Mine too! I’ve been doing this one video for 2.5 months and even though I have quite a few pounds to lose, my arms look better than they did when I was thinner. It really works and the 5 minutes is so easy to include in my day. Thank you!!
@@trippinondashroomies2474 I did it once a day or every other day and I saw results within a couple weeks. I haven’t done it in almost two weeks (because of severe carpal tunnel pain) and I am already losing the tone which is a bummer but I know once I recover I will quickly restore the muscle tone. It’s the best and quickest arm routine I’ve found!

Agh....Annie, don’t have 2 lb weights, but use my 3 lbs. My arms are absolutely screaming. I do your arm exercises twice a day...morning & night. Need to get these 72 yr old arms firm....no flapping allowed. Many tks!!!!
We’re all quarantined so no excuses ladies and gents! We can do this! UPDATE: It’s been 2 months and IT WORKS!!!! My arms are leaner and the cellulite is slowly fading away. I did this 4 and sometimes 5 times a week and I even slacked off and didn’t do it at all for 2 weeks lol (oops) I still got a ways to go but this is a very very effective and easy workout! Hope we all have a wonderful rest of the year!!
Brooka Danielle when you do the punches with the weights (like she did in the video) you do feel it burn a little on your tummy because of the twisting motion.
I started this two weeks ago. I've done it four times now and I just measured and I've actually lost half an inch off each of my arms already! I was not expecting anything so soon. You are amazing. Thank you so much!!
Thought to myself, “well I don’t have weights at all so I will have to wait until I go to the store and buy some” and then I called myself out. No. No more excuses. Can of cranberry sauce in my left hand, old bottle of Vitamin Water filled with water on the right. No more excuses. Update! I can see lines of definition emerging in my arms. Yay!
I've been doing this with 5lb weights for like 2 weeks now and never able to finish. I finally just got 2lb weighs and was able to do the whole song. I feel so good about it. I'm excited to see my progress. Thank you for the motivation!
I’ve been doing this for nearly a month with 3lb weights usually 5 times a week and I can tell a difference! Definitely recommend this work out to use in your routine!

So for anyone wondering about how effective it is (or is for me at least): I've been doing this workout with 1 kg weights for 8 days (on 3 days twice so 11 workouts in total) now. At the first day I could barely do 2 min of this workout. Then everyday it got a tiny bit better. After like 6 days I could do 3.30 min and today i finished the whole thing!! I mean i still struggle a lot, but I didn't lower my arms and kept going! It really amazes me how fast I got better at it. I will keep doing this workout and hope to see some progress on my arms soon. :)
I'm 63. Broke my back 2 years ago and haven't really worked out since then. Ready to get fit again. I have rheumatoid arthritis. I tried this without weights and about the 4th time, I got all the way through it. I'm pumped! Going to try 1# weights. Annie, you are adorable. Thank you!

I agree with you 100%, Julie! I just came across Annie Taylor's workout videos about a month ago now, and it's hard, but it gets easier every time I do it. Not only that, but I can do 3-pound weights for this arm workout now, and I am so happy and proud of myself because I started out with 2-pound weights first, and now I can do 3-pound weights. This Annie woman is truly amazing, and I love her positive vibes and how she communicates to her viewers, you're absolutely right she makes you feel so pumped up and motivated. I have never found workout videos like this before, and she also helps a lot with her positive words and her straight-up attitude during her videos. I love Annie Taylor, she rocks, and thank the lord for her. Just amazing! I love it!! :) :) & you definitely will see and get the results you've always wanted. Her leg and abs workouts are killer too. :)
I started mine today. I'm going for every other day for a month. I'm 64 so don't think I'll see results, but I need to get healthy. I started with 2lb and will work it up to 3 lbs and hopefully get to where you are.
Although this video was 5 years ago.. I started working on myself so so much recently, and I’ve been doing these arm workouts for the past 4 days and I’m already seeing a slight difference, and I can’t express how many times I wanted to rest my arms thru out this workout, it really burns a lot but thank u so much for this amazing video!

I've been waiting for her to reply to my question. So I'll just ask you if that's alright. Seems like you may know by the list you made for everyone :) I have flabby arms as I get older. I mean the flab that hangs underneath the arms if you know what I'm talking about. I would love to fix it so I can wear tank tops again without feeling insecure. Does this exercise help with that part of our arms or does it just target other parts of the arms? I love how this exercise is so fast but I'm sure it's not as easy as it looks lol
Took me 2 and a half weeks but I finally was able to accomplish this without dropping my weights once. I wish there was more tricepe action in this workout, but I can say with absolute certainty that my arms are stronger and more defined within the upper shoulder area. I picked up a laundry basket two days ago and almost threw it across the room. It was heavey too, prolly a good 3 loads of winter gear. This routine works.
I used 3 pound weights because thats all i had, and i played Roxanne in the background... couldnt even get half way through it. the burn is real people! LOVED IT
One thing that REALLY helped me is start with 1 thing. Get comfy with that and add another. I heard someone say "that it is just as important what you take away as it is what you add." That really helped me a ton. Don't give up. You can do this. The journey is the greatest teacher. You are amazing for trying and being honest about the struggle. been doing this for a month (with other workouts)...started at 5lb weights....just graduated to 8lb....my tongue is typing this bc my arms are on the floor, crying....totally couldn't do this without stopping/lowing my arms, but i will do it! Thanks for this video (4 years later...lol)
I did it ALL THE WAY THRU with 2# weights. I broke my wrist a few mos back ..trying to get on my bike..cast has been off for 3 wks. 56 yrs old. I CAN do this regularly. I walked first thing this am. Making LIFESTYLE CHANGES!! Thanks Annie...you ROCK!!
I’ve been doing this workout every day with 3 pound weights (skip one day a week). I started in March and it’s now almost end of April and my arms have transformed. I was so self conscious before. My arms weren’t even that flabby, just a little bit bigger than what I liked. I wanted skinnier arms. This workout got me there. & now that I’ve seen results, it keeps me motivated to keep doing it every day because I know it’s working. I used to have to take breaks in between this video, but I’m getting stronger and I’m able to go longer. I’m so happy I started when I did! I highly recommend starting now so your arms will look nice for summer!!! You won’t regret it.

My honest review for this wo ❣ My sister did this wo and when it's become ez for her, she did the 10mins and then after awhile she did the 15mins, all from Annie's video(different dumbbell vid). KID YOU NOT, her back rolls are gone.. I've been doing this 5mins one for 15days now and yes it's become easier so I'll step it up for the 10mins one. And yes, my back rolls slowly unnoticeable, it still there but now I can confidently wear my fave clothes 🥰 hope I can stick w the routine for a whole month or more

This arm work out has changed my life. Agree totally with the ‘you look thinner’ comments. But the huge plus for me (after doing it for a yr, built up to heavier weights) is I’m so strong! Love this quick arm workout! I do it in the morning before work and then again when I get home. It works! I've only been doing it for two weeks but I can see a difference in my arms.
that's not how it works, you can't spot reduce fat, so either you were eating less and lost fat, or the plusibo effect. also, muscle growth doesen't kick in until at least 4 weeks

I saw your video and I started Monday, Jan.1st 2024. I have flabby arms. I lost 30 pounds with Ozempic, and I am under a phenomenal endocrinologist supervision. I am a diabetic# 2. I've been doing this for 2 months now. I can guarantee it works. I have really thick arms and droopy shoulders. Now the shoulder line is more defined and i have NECK now! and it's really noticable when i wear turtle necks (cant wait for winter)and my arms have a good shape!
@@Dreamskater100 you know how there's this bump on either side of the neck that makes your shoulder droopy and the neck look thick and short; After doing this the neck muscles and the clavicle became prominent while those 'bumps' diaappeared thereby making the neck look longer. As for the double chin, i lost them for a month or so when i did cardio and controlled my diet religiously. Now i've been really busy with exams which means more snacking, so they're back again lol.
Could you please do more of these 5 minute workouts? Maybe a standing one for abs? I have found this so helpful and it's easing me into getting back in shape again :) You're very positive and motivating!

I did it religously for about 6 months then wandered to other videos, came back, wandered off..I still come back to this one , even after doing lots of Annie's other arm work outs. What is so hard about 2 lb weights..DO THIS ONE and find out. I can go up to 3 pound weights but ... 2 lb's are still a killer. Thanks Annie !

Hi! I've been doing this arm workout once a day for the last one and a half weeks and it's already paying off!? I can't believe the difference in my arms already. I ACTUALLY have some definition and I have noticed my biceps actually exist! In just a short period my arms have changed so much. I'm so happy! I'll admit when I first did this it was really tough and I did have to have a break about half way through and then carry on but now I can go all the way through without putting my arms down! So everyone please persevere if you want to see results, it won't take long for them to start to show, I promise! Good luck x
Ive been doing this + 30 mins of stationary cycling and at first i would have to put down my arms a LOT- but- today, I started to realize I was lasting longer doing this workout! I bought a pack of 6 weights, 3 lbs, 5 lbs, and 8 lbs and I'm currently using the 3 lbs.
I've been doing this workout for almost 2 weeks now with 3lbs weights and I'm actually so happy. A top of mine that was kind of tight around the arms now actually fit my arms! I combined this workout with full body exercises and I'm cutting portion sizes but this workout definitely works. Don't give up everyone stay motivated!!!
As a person who can’t do even a single push-up, I did this for the first time (3,5 lbs) and my arms are already done. I will use this routine everyday to see the progress! Thank you!

Day one, I don’t have 2lb weights so I used a couple cans of black beans, one lb each, Lol. Arms very tired at the end and had to put them down a couple times. I’m going to keep it up and get some weights soon. Im 55 and looking forward to more toned arms.

Been doing this almost everyday for 3 weeks 1-3 times a day. The first day, I can barely do the first 2 minutes without putting my arms down. Now I can do the entire 5 minutes without rest (although not as gracefully as Annie lol). Physically, not much difference that I can see, only lost -0.5cm in my arms but as I said, definitely getting stronger!
Holy moly, 2 pound weights have never felt heavier than they did while I followed this workout!!!! 😂 Gonna do this everyday from now on, will update with results in about a month!

If you think this is suitable for seniors you shouldnt be teaching them.Its useless, a muscle endurance exercise for almost exclusively the anterior deltoids,great way to get rotator cuff tendinitis.Its obvious this woman has no exercise physiology education.
I’m 66 and just did the first arm video today. I have been doing my own thing for a very long time on an hit and miss basis. I am going to commit to Annie’s arm workouts for a month 4-5 times a week and see what happens!

I am 69 and my arms were always in good shape I honestly think it was all the vacuuming I did with the heavy vacuum cleaners carrying them up and down the stairs -now I’m using battery powered and my arms are showing the lack of exercise. Im now now 61 ,i was used to all the body building stuff ,but now im really enjoying using my little pink dumbells, its very vigourating and with a great diet we can get in real great shape ,this young lady has great moves....
Five days in and it's the first time I was able to do the V-shaped move without feeling like all my muscles were going to collapse! Today it wasn't until the bloody circles that my arms started crying in pain but I'm really chuffed with the improvement. Hopefully might even be able to make it the whole way in the next couple of days!

I am new to strength training- first time in my life starting from scratch. I went from barely getting through this entire workout with 1 or 2 pound weights, to my first time with FIVE lbs!!! My arms are recovering from injury so I tried this with no weights. Had to rest my arms once about half way through and definitely felt the burn. Can’t wait to build up strength and do this w 2 lb weights 🎉
Brilliant! At 73 with two rotator cuff surgeries I have learned to take things slow and easy and to persevere! I also ordered 1lb weights and will gradually work up to 2lb! Thanks!

Finished 2 weeks yay!!! 😍 I see a very light difference on my arm and shoulder and on my back 😉 I did it 6x a week OMG, this arm workout is nooooo easy! But I love it. My arms are big and my goal is to have it slimmed so I can wear sleeveless!! wish me luck! I will record my first week here Day 1: My arms are definitely burning, it's so painful but guys remember no pain no gain! I took 2 10 sec breaks in between but hopefully won't have to in the next coming days! Day 2: Whoah!! my arms are totally * yeah I can't even explain * but it feels really good. I know the goal is to keep your arms going but I took 2 breaks in the middle again I think 2 5sec or less break. #keepgoing Day 3: It's taking me a long time now before I put my arms down. Believe me I really tried my best not to but I just can't my arms are aching, anyway I only put them down for less than 3 sec during circles, that's sooooo hard 😭 Day 4: Whooh! I tried not lowering my arms during the circles so I lift it up instead. Haha I really can't help but to take some rest y'know it's less than 5 sec anyways huhu can't wait to do all these w/o putting down or lifting my arms up during circles Day 5: Yay!! I was able to manage not to lower my arms but the bad news was I took a rest while doing circles by raising/lifting my arms!!! I just can't whoooh! NZ GIRL: I would recommend doing it with two as it’s done in the video. You’ll *feel* it. They are not terribly expensive at Walmart. I bout two 3lb. weights, between $2 and $3 each. Invest in it if you can 😉 💕 💐
I only have 4lb weights at my house so I used them thinking it would be a breeze and ohhhh...my arms were practically falling off at the end of it. But I finished it and am definitely going to be using it in the future. I also like how literally anyone can do this. I am 17 and I use this and my mum is 47 and she used this as well.

We’re all quarantined so no excuses ladies and gents! We can do this! UPDATE: It’s been 2 months and IT WORKS!!!! My arms are leaner and the cellulite is slowly fading away. I did this 4 and sometimes 5 times a week and I even slacked off and didn’t do it at all for 2 weeks lol (oops) I still got a ways to go but this is a very very effective and easy workout! Hope we all have a wonderful rest of the year!!

So for anyone wondering about how effective it is (or is for me at least):
I've been doing this workout with 1 kg weights for 8 days (on 3 days twice so 11 workouts in total) now. At the first day I could barely do 2 min of this workout. Then everyday it got a tiny bit better. After like 6 days I could do 3.30 min and today i finished the whole thing!!
I mean i still struggle a lot, but I didn't lower my arms and kept going! It really amazes me how fast I got better at it. I will keep doing this workout and hope to see some progress on my arms soon. :)

I agree with you 100%, Julie! I just came across Annie Taylor's workout videos about a month ago now, and it's hard, but it gets easier every time I do it. Not only that, but I can do 3-pound weights for this arm workout now, and I am so happy and proud of myself because I started out with 2-pound weights first, and now I can do 3-pound weights. This Annie woman is truly amazing, and I love her positive vibes and how she communicates to her viewers, you're absolutely right she makes you feel so pumped up and motivated. I have never found workout videos like this before, and she also helps a lot with her positive words and her straight-up attitude during her videos. I love Annie Taylor, she rocks, and thank the lord for her. Just amazing! I love it!! :) :) & you definitely will see and get the results you've always wanted. that's not how it works, muscle growth doesen't kick in for at least 4 weeks. what your seeing is called the plusibo effect.

I have flabby arms as I get older. I mean the flab that hangs underneath the arms if you know what I'm talking about. I would love to fix it so I can wear tank tops again without feeling insecure. Does this exercise help with that part of our arms or does it just target other parts of the arms?

Took me 2 and a half weeks but I finally was able to accomplish this without dropping my weights once. I wish there was more tricepe action in this workout, but I can say with absolute certainty that my arms are stronger and more defined within the upper shoulder area. I picked up a laundry basket two days ago and almost threw it across the room. It was heavey too, prolly a good 3 loads of winter gear. This routine works.

One thing that REALLY helped me is start with 1 thing. Get comfy with that and add another. I heard someone say "that it is just as important what you take away as it is what you add." That really helped me a ton. Don't give up. You can do this. The journey is the greatest teacher. You are amazing for trying and being honest about the struggle. I know the feeling and those triggers seem to always be there. God bless you and stay strong.

I’ve been doing this workout every day with 3 pound weights (skip one day a week). I started in March and it’s now almost end of April and my arms have transformed. I was so self conscious before. My arms weren’t even that flabby, just a little bit bigger than what I liked. I wanted skinnier arms. This workout got me there. & now that I’ve seen results, it keeps me motivated to keep doing it every day because I know it’s working. I used to have to take breaks in between this video, but I’m getting stronger and I’m able to go longer. I’m so happy I started when I did! I highly recommend starting now so your arms will look nice for summer!!! You won’t regret it.

you don't get skinnier arms from arm workouts. If your arms have shrunk, either its from the plusibo effect, or from eating habits.

My sister did this wo and when it's become ez for her, she did the 10mins and then after awhile she did the 15mins, all from Annie's video(different dumbbell vid). KID YOU NOT, her back rolls are gone..
I've been doing this 5mins one for 15days now and yes it's become easier so I'll step it up for the 10mins one. And yes, my back rolls slowly unnoticeable, it still there but now I can confidently wear my fave clothes 🥰 hope I can stick w the routine for a whole month or more

Love this quick arm workout! I do it in the morning before work and then again when I get home. It works! I've only been doing it for two weeks but I can see a difference in my arms.
that's not how it works, you can't spot reduce fat, so either you were eating less and lost fat, or the plusibo effect. also, muscle growth doesen't kick in until at least 4 weeks

I've been doing this for 2 months now. I can guarantee it works. I have really thick arms and droopy shoulders. Now the shoulder line is more defined and i have NECK now! and it's really noticable when i wear turtle necks (cant wait for winter)and my arms have a good shape!

@@Dreamskater100 you know how there's this bump on either side of the neck that makes your shoulder droopy and the neck look thick and short; After doing this the neck muscles and the clavicle became prominent while those 'bumps' diaappeared thereby making the neck look longer. As for the double chin, i lost them for a month or so when i did cardio and controlled my diet religiously. Now i've been really busy with exams which means more snacking, so they're back again lol.

I did it religously for about 6 months then wandered to other videos, came back, wandered off..I still come back to this one , even after doing lots of Annie's other arm work outs. Hi! I've been doing this arm workout once a day for the last one and a half weeks and it's already paying off!? I can't believe the difference in my arms already. I ACTUALLY have some definition and I have noticed my biceps actually exist! In just a short period my arms have changed so much. I'm so happy! I'll admit when I first did this it was really tough and I did have to have a break about half way through and then carry on but now I can go all the way through without putting my arms down! So everyone please persevere if you want to see results, it won't take long for them to start to show, I promise! Good luck x

Ive been doing this + 30 mins of stationary cycling and at first i would have to put down my arms a LOT- but- today, I started to realize I was lasting longer doing this workout! I bought a pack of 6 weights, 3 lbs, 5 lbs, and 8 lbs and I'm currently using the 3 lbs.
I've been doing this workout for almost 2 weeks now with 3lbs weights and I'm actually so happy. A top of mine that was kind of tight around the arms now actually fit my arms! I combined this workout with full body exercises and I'm cutting portion sizes but this workout definitely works. Don't give up everyone stay motivated!!!

Day one, I don’t have 2lb weights so I used a couple cans of black beans, one lb each, Lol. Arms very tired at the end and had to put them down a couple times. I’m going to keep it up and get some weights soon. Im 55 and looking forward to more toned arms.

Been doing this almost everyday for 3 weeks 1-3 times a day. The first day, I can barely do the first 2 minutes without putting my arms down. Now I can do the entire 5 minutes without rest (although not as gracefully as Annie lol). Physically, not much difference that I can see, only lost -0.5cm in my arms but as I said, definitely getting stronger!

If you think this is suitable for seniors you shouldnt be teaching them.Its useless, a muscle endurance exercise for almost exclusively the anterior deltoids,great way to get rotator cuff tendinitis.Its obvious this woman has no exercise physiology education.

Five days in and it's the first time I was able to do the V-shaped move without feeling like all my muscles were going to collapse! Today it wasn't until the bloody circles that my arms started crying in pain but I'm really chuffed with the improvement. Hopefully might even be able to make it the whole way in the next couple of days!
Love this workout. I have auto-immune issues and this one is so good for me. Thank you so much - I can actually lift my 3 pound weights and do this. My arms were burning in the first two minutes. Used to be a body-builder, but I had health issues and now I'm rehabing myself back to health. Thank you!!

I am new to strength training- first time in my life starting from scratch. I went from barely getting through this entire workout with 1 or 2 pound weights, to my first time with FIVE lbs!!! Started 3 months ago but I progressed slowly and gave myself time. And my arms have definition I’ve never seen and look freaking amazing! Love this video so much thanks Annie!! 🌸🌸🌸
Nice... I am going to try and do it 5 out of 7 days. I never thought 2 pds would be so tough. I think I'm going to go buy some 1 pd weights and try them 30 days at a time

My arms are recovering from injury so I tried this with no weights. Had to rest my arms once about half way through and definitely felt the burn. Can’t wait to build up strength and do this w 2 lb weights 🎉

Brilliant! At 73 with two rotator cuff surgeries I have learned to take things slow and easy and to persevere! I also ordered 1lb weights and will gradually work up to 2lb! Thanks!

I have been doing this for 5 weeks with a 3 pound weight, everyday and I definitely see huge results. Too bad it’s getting colder here so I can’t wear any sleeveless stuff, so no one can admire my brand new toned arms only I have to appreciate it for now 😝. Thank you very much for this video! Sadly, you can't lose arm fat from arm workouts, so if you're seeing results either its from subconciously eating less, or from the plusibo effect.
@@fortnite.burger what are you saying?? yes you can, if you have flabby arms/excess skin due to weight loss toning will decrease the fat making your arms become toner and small again.
Started out using 3lb dumbbells for a month and upgraded to 5lbs. Doing this video almost everyday. So happy to see results in strength and muscle growth. Thank you!

Day 1: My arms are definitely burning, it's so painful but guys remember no pain no gain! I took 2 10 sec breaks in between but hopefully won't have to in the next coming days!
Day 2: Whoah!! my arms are totally * yeah I can't even explain * but it feels really good. I know the goal is to keep your arms going but I took 2 breaks in the middle again I think 2 5sec or less break. #keepgoing
Day 3: It's taking me a long time now before I put my arms down. Believe me I really tried my best not to but I just can't my arms are aching, anyway I only put them down for less than 3 sec during circles, that's sooooo hard 😭
Day 4: Whooh! I tried not lowering my arms during the circles so I lift it up instead. Haha I really can't help but to take some rest y'know it's less than 5 sec anyways huhu can't wait to do all these w/o putting down or lifting my arms up during circles
Day 5: Yay!! I was able to manage not to lower my arms but the bad news was I took a rest while doing circles by raising/lifting my arms!!! I just can't whoooh!
Day 6: I finally able to manage not to lower my arms!! Yay! I don't see any results yet but I can feel that my arms are a bit stronger now 😍

I am 63 petite, only 8st and pretty much out of condition flab in the usual woman places, Since being diagnosed with breast cancer 5 years ago, chemo, radiotherapy, hormone tablets and bad food choices. 3lb weights and feeling energised and raring to go, yea!!! NZ GIRL: I would recommend doing it with two as it’s done in the video. You’ll *feel* it. They are not terribly expensive at Walmart. I bout two 3lb. weights, between $2 and $3 each. Invest in it if you can 😉 💕 💐
I only have 4lb weights at my house so I used them thinking it would be a breeze and ohhhh...my arms were practically falling off at the end of it. But I finished it and am definitely going to be using it in the future. I also like how literally anyone can do this. I am 17 and I use this and my mum is 47 and she used this as well.
