I purchased both the medium ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxfh2XUOHWYHKQYOvSq2gZ6PyCmVkTFGWz and small speed bags from Meister. I'm very glad I got both as the workout is quite different from the two. The small is fantastic for getting your speed built up once familiar with your striking. The medium bag provides a considerable amount more resistance building more strength in your punches. I highly recommend both sizes. Some people have expressed concern over the latex bladder leaking down more frequently than the traditional rubber. I have not found this to be an issue at all.

2:19 Heavy bags are great with the right understanding. At first I would miss a hook on the bag and almost spin around. Shadow Boxing not only gives you better balance and form, it also teaches you how to miss strikes and not lose balance. Same with these other training tools, you benefit from then all together

Really digging this video, If I see other double-end bag workouts I notice they have it way more tight, so it bounces way less. I love to have it bounce a lot, makes my head movement solid and trains the footmovement as well. I think this is one of the best tools for boxing compared to a pretty static heavy bag. Sometimes I am just constantly training my slipping with this double-end. great tool, great video.

Nicely made video. the double end bag has been my favorite type solo training for the past few years and am always looking for new ideas for training on it.
My latest thing is hitting it while moving in circles around the bag using specific combos (striking on the move) so I really have to time my steps and strikes perfectly.
I'm not much of a higher kicker but I like to kick the rope like a leg kick.

Mix it up with other things harder. Thanks for the info, I love that stile of training. People are just not that predictable, so reflexes are at high demand. Great training tool. People just do not react like the ball, you will have strikes that are and are not effective. Reflex and timing are for the moment, now only!!! So practice against something more unpredictable and stern then learn to be peaceful.

    • @Super51159

Hey Shane! I've been folowing you since 2014, and just want to say thanks for the Tips! I've been drilling some techniques you taught us for at least a year and a half ( i have had no base in martial arts) I would train outdoors with no equipment. Thanks to many tips u give, I managed to build good technique ( shadow boxing every day).
In Early 2015 me my bro started sparring with no equipment, just mouthpiece and palm-strikes, and we managed to get better.
January 2016 we went to an MMA gym and challenged few people there. I got my ass kicked, but they were impressed how fast and how technical I was for someone who never went to a Martial Arts Gym.
Now I am Confident in my skills, and maybe someday become a fighter.
All this to thank you brother for what you do and to let you know that you are an actual sensei to some people who didnt have the chance to get in a gym, with no equipment!
    Cheers! :)

We have a lot planned. fightTIPS gear, new video series, and we are having a huge party in Los Angeles with pro fighters and vendors (open to the public - stay tuned for details). It's going to be huge.

Love ur clips! Floor to ceiling is my favourite, I’m a boxer and most of my workout on my own is floor to
    Ceiling and then speedball.

Really good video. You think outside the box. That is probably the best thing you’re teaching.

Great points! You can work on so much ... not to mention the footwork if you have the space around the bag.

Shane, I was always considering to actually go to your website and buy the video package
But after this video, it finally pushed me over the line and go for it. Your videos are great.
As a way to support you, I'm going to go buy that video subscription package on your website.
    Keep up the great work.

Awesome vid, I've got one of these with my set up at home and have just started to get interested in using this instead of always focusing on the bag or speedball but I felt limited in what I could do. Thanks!

Wow! I saw this for the second time today and I love this video! I'll probably watch it like a dozen times! You make it look so easy, and you really make me want to do this now. Unfortunately, only person I know who has this is a friend at PA and I'm in NY. Still, love this video!!
