How much does it move upwards? I have a coffee cup holder right under the radio and I need the screen to move upwards so it doesn't block my coffee cup...

Nobody in their right mind would (should) pay for this dated piece of junk.

What exactly do you mean as updated?
The specs are from 10 years ago and this is supposed to be a flagship product. A 9-inch screen at 800x480 is pathetic and frankly inexcusable with the abundance of affordable high-resolution screens in smartphones and other devices.

You do not need more than that for a car screen. The quality is awesome :)
Perhaps you should consider a smartphone receiver, then you can upgrade away to your hearts content.

9 INCH IS TOO SMALL COMPARES TO TESLA. I LOVE THE TESLA MONITOR. EVERYTHING IS BIG TO READ OR SEE IT MUCH EASILY
No onboard gps have to rely on cellphone and whe. Theres no reception no gps, useless u need an offline gps system

Because it the best operating system, doesn't cost any license fee, so the product can be cheaper, is spyware free unless stuff like that is added later and dependend on how Linux is implemented the user could've much more freedom to customize the system.
android is also free i supposed since it's open source
