Great video, excellent info for someone like me that's trying to get it for my jeep.
Have one. After the the bells and whistles wear off with you, you have a screen that's a glare magnet and sound quality has noise that's a pain to deal with.
where are the 1080P and 4k units, even 720P?
Does it include the interface to keep the steering wheel controls?
You said it was updating when you turned it on, from what service is it updating? Cell towers, wifi?
Can you watch UA-cam an does it have a USB port to it
which Subaru mounting kit did you use for this install?
Can the unit have a back up camera attached?

Caught mine on abt for 671$ and bought it immediately. Next day it was back to 900+
So close Alpine.. throw in a good SABRE DAC and I would go buy this today. All feature's with no real SQ behind it. No DSD playback. Curious if it can even play high resolution 24/192 FLAC correctly. Alpine is forgetting to cater to the SQ market.. we aren't as big as we used to be but there is still a lot of us. Sony RSX-GS9 is the ONLY good modern Sound Quality headunit. We need a double din version.
Do you have any idea how to insert the flex cable on the LCD? Because is so difficult
That's super responsive? you ever use a tablet or phone? THAT is super responsive.. this is delayed..
I like this unit concept but the display resolution should be much higher. I’m holding out for whatever generation gets a higher ppi count.
@Abt Electronics: First of all nice video of the install and quick overview. Now onto questions: 1) Can you move the screen forward/back to adjust for different cars and seating position? 2) Is the screen stationary or does it hide away? 3) Any ability to use the storage? when installing with double din dash kit and only taking 1 spot, so the extra spot is storage slot. Hi. I'm going to buy a Nissan Qashqai 2018. I'm not happy with the quality of the infotainment system. My question is that can I buy and install a aftermarket carplay system and still be able to use all the cameras( reverse, front, side) and connect them to the new infotainment system? For example, Alpine halo 9, or kenwood DDX990s ? Thanks.
Does anyone know if this unit supports all around view? You know like when you put it in reverse and it shows you reverse on one side and birds eye view on the other side?
