  • More info on the HART 40 Volt Brushless Attachment-Capable String Trimmer. More to come on the HART 40 volt lineup, be sure and ask me any questions in the comments and I will address them in the future! Quick time version of this will be published as always (and the real time version of a quick time test from several weeks ago will be released soon as well).
    I make these videos (showing it in very tough stuff) so you can get a good gauge for if it will work for your application. I will do a proper review video in the future, but honestly I think it is more transparent to show the machine ACTUALLY doing the work than to just talk about it, which is why you see these kind of videos LONG before any product review from me.
    Whether this is the best electric string trimmer or not isn't for me to say, just showing you how it works so you can make an informed decision.
    This 40 volt string trimmer has a brushless motor, ambidextrous safety, variable throttle, two operating speeds (high/low) and offers the flexibility of attachments that are not yet available for purchase but will be in the future (like hedge trimmer, edger, blower, cultivator, pole saw, and brush cutter!), all powered by one base and all powered by the 40 volt battery platform by HART.
    The products I use: www.amazon.com/shop/coppercre...

Really looking forward to what you have to say about this trimmer. Then I'll go back to being a jacka$$ on other videos. Hoping all is well Bud, Dirty Jersey out!!

    I have never owned a battery operated trimmer until I bought this Hart 40 volt brushless trimmer because my impression was gas trimmers gave you more power and reliability but, I decided to give it a go and I must say the power is there and the convenience of not pulling a cord and not smelling gas made it a no brainer I am impressed and recommend it especially to the elderly it so much easier.

    As my garden isn’t too big I’ve been using various 18 v strimmers for several years and like them a lot . I’m quite impressed with the one that you are using and I may switch to 40 v in the near future .

    Looks capable enough. Especially for home owners. Definitely wouldn't try running one all day as part of a business. Not until batteries come down in price and up in run time anyway. Couple more years and we may be there with the technology. For now, I'll stick with my Stihl gas equipment.

    I'm impressed by the performance. I recently purchased and Ego trimmer and Ego blower to replace my Echo equipment (since I'm just a suburban south Florida homeowner, not a business) and I have to say I'm impressed - the average half acre homeowner doesn't need more than two (maybe 3, depends) batteries to take care of trimming/blowing. Certainly easy to maintain for sporadic use, no replacing fuel lines or adjusting carbs. But - do you see these as commercially viable?

    • @CopperCreekCuts
      @CopperCreekCuts  4 роки тому

      Not sure about the commercially viable. It isn't built to those specs. I have been using it commercially and am happy with it but have seen a few issues I will cover in the review.

    Questions you could answer in a future vlog is, what weight is it with the battery ? and, is it evenly balanced when holding it? if someone does not have much arm or body strength they would not want a machine that is top heavy another question would be battery run time? and after a few sessions do you find the battery still holding charge to keep up with that run time? great vlog once again Brad

    I did recommend that trimmer to a co-worker her b+d battery will on hold a charge and she cannot get a new battery. I recommended hart or kobalt 40v. That take at least 0.080 line . And is a bump feed system .
    I personally use a 2 cycle gas. Trimmer
    Going on 4th season. Works great so far. I guess when it goes I might go 40v.

Twenty some-odd minutes of watching you cut, Had to fast forward... 🤔 It would’ve been more consumer oriented if you told us how the unit performed… (How often you had to bump to let string out, the battery usage and consumption, the power at low versus high, the weight & balance, the noise or decibel level...) Consider these recommendations to update this video

    Brad, do you purposely let your yard grow that long to torture test equipment or is it because you do that all day and the last thing you feel like doing is your own yard😁? Battery power equipment is fine I think for the homeowner, but until a battery can last all day long for someone who has a mowing business it will never be worth the investment. It does seem like it has decent power. Was that one battery?
