Abhinav Bhatt think u once again and sorry to bother u again as I m not clear. U meant to say that in d stock rim itself I can go with 120 tyre since d Ktm 390 fork already in place is it?
No. What I mean is I was able to fit a 120 easily because my rim is wider. On the stock rim, you can squeeze in a 120 but it is not advisable at all. And I wouldn't recommend you to get a new rim just for a wider front tyre.
Nice attempt and waiting for final product. However, from safety standpoint, will the USD forks bear the weight of this RE under heavy braking? Hi Russel, I went with a 19 mm piston simply because I couldn't find a 17.5 mm one. I run that on my little 150 cc bike but I suspect it will do just fine on the Interceptor. I don't know how well the 19 works on this bike yet since haven't ridden it hard. I'll make a video on braking once the bike is set up. Cheers

Hey Abhinav, first off I’m really impressed with how the bike has turned out so far.
Now ive been considering to get the adelin units for my interceptor. Im confused on which one im supposed to take. I see that there is a 17.5mm piston bore size and a 19mm piston bore. Im quite not sure which one im supposed to get. Can you let me know on the specifics cos’ i see that u already have chosen the adelin levers. Looking forward to your response.
Cheers!!
Russel
Hi Russel, I went with a 19 mm piston simply because I couldn't find a 17.5 mm one. I run that on my little 150 cc bike but I suspect it will do just fine on the Interceptor. I don't know how well the 19 works on this bike yet since haven't ridden it hard.
I'll make a video on braking once the bike is set up.
Cheers
So ideally would you say that a 17.5mm would work well/good for the twins?? Just curious cos’ im just a click away from buying n when i found out that you’ve had quite a lotta experience on these levers I wanted to get your opinion/verdict :)
I think it should hold up, but to be safe, I'd say go with the 19 mm.
Abhinav Bhatt then 19mm it is!!! U da man Abhinav!! I’ll let you know how it fares. Btw, did these cost u bout 7K?? Cos the price shown to me is about that much ;)
Sure. I think both the clutch lever and the brake lever together were around 7k. AliExpress keeps changing prices, but not by much.
I also noticed the foot peg position change like the one in continental GT. How is the new ergonomics after the change in foot peg position?
Just perfect for my style of riding.
Why don't you go for the new dominar forks....it's more close to the weight of interceptor (around 182...close to 200 than the ktms)
Have already placed an order for them ✌
My interceptor 650 turns off automatically after 60-70kms of riding at around 90-100kmph. Have you ever faced this problem with your bike?
No. I haven't. Raise it with the service centre once. Could it be an electrical problem? Or something with the fuel pump?
@@abhinavbhatt I have contacted the service centre, thanks for the input

Where can i get those forks
Hi @Abhinav Bhatt. what is that handlebar installed on it. where can i get it from?
KTM Duke 390 handlebar. Won't fit the stock upper clamp of the Interceptor
Are you able to arrange Progressive springs. If you have, Please suggest with the link. Thanks Bro!!!
Please reply.
Not yet.
Why not showa forks from the cb300r? I think that they are better suited for the job
Must be expensive. I don't have the budget.
