Extremely Informative and well made Video Bro.... This video will help lot of Interceptor & Continental GT riders.
Sure Neeraj that was my aim as mostly the SVC act dumb and put the blame on riders and their accessories
Please try and spread the video out and let’s inform all those facing issues to try this solution
MumBiker Boy Definitely Bro!
Cheers
Don’t forgot to like the video
MumBiker Boy this is exactly what happened with me, the service Center manager said that “sir ye wobbling nai hota” . They were not ready to accept the issue and just kept telling that I’m imagining it, even after showing them a video !
as a fellow Indian, its nice seeing an Indian video using english language so videos could be viewed by everyone internationally.Nicely pronounced english🔥
Thanks bro yes my first language at home itself is English and people ask me to make vlogs in Hindi but I can’t
Thanks for the support
True
I love seeing a mechanic who uses the scientific method instead of just throwing parts at it or dismissing your observation. Unfortunately I could not understand what he had to say about it. It sounds like the real problem was the steering stem bolt was too tight. Is that correct? Again, thanks for sharing this great video!
Yes actually was too tighht
Lots of videos on 650's but this is most important one every owner should see. Pretty good case study!!
Hey Abhinav thanks for ur kind words and yes I’m trying to send it to a lot of fellow riders
Thank you dude! This was very helpful! And kudos to Raju as well!👍
Yes he is very attentive and knows what’s wrong with the bike immediately
Though I'm not an interceptor owner as yet, I still enjoyed your detailed explanation of the problem and it's resolution. Very kind and compassionate of you to publish this video that is going to benefit a lot of bike owners. God bless. 🙏👍
Arjun thanks a lot for the kind words
I initially thought as well it will help a lot as these issues do come up with a few and why not ease their tension out
It just can't be your issue alone cause I've seen this wobble in continental gt also, so anyone who rides bikes should know something about the weight distribution the company has done on their bikes. I believe this is a mathematical defect by re on the use of front forks. They should've used heavier forks with a usd one. I believe the weight is more on the front end so mathematically the front forks should be able to take the load easily.
Could also be the reason
Royal Enfield should recall all bikes and fix this issue's as soon as possible
Now they have done stiffer in the mew bikes
Very informative video. I too got this with my Interceptor bike and now there is no wobbling. Why don't RE do this greasing before handing it to the customer. I had to pay for greasing and fork oil change.
Great point!
Dude! you ruined such a beautiful bike...don't you feel that you've over done everything in it!!!
Don’t feel it anyways bro
Sooper & very very informative video - Kudos to your great efforts Ryan !!!
Hey AVi thanks brother
Am also facing same issue and RE service Center unable to solve the issues. Thanks for sharing this video and it will help me to show it RE service Center.
Better to get it cheacked
Your video will serve as a case study for many who face this issue...
Yes Rajeshji and will also be a life saver to a few as a fellow rider recently met with a bad accident due to wobbling issues

Awsm video buddy, its a nrml thing but we think its a big issue of tyre n aliment...good wrk done... appriciated..👍👍
Cheers bro it’s not normal as I have a fellow rider who almost lost his life due to this issue
Hence it the best to get it rectified and solve the small problem that can lead to an accident

Great. Thanks for the video, will really help when my bike behaves the same.
Fingers crossed 🤞 hope she doesn’t and h have a pleasant ride always
Had the same issue and RE rectified it as tapet bearing issue. They replaced it and the issue got resolved
Cheers good to know brother
will this issue also causes to new ones??
Such a Informative Video , With Huge Effort Every Rider Should Post Such Kind Of Informative Video So That Fellow Rider Would Get Help And Rectify Before It Cause Major Issue To Bike Or To Rider Life.....Love From Fellow Rider ❤️ Keep it Brother and Heartly Thankfull For sharing with Us.
Thax Zorba
Its the tyre
The stock Pirelli tyres r the culprits.i have changed my front tyre to ceat nd rear to mrf. The issue is completely gone now. I have ridden around 25000 kms with the Pirellies.
I have never oiled or tightened anything, just changed the tyres and wobbling gone
Yes some tyres were the issue n some not
Kudos 2 u.
You r a real soldier Mum Biker Boy. You Don't give up until Mission accomplished.
Cheers brother
You didn't help Raju get the heavy bike out of the narrow shop.😑
😠😠😠
Planning to buy GT Red rooster next month !
This issue exist still ? Can anyone confirm please 🥺
Not anymore
Good info. Any indian company selling local 865cc or 965zz kit? SS is too expensive. Can buy a new bike at the price Ss is selling.
Actually
All well and good .
But what to do about all the head wobbling.
lol....jk.
Much love for my Indian brothers and sisters
Cheers Mark 😂😂😂😂
Nice video with a solution and explained in detail bro 👏🏻👏🏻
Cheer brother please share on to other is any of the groups you might be part of
@@MumBikerBoy yeah bro sure 👍🏻

Bro in my fzs v3 if I go to 80km/hr then I take a hand from the handle bar then then front wheel slightly wobbling it's normal or any problem
Check the T come setting brother

Those stock tires suck. Im from America and it makes me sad to see how poorly people treat there vehicles in other countries.

Great video, very thorough. Sending biker luv from the UK.
Hey Peter thanks bud and thanks for the love from UK

Never faced any such issues with My GT. But yes RE provided me CEAT tyres with the bike, not the Phantoms. It seems that one of the issue is Phantom tyres.
Yes
Yes there are no wobbling issues with the Ceat tyres
Wow that a great change then
True, i didn't have any issues with the new CEAT tyres. 👍
Great ride safe
the wobble is/was being caused due to the shock absorbers if one side of the shocks is softer than the other this will happen.
That’s also a valid reason but in the new bikes this is not the case
Isha motors experience is bad. Speak to Jay the owner of the service center.
Issues solved at the vile Parle branch
Actually when I take delivery of bike there was wobbling they just take out the air of tyres and refills it with hight pressure and wobbling was gone, they told me that tyres was not fit properly so it was wobbling, but when I take out tyre fro installing melvine WAY2SPEED tubless kit, the wobbling again started, they do same thing that takeout air and refills air but this time it is still problem, they are telling that slowly slowly when tyre will fit exactly in rim the wobbling will be gone.
Okkies
Wobbling is always because of weight distribution and how it is mitigated.. I have tested in my GT converted to interceptor... in either case, there was no wobbling. Well, it did wobble while I was converting my bike to tubeless and changed the tires (front & back). But the issue was sorted later when I changed the handlebar mount to that of Interceptor... and also the front tire was changed to Pirelli MT60 which is heavier than stock...
Oh thanks for sharing ur experience
I am glad I stumbled across your video, because I noticed the same problem in a recent 300 km ride and wanted the garage to check it out. I will share your video with them as well. Thanks, bro!
Cheers mate n please share with my Twins 650 platform on FB or WhatsApp to spread the solution
Great and informative video mate.. Loved it
Although not liking the way you customized your bike, specially with the exhaust paint.
Haha it’s not a paint bro by the way
I am facing same issue. Yesterday I saw your video. Then today I am going to showroom, technical parson take one day but finally not fix this issue. Raise complaint to RE. Once get the response then I will go again and try to fix this issue.
Daam
Sorry to her bro but also try n check the front wheel spacer as some riders have also had that replaced and please show them this video so they understand that the entire taper rollers have to be un installed and then put back again after oiling & greasing
@@MumBikerBoy thanks bro, I will explain the same to technical parson and try to fix this. Thanks for your response.

Dude! I just bought my RE Baker Express,I have ridden only 386km and I will be taking it to RE dealer for the first 500km maintenance.I have noticed a strange noise in the front wheel,at first we could think of the brake disc, but a friend had the same problem, the RE replaced the disc but the problem remains. It sounds as if the disc or something is warped.I hope to be lucky enough to solve this issue.Congratulations for the very informative video, I am quite sure it will help many RE owners in the future! God bless you and your family!!a hug from Brazil....!!!!
Hey Marcelo
Thx for the Hugs from that side of the world means a lot
Hope you problem gets resolved asap and make sure they come with a solution and do share it with me as well so incase we have such n issue here it can be addressed

Changing the shit piece of pirelli tyres will release you from the wobbling. Change it with ralco/MRF/ Apollo/ jk..
Haha that didn’t solve the issue then but the process did
@@MumBikerBoy but you are try changing the same Pirelli tyre in the video..so
During the wobbling I had the same stock tyres bro
Amazing works, very informative. Each and every twin owner should watch this. Maybe RE should acknowledge this by now.
They have started acknowledging it as I spoke to the head of Sales as well it’s only that the SVC should know wat the issue is and not just play a blame game
Please do share on groups that ur on and with any twin owner as well
@@MumBikerBoy I'm from a small town in CG and they haven't had experience with the Twins as of now so it is very difficult for me to work with them anyhow I've shared your video with them as well and other twin owner.🙌👍
Cheers brother for the support and thanks for sharing
It didn't solve mine unfortunately 😔
Daam
thanx
Cheers
The first thing should be checked is the steering stem bearings setting, lift the bike up from front, while its on stand, rock it back and forth to check any
play, the handle bar should move freely, there has to be very little drag, the front fork alignment is done by lossening the front axle, rotate the front brake and press the front brake several times, this process, jam and tighten the axle .
Good information brother will keep in mind though n try it in case needed
riderscorner.co.nz/2017/05/09/front-wheel-alignment/,This will be very helpful, this is the procedure and will solve all problems
so the wobbling is completely solved ? did it occur again after you fixed it ??
It never occurred again once’s it was fixed
A few thoughts here...
1. 40 to 80kms or 40 to 60kms is not a "Death wobble" it's just a wobble.
A "Speed wobble" like the one I experienced was at 160 kms/hr. That's due to the cheap Chinese tires on my 1979 Honda CX500.
2. The front end wasn't torqued right from the factory.
3. Grease & oil will do absolutely nothing, if the parts weren't torqued right.
4. It's like Stuart Fli..n said. RE are 90% put together at the factory. The rest is left upto the customer.
It's 2020 & in my opinion that's absolutely unacceptable.
Gott ya
I’ve got a cx500 too, I wouldn’t want to ride it at 160kmh on any tyres! 😱 lol
@@martinowl haha. True. That was my 1st motorcycle in Canada. All my friends had 1000cc motorcycles. Looking back, I may have been the only owner that tested it's limits!
Thank you for making this in English and putting in the work. I've been looking for this solution. Cheers from the States!

Wobble occurs due to cross winds...
this should not happen as the bike is heavy
Bhai khatrnaak wali wobling total intrseptr me h or wo solve bhi ni hoti

Is it the concrete road surface?
No
Mine had a same problem in 80km. Re changed the tyre for free and the difference is moon & sun. Not only there's no wobble but also handling has improved a lot... it's so nimble now. Great video. Cheers

I have the same problem in my jawa 42 exactly as u said between 40 to 60. Will it be the same issue. Initially fork was tightened, then the pokes,. Now I replaced the rear tyre as instructed by the jawa authorized service center. Still the problem persists. Now they are telling to change the front tyre also. Very upset. Having this problem since July 2021. First time iam watching ur video. Very useful and informative. Keep up ur good work.
Thanks brother hope ur bike gets done and ride safe
To be honest it's a failure model it must redefined
Ok good to know
@@MumBikerBoy ❤️
These pirelli tyres are culprit. I saw another Indian guy facing wobble issues on his T120, which comes with same tyres but different profile. He moved to different tyres and it was gone
Yes that was a case with faulty first batch of tyres
So I own an interceptor , i got a problem today on my bike that is when ever i accelerate , the bike moves towards the left or jerks towards the left , and when ever i brake , it jerks or moves slightly towards the right ! By the word 'move' wat I mean to say is it doesn't completely move but makes me feel it wants move and the right fork travels alot ! Wat might be the problem?
Could be the clutch cable
Overtight steering bearings always creates a wobble or wriggle at some speed.
That is because motorcycle steering has to make minute tiny adjustments all the time to keep the bike balanced over the two wheels, if that process is slowed down by a tight head-race the bike becomes less stable.
Sadly with taper-roller bearings it is harder to feel the overtight bearing than it was with ball races.
Wow great input
Could you explain the solution (here in the text answer) ? My english is not very good (I'm brazilian) and I have the same problem in my interceptor. Thanks in advance !
The T cone set has to be greased and also checked properly for installation
I just don’t understand why, if this is an issue, like the greased up relays, the dealers are not taking care of this. Surely RE knows what these issues are and can fix them during production, or get the fox parts to dealers world wide to fix.
True John still customers message me that they r facing this issue
Have u changed the tyes at last??
After 15000kms bro have made a vlog on it

1. Cone settting
2. Tyre issue

Bro why ur bike is so dirty.... And what you did with the engine chrome treatments?
It’s not dirty u will find out what I did to the bike in my previous videos do check them out
My interceptor rear wheel wobbles but at very high speeds (>120kmph, that too only a little bit) , but my front handle doesn't wobble... At all, I'll be installing carbon racing, windshield and handlebar risers let's see if that causes some wobble in the handle... But regarding my rear wheel, My RE service center has told me that, RE will be launching alloy wheels for the twins for around 15k INR, by Feb 21, they said that will eliminate the rear wobble... I hope they do launch... Alloy wheels..
Alloy got nothing to do with wobble
The points explained in the video can solve ur wobbling issue
Mine has gone completely even at higher speeds
Did you had to pay for it.? Are they done underwarrenty.?
Under warranty
The guys at ishna wheels vile parle are not very thorough with solving all the problems , I personally don't have the time to go to them repeatedly to solve issues which are occurring in every other interceptor and GT , but have to say the guys making the job cards are really polite but what's the point
Take my name there n say u know me and meet Raju the mechanic there he knows his work 100%
Pl. Understand my Interceptor doesn't have this problem and so many other also doesn't have this problem, but it is sure that if any bolder/greval come on the way it suddenly imbalanced or loose balance in a very small reason.

Getting the Delivery of My Continental GT 650 today. The Stock Tyres have been changed to Ceat Zoom Cruz F by the company which are clearly a downgrade. After few days of conversations with the customer service they said that the tyres have been changed (Clearly the Advertising of Pirelli Tyres is a misinformation now) and after asking for the compensation for the price difference in price of tyres they said that there would be no compensation as there is no Mandate or promise given by the company to provide Pirelli tyres only. The attitude of the showroom is also quite bad. They said "Lena ho toh bata do nahi toh dusre log wait kar hi rahe hain lene k liye" (New Kind of Dadagiri). So basically if tomorrow they say that now we have changed the chassis also from Harris performance to some local Manufacturer or Bybre Break with something local, while keeping the price of the bike same, we as common consumers won't be able to do a thing. Highly Disappointed with this attitude of the "Highly Esteemed" Bike Manufacturer.
Yes got to know this change from many followers
But Honeslty to say even the Pirelli tyres that we got and not that good on roads hence everyone is changing them after the wear out KMs
N believe me even in our Pirelli tyres the tubes are Ceat so it’s better to have both Ceat now
@@MumBikerBoy I don't have any issue with the tyre itself. The Problem is the Misinformation and the price difference. It should reflect on the price of the Bike
