natural gas. To finish the job, at each burner, turn it to low, then pull each burner knob off the shaft. There is a very small screw inside the shaft, slowly turn it in till a small minimum flame is reached, the flame is still consistent all the way around. To check it, turn the flame to high, quickly turn it to low and the flame will quickly drop in size but not go out. If it does then increase the minimum flame size slightly. Do the rest of the burners and you will have a full range of flame size, instead of just high to medium. If the stove is near open windows or excessive draft from a range hood, the minimum flame may also need to be increased slightly. If your range has a dual burner, the second screw will be near the first. Read the instruction book in this instance. Enjoy the nice small simmer setting when done.
Thank you very much! Followed your video and successfully converted our gas range oven! In Hawaii we don't have natural gas....don't understand why they don't automatically convert it here! You saved us money! Mahalo! & Aloha!
Once again , another video which is given in plain english! I like the fact that nothing in your videos is ever rushed! I'm putting in a new kitchen and our antique Moffat stove will be replaced by a new gas range....problem is they usually come in natural gas with the LP conversion kit thrown in! You probably just saved me $100 for a tech to come in for half an hour to change it over! Cheers
Kevin Anderson just like you, I have a brand new stove which Is natural gas and will need to be converted to LP. This excellent video will give me the confidence to tackle it.
Excellent Video. Note all Ranges do not have same size burners , also Conversion pkt. Do not provide a Dwg Layout for a Gas Frigidaire, Freestanding Range. It has a color coded Replacement Orvices , but Failed to show Burner color to match. My kit mentioned #316255500- Thanks
just got a job in the morning to install a stove , now am ready to get to work. this video is going to create jobs for me to support my family thanks amillion .
Thank you so much for making this video. The tip to prop up the range to get to the regulator is awesome. I managed to do this change over entirely by myself with your video. Super helpful.
The house has come SO far from this video! So fun to look back! Thanks for producing such useful content, we used this video tonight to switch out the orifices on our new stove!
Thanks man perfect video! The manual is so small cant read or see S**t. Also top tip here do the Broiler top first in case you drop a screw that will fall into the abyss of the lower bake shields. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video. The information and details are not covered in the instruction manual and it gave us hope that we could get our new stove installed. When we bought the stove, we were told there was a propane conversion kit included. We haven't bought a new stove in over 30 years and we were expecting hoses and connectors--ha! ha! Instead there are about 8 or 9 little orifices to be installed by getting in awkward positions. I called Lowe's to find out where the conversion kit was and was told the hoses, etc., were in the oven. Nowhere in the instructions or online is there a listing of the items in the conversion kit. Anyway, this was a very frustrating experience until we found your video. After installing all the orifices, the stabilizer, etc., we found that the burner flame was too high. To fix this you have to disconnect the gas and electricity, stand on your head, take the cap off the regulator, put a small tool inside and tweak until the flame is at the right level. At this point, we decided to call a service person, who could come in a week. It does look pretty in our kitchen, though.........
Thank you Benjamin. We are expecting our Kitchen Aid Dual-Duel range around August 1st and your video has given us the confidence to convert it ourselves (with extreme care). Thanks again!
I dropped a couple of the stovetop ignitors while I was removing them. How do I lift up the rangetop to get them out? It won't matter, but I know that they are in there. ;) GREAT video! Not sure why ANYONE would give it a thumbs down. Jealous maybe? Thanks so much!
I tell u what Benjamin, this vid was very detailed and simple ... now I jus bought a Samsung gas range for outside kitchen so am hoping I do this right ..🤞🤞🤞👍😂 ... jus subbed too
Purchased a Whirlpool range at the beginning of December, and it is missing the 100 orifice for the broiler. You are the only one that I have found that even shows it. I can not find a place to order it any where.
Your'e a pretty handy fella to have around for such a young pup. Great video's appreciate the time you take to do them on such a wide range of topics. All the best in 2018
Thanks again Ben! My subscription to your channel has helped me with many projects. I appreciate your patient and methodical approach to home repairs and upgrades which might require the hiring of a professional ($$$), without your skilled instruction. After watching this video, I had my range converted from NG to LPG in about an hour.
I got a Kitchenaid range gifted to me and need to convert it from propane to natural gas. I had the parts to convert it to NG but I lost them. Would I be able to use all of the burner and oven orifices from my old NG stove or are they model/brand specific?
The orifice to my flame spreader is behind the oven and is exposed. That is rather than being connected to the flame spreader by a pipe, it is just directed towards the opening of the pipe portion of the flame spreader. It hisses now. Is it a hazard?
Hey awesome video I did everything as told and now I just need help with the cylinder connecting Do I just get a gas pipe connector and connect normally or do I need to attach things to the cylinder

Glad you got it figured out! One of my sisters lives in Hawaii. I haven't been but I hear its warmer than Minnesota!
You have good life in Hawaii ♥️ I was in 2015 in Oahu, I live in Montreal Canada
Thanks so much....I was a little nervous but your video made it easy and I saved a $175.00 fee. Woohoo!
Thank you! This video saved me waiting 2-3 weeks for an expensive service call on a brand new Range. Well done.
Outstanding video! I cannot thank you enough for putting this out. You saved me an expensive service call on a brand new stove.

Thanks man perfect video! The manual is so small cant read or see S**t. Also top tip here do the Broiler top first in case you drop a screw that will fall into the abyss of the lower bake shields. Thanks!
The electrical tape on the end of socket worked like a charm.
@Benjamin Sahlstrom Your an absolute GENIUS!!! Thank you for all you do in your continuous help to educate us or rather just me. 😂😂
This is the first one that has changed oven orifice. My stove had top orfices but not oven. Some videos had just adjust oven burners.

Gas co just told me $225 to do this. I think I will have to do it myself.

Good step by step instructions for the stove....got it done!

What about the back of the stove what part do you need for it.
My man. You rock. Thank you for the great video!
Total noob here...do you need to make sure the gas is turned off or the oven is unplugged in order to do this?
Definitely an informative video
Are the stove the same or does each manufacture different parts
What can you do if you cross thread one? How do you fix this?
great info!!! thanks
Did you move that plastic cap to the other side?
I got a Kitchenaid range gifted to me and need to convert it from propane to natural gas. I had the parts to convert it to NG but I lost them. Would I be able to use all of the burner and oven orifices from my old NG stove or are they model/brand specific?

Do I just get a gas pipe connector and connect normally or do I need to attach things to the cylinder
where would I buy the natural gas orifice for inside the oven? I have the same range and im trying to convert LP back to NG
Hey great video!
Where did you get the conversion kit for the top burners, and broil and bake fittings?
Good information
Any idea where I can buy kit to convert back to Natural gas?
Why did you not adjust the airflow after you change the orifices? it has to be done.
Perfecto grasias
What about the rear? where the propane tank is connected.
Thanks. Do you know how to convert Henny Penny conventional oven into a propane oven?
It pretty much requires the same thing. Find the model of the hennn penny and order a conversation kit for it. :)
hey could u give me advice on changing a ng to LP for a Model # JGBP35CEA
1CC
Serial # VZ291360P
Hi , i have eletrolux stove model Ew30gs65gs2 and need to converter to natural gas and have erro F15 can u help me? Thanks

My new house is on utility gas. If I get a stove or a grill & it burns weakly, I may need to run this in reverse.
More light?
Same as Frigidaire?
Question
Your stove has a regulator plus a regulator on the tank and 1 outside house?
Correct j6810
How about you lay the stove on it's back?
You forgot to mention air shutters open
Does the orcas say LP or nat.
Where was the kit at I can’t find mine for the live in me
👍🏼
Is LP, liquid propane?😵
liquefied gases of petroleum, i.e. propane
Nice job. Come over and help me with my Samsung LP conversion. I'm getting to old for this stuff.
You need better lighting dude.
