  • This is a 40v weed trimmer with a brushless motor. I picked it up at Walmart for $199. The brushless motor and 40v Li-ion battery should last a long time and provide great service.
This is working Great so far. If you have any questions be sure to drop them in the comments.

Thanks for the video. I just bought this trimmer for my first house. My Dad passed away from Covid so he was unable to teach me how to use it. Thank you for helping me figure this out. It means a lot. My Dad never got to see me own a home, which is something he was never able to do, and I'm pretty sad about that, but I know he still sees me and is a proud papa!

THANK YOU! I just picked this and in all the manuals there was no information on how to swap out the various line heads, which was completely infuriating. After watching your video right now totally
    get it.

Looks like a good deal... The plastic blades are awesome. You should get years of good service from this machine... Thank You for the chat...

Thanks for stopping by. I really like this so far. They make pretty much the same one with a brushed motor. It’s a little cheaper but I think this will be a better value.

Thank You so much! The instructions this thing came with did not tell me how to change the heads. My husband put it together and I used it but the blades broke and I needed to put the string on. I couldn't make heads or tails of anything.
Those plastic blades are AWESOME! I did a large area of weeds but found saplings in the mix and destroyed the blades. Ugh! Regret that. But this puppy works great. I don't last as long as the battery but after a rest I am able to get back to it. Thank you for the much needed help!

Thanks for watching and your feedback. I think it’s a really great deal and should last a long time with the brushless motor.
If you can keep the plastic blades away from trees and fences they are really long lasting.

I’m really liking this one. They have the same one with a brushed motor for a little less money but I think it’s worth the money to go brushless.

Top tip for the plastic coil that allways breaks to easy. Use Zip Ties for a much cleaner cut and they last 5 / 10 times longer 👍

I got a replacement head and I'm trying to figure out how to put the line guide on and what bolt to use. Doesn't seem like you use those parts here. Dk why it came with them if I don't need them.

Also, how do I keep the blue spool loader in the whole when I'm putting the head back on? It keeps falling in.

That looks like a really great trimmer.
As for the BB... were you out shooting squirrels or what?!
Good idea not to go out and weed whack without your britches on 😳😆
I do really like the photo collage screen you have going on back there! You even included the hens & chicks!

Thanks about the photos. I got some really cool stuff at the lake I want to try out soon.
I’m really impressed with the trimmer so far. As for the BB Sherry found it somewhere and sat it on the table. I don’t like to shoot BBs, you could put an eye out! 😂
As for the long britches thing, experience is a great teacher.
BTW: I’m planning to start an airgun channel in the north too distant future. I already bought a dozen or so. 😳😃

Love the I have no grip handle , I definitely need that I can’t open jars anymore . So if you use the bump head, it makes the line come out further to cut??

    • @DaviddoesStuff
      @DaviddoesStuff  2 роки тому +1

That crank will come in handy some day. You are correct, you just bump it on the ground and it feeds out more line.

The blue button releases the battery BUT you need to be sure the battery is pushed all the way in before you push the button.
If you pull the battery out and then try to push the button it’s hard to push the button.
Let me know if this helps.

    • @DaviddoesStuff

The only thing I can think of is if the spring isn't properly installed or something is binding up the spool.
The blue piece that you bump on the ground should be sticking out about an inch. If it's not then maybe a little grass or piece of line somehow made it inside the spool.
