I'm so glad I found this. I've been diagnosed with Microscopic Colitis and have a really restricted diet. I watched my weight plummet, and when I asked my GI about gaining a bit of weight, he suggested I work on building muscle mass rather than struggling to add calories. This workout is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much for this.

Thanks Annie! I love this Back to Basics arm workout. It was painful for my shoulders though… I think my shoulders may be trying to freeze up again. Had this painful frozen shoulder issue years ago and they still to this day do not have complete mobility. Great slow moves which are so good for arm muscles when it comes to trying to loosen tight shoulders if we don’t overwork them. Slow with intention, which really tones! ❤❤❤
I love the slower workout. I am 67. Back and shoulder pain keeps me from heavy weights. I have a hard time keeping up when it isn’t so controlled. This is a much easier workout for me. You are gorgeous in red and I’m luvin’ the hair.
I usually use 5, 6, or 8 lb weights but I really struggled to finish this using only 3 lbs! Love the slow and “intentional”! This is a great one for sure - thank you Annie 😄

Definitely want more slow and controlled arms. I really love these light weight 5 minute arm exercises as my coordination and ability to build muscle are effected by cerebral palsy. I have to modify so many of my routines but not these! Thanks Annie!

I’m 67yo and have been doing your workouts with 3 & 5 lb weights every summer. I gained weight over winter and have IT band issues but I can still work out my arms. How can I begin to build muscle and strength? Can I do these workouts twice a day? I will be trying your full body workouts and others for some variety as well! Thanks Annie!
AAhhh, I forget slow seemingly "Basic" workouts like this one, are far more effective for me. I always find myself left with lean, beautifully shaped body parts. Thank you! I will do another, and another....

My upper body workout for tomorrow, yeah more slow pace like this one pls. I love ❤️ your 2 or 3 lbs arm workouts , as much as I tried 8 or 10 lbs nah , that’s just not for me , I end up with a week of pain and recovery ❤️🩹 from my right shoulder .No thank you not worth it . Thank you Annie 😊
