New HART 40V Battery String Trimmer Versus Hip-High Weeds (Overgrown Yard, Oddly Satisfying)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 17 лис 2024
- With the HART 40 Volt Brushless Attachment-Capable String Trimmer in tow, lets tackle this overgrown section of yard that the mower can't fit into (and is not suitable for mowing anyways). More to come on the HART 40 volt lineup, be sure and ask me any questions in the comments and I will address them in the future!
This 40 volt string trimmer has a brushless motor, ambidextrous safety, variable throttle, two operating speeds (high/low) and offers the flexibility of attachments that are not yet available for purchase but will be in the future (like hedge trimmer, edger, blower, cultivator, pole saw, and brush cutter!), all powered by one base and all powered by the 40 volt battery platform by HART.

I have watched carpet cleaning, detailing and now lawn mowing...I am satisfied
I am glad to hear it, thanks for giving my channel a shot!
Relateable

i’m glad we all have the same routine. next try drain unclogging, art retouching, or pedicures
Power washing is great
Your reviews of this trimmer, plus my own research, is why I bought one a few months ago...and the hedge trimmer attachment...and the pole saw attachment. Great recommendation, this thing is awesome. For my mid-sized yard with a pond bank and full surround vinyl fencing, it's the perfect machine. The 4.0 Ah battery gives me 2 complete trimming and cutting sessions, each on HI setting lasting around 1 to 1.5 hours. Great reviews and great videos!!!
That battery trimmer laid da smackdown on that lot!! And.. you're 100% correct, the battery stuff is evolving so fast nowadays!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
For the last 18 months I've not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn't like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I'm in my 80's so I can't do much of it myself. Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150' of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.
This was fun. I kept saying....wow, there's a walkway, wow, there's a little patio....and so forth. Good job!
Haha, thanks for watching!
Great job, excellent way to show off the trimmer. Quickest patio instruction I have ever seen.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Plenty people cut grass on UA-cam but it’s something about seeing it sped up that’s so satisfying or maybe it’s the quarantine talking but don’t ever stop !!!
Haha, will do, thanks for the feedback!
I bought one 2 years ago. Very impressive. I love it. Lots of power. Half the weight. Highly recommend
That’s what I like about the Hart weed eater I bought it’s definitely lighter than a gas weed eater you’re arms don’t get tired after using it for awhile.
That is a pretty nice little yard area to let it get that overgrown. Glad you were able to get it back in shape.
I know, I did a renovation on that little pad area months ago when they were going to list the place and it looked perfect!
Your a fast efficient worker Brad! You cleaned that mess up real quick 😉 Anytime you wanna work for us , the job is yours 😎👍
LOL I've got your number! :D ;)
I was pretty skeptical about electrics as well. But my brother let me use his 40v Ryobi string trimmer and that thing gets it done. I was able to do an entire overgrown fence line what was several hundred feet long with it. and it was plowing through some really large stuff, too.
They have progressed leaps and bounds for sure!
I’ve owned Stihl trimmers, but my son also has the 40V Ryobi. I’ve found myself borrowing his more and more because it gets the job done, is much lighter, and faster to use. I’ve only used it for standard trimming, but still rely of the stihl for edging the sidewalks. I’m very impressed with the Ryobi.
@@flyjarrett the main advantage over the gas is that the electric trimmer starts with the press of a button meanwhile with the gas sometimes by the time the machine decides it is gonna start am already tired.
Well damn and they sell Hart brand at Walmart too. As a guy who’s been doing Lawncare for 11 years. I’m impressed by Hart
Yes, easy access at Walmart. Same here, loving the power. More videos to come!
Very therapeutic watching the strumming :) Hi from the UK
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the feedback! :D
Whoa. Electric has come a long way.
Terri 634 no shit
It's going to go a lot further in the future as well
Couldn't agree more!
Agreed I bought an electric string trimmer like 8 years ago. This one looks great I gotta check it out
Maybe we'll have portable nuclear fusion AA Batteries in 50 years at the rate were going.
I love my Stihl battery operated. It is scared of nothing! It cuts everything I've tried it on, including some south Alabama brush! I am with you on this, Brad!
Thanks for the confirmation! The power is there!
Great job! It powered right thru those weeds and tall grass.
Thank you, and agreed! Plenty of power in whatever motor they have in it.
I'm impressed. That thing kicked butt.
Same here, I was very happy with it.
Hands down the trimmer wins. Nice job, and satisfying to watch. 👍😁
I agree! :)
The sound of it starting is also amazing
Does sound neat!
Wow. Damn near perfect. Only reason for the "near" is that I wanted to see you prune that tree. Rotting leaves hanging. Arggghhhhh....just grab it and yank.
Brilliant. Love what you do. 😊😊😊😊😊
surprised you didn't find a car or a bicycle under all those weeds.
Haha, just everything else!
@@CopperCreekCuts i bet the home owner was happy when they got home from work to see them weeds gone
@@snoopysrc hope they weren't expecting Fido to still be in the cage!
@@CopperCreekCuts did you have any run ins with dogs?????
Great job there Brad, will look forward to further reviews on this trimmer.
Thanks 👍 They are coming!
I have an ego trimmer and love it. I am impressed by the HART tools. This was an awesome commercial for them.
Haha, I am glad to hear it! I am a fan of EGO's residential stuff, very powerful.
That works amazingly. Looking forward to see the other equipment.
Coming soon! Thanks for watching!
Man, that yard looks like mine about 10 minutes after I cut it. Freakin Arkansas heat.
Haha, thanks for watching and commenting!
*laughs in Texas*
Just bought me this same product. Had to see a review. Thanks im satisfied
I couldn’t believe the stuff that was underneath that tall weeds. That weed wacker did an awesome job. Looks great 👍🏼👍🏼
It was a mystery grab bag for sure!
Seems like a great product for around the house, not for a commercial use - my own personal opinion. Definitely not a bad product.
Valid feedback, thanks for sharing!
Copper Creek Cuts Lawn Care 👍👍
We are just down the road from you in Jackson County FL and enjoying watching your channel. We are still doing major clearing from Hurricane Michael with Kubota's. What once was forest is now field :D Adapt and overcome.
Always nice to hear from a neighbor! Thanks for watching, stay safe!
Good video. I have no landscaping knowledge and just bought a house. Gonna need to invest in one of these. Thanks!
This qualifies as an oddly satisfying video. And very instructive. Nice job on cement tiles and fences. This proves what a machine should be capable of. Great thx!
This video is hilarious! Every time I thought he was done, another patch of weeds showed up! 😄
Great work on the yard though.
I'm surprised at the power, considering this brand is now available at Walmart.
I'm impressed wow just wow amazing what that trimmer could do
I have a 40V WORX trimmer.. Very satisfied with it
Very glad to hear, thanks for watching!
One of top 3 favorite channels, absolutely satisfying and the yards look great😎, keep up the great work👍.
Thank you so much, very glad to hear that!
Ok...I just bought their 20v brushless drill and impact driver and I'm thoroughly happy with my purchase
Great to hear!
Bought one of these, and this video was the reason why. I've had it a while now, and it's an amazing product. I just got through using it this morning! I also have the Hart 14" chainsaw which uses the same battery. Very good products! Thanks for this video which helped me choose the Hart tools.
How was the battery life?
I’m just perplexed at how people can let the property get so rundown and then you rescue them
I have learned not to judge. This is a dual military family dealing with active deployments.
@@CopperCreekCuts bless them!
I can confirm that this really works. I bought one a couple days ago and used it today on some thick medium height grass and its really powerful.
Glad it is working well for you, too!
very satisfying to watch. I watched it twice .
I appreciate the views and the comment, thank you!
Hey you're right, that was oddly satisfying.
Haha, I appreciate the confirmation!
4:53 hope they did not forget an alive animal there :B
Haha, same here!
I have been looking out for a deal on this trimmer for over a year. Walmart finally dripped the price 20 bucks, so I bought one. I really like it! Plenty of power and the speed control is good. I like to spin it slower to reduce the stuff flying into my legs, but it goes plenty fast on full tilt. One unexpected thing I really like is that it works with my Ryobi edger attachment and works way better than the Ryobi Gas motor. The reason is the clutch boggs down the edger on the gas setup, but electric is power for days and no clutch getting in the way. It edges so much better!
Literally went to Wal-Mart today and had seen this brand and thought "cheap" but now I see that its not as cheap as Chicago Electric so that's a plus. Besides that, its so cool to be able to see a worthy brand not over shooting on price.
Agreed! Just as a caveat I will say this HART's top of the line trimmer, though, so don't expect this performance out of their cheapest 20V! I am sure it is good for weekly maintenance, but I wouldn't put it through this stuff :D
I mean the highest price for one these 20v I saw at Wal-Mart was like 150 or something like that. I will be headed back up there tonight to grab some drinks and ill stop by lawn and garden and also the tool isle. They have tools ranging from tool boxes all the way up to cordless impacts. If possible could I get the model number off the model you used in this video to see if they have this exact one.
I bought mine at a pawn shop nearly new for $99 I love it!!!
I am going to take a nap after watching this satisfying video.
Hi Brad, excellent video as usual
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes sir. Was already sold on the idea of that particular weed eater. Going for the combo kit. Only wish they had a riding lawnmower as well. Knees n back isn't what they used to be.
Very glad to hear this helped out!
You have sold me i wanted to try them but now I've decided to buy one asap thanks so much keep them coming i injoy the videos thanks alot
I am glad you like it that much! Keep in mind there are two different 15" 40 volt attachment string trimmers, this is the BRUSHLESS model. Don't want you getting the wrong one!
No i appreciate that thanks alot
I would like to do a blower trimmer combo
Good job great work all the best from London England
Thank you kindly!
I got the 80 volt Kobalt because you can change out the bottom for other attachments that I had from prior gas trimmers. The thing is a beast and you never have to deal with starting issues. If there was one issue is that you might have to carry a spare battery or 2 if you are going a long distance away, but it usually works out for me when the battery dies (30 mins of working it) because I get to cool down and then just get another battery. They also charge up super fast.
Very nice, thanks for the feedback!
I am a big fan of the kobalt 80 volt brushless string trimmer mainly because of its power and the fact that it has a spot for a shoulder strap.
Good feedback, thank you!
That's VERY impressive
Agreed!
Good call really interested in the power. Having to upgrade from a 20v and was concerned about power vs gas. So gratifying; looks amazing.
I run the husqvarna battery trimmer and I love it, the standard battery gets me 4 rounds of trimming on a 1/2 acre property. The extended life batteries almost cost more than the bare tool. I'm sticking with the standard batteries it comes with.
Excellent feedback, thanks for sharing!
Amazing transformation
I keep my backyard trimmed and neat all the time
Another great job!!
Thank you!
I just started looking into these hart tools, they seem like they’re no joke. From all the videos I’ve seen im actually impressed
The power of gas and convenience of battery. Win, Win!
Agreed! Excited to see how it holds up.
Great job my friend
Thanks for the visit!
i was NOT expecting to see a kennel! lol
Another A+ job.
Thank you so much!
That battery trimmer looks like a very useful tool , I’m impressed , great video .
Thank you, much appreciated!
The after looks great I like the electric weed wacker all so
Thanks!
Hey brad that electric weed eater tore that
grass up lol 😂
You've got that right! :D
what kind of weed eater is that? i need it, my current one is broken
@@santiagovictor2004 hart 40v
Geat video. I purchase this trimmer after I saw your video and it's working great. Just like in your video it is very powerful and easier to start and use than my Gas Poulan Trimmer.
The Paul Bunyon of Ween Whacking!
LOL with Babe the big blue and white string trimmer?
I got to say great little machine!!
I think so too! Still need to test more, but like what I see so far.
Great job but not surprised because its brand new. I'll be impressed if its still doing that good a job 6 months from now with daily use. Long term always tells the story
Great point!
I just bought a husqvarna 115iL a couple of days ago. It's a nice machine. For moderate to large areas you need at least 2 batteries and a fast charger to be able to finish the job though. Batteries are still expensive, so it becomes a rather big investment.
Good to know! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for actually cutting some real weeds with it. Some people only cut little tiny 1inch grass clippings and that doesn't prove anything. Their reviews are pointless besides wasting people's times. Thanks you for doing a real review
What an awesome video.
Glad you liked it! Thank you for commenting! :D
That was pretty impressive!
Agreed, thank you for watching!
I am very impressed! I've had an echo gas trimmer that's about 12 years old that is still going strong. But after that dies, I may buy one of these. I hope they make one that can take different attachments such as an edger!
The one in the video does take attachments! :)
Copper Creek Cuts Lawn Care thanks for the info! Thanks for always posting great content.
Man, you are fast!
I wish that fast in real life!
I would naturally think power wouldn't be an issue. Electric motors in any other application are known for high torque numbers.
For my own use, my string trimmer can last at least three weeks on one charge. Same with my mower's battery. I wasn't brave enough to try them a fourth week on that one charge.
Thanks for the feedback. If you ever feel lucky let me know how that 4th week turns out! :D
Impressed me for sure
Glad to hear, I hope it keeps on impressing us both!
Nice. Very satisfying!
Thanks! 😊
Advice: Time the time it takes you to do the job so folks like me can get a grasp of difficulty (or not)
Good tip!
WOW WHAT A GREAT JOB
Fantastic job
Thank you for the kind words!
Nice I wish I would of got the 40v string trimmer instead of the 20v trimmer and blower, they got me with the 2 batteries in the 20v package but at least I have more 20v batteries for my hart drills and saw
If you do the lawn every week you should be fine with the 20 volt (I am just guessing, though!) :D
This guy is almost as fast as when I pull in the driveway and my kids start to do their chores.
Ive heard about hart and honestly im impressed by the performance of the string trimmer. Considering the video is sped up, how long did it take to do the yard and do you know how much battery power you had left after completing it?
I think this was close to 20 minutes real time on high speed (which I will have a real time version release later), I started with 4/4 bars and ended with 1/4 bars. But it never died. So I could have been seconds away from emptying the battery or it still could have had up to 25% left!
Always learn from your videos.🌟🌟🌟🙂
I appreciate that!
Previously i would have never went electric but after using a few electric tools i was blown away i had tried some a few years back before there was even a market but now you get great power for the money
I have the 40 volt brushless Ryobi string trimmer and i'm curious as to how it compares with the Hart. I can take down anything with my Ryobi and I get well over an hour of run time with it. Great video showing the capability of this thing!
TTI makes them both, if I am not mistaken, so they are probably very comparable.
I thought you were going to find a cargo plane in there.
LOL!
I thoroughly enjoyed that
I am glad to hear it, thanks for watching!
If it were my house I would’ve pulled those grass out of the grown. Love your video’s ❤️
Good result
Thanks for wtaching!
Great job!
Thanks!

Bought the Greenworks 60V brushless string trimmer and hedge trimmer a few weeks ago. Very impressed with both. I have to admit that I haven’t used my Shindaiwa trimmer since, I think it’s lonely. Haven’t found anything on our two acres that either one can’t handle. Same with my Milwaukee brushless stuff.
Very nice feedback, thanks for sharing!
I got a 80v from Greenworks and it's an absolute monster.
Very nice!
@@CopperCreekCuts It's nice for me but I doubt it's practical for a professional using it on 20+ yards every day. You'd need quite a few batteries and chargers.
Nice job and video you always do excellent work
Thanks for the visit, much appreciated!
Was looking for a string trimmer, considered a cheap bauer for less money. After watching this I'm sold just bought one. 😁🤘. Wife doesn't know yet 🙄😬
I get from all the comments that all brands have a comparable quality
I bought the Hyper Tough trimmer at walmart last night since it was on rollback and man that thing could go. Suprisingly the battery we got was fully charged. I never heard of a company shipping out fully charged batteries.
