- Recent trip to Vanuatu, doing some spearfishing from Efate Island. Hampered by strong winds we still encountered lots of fish including, Dogtooth Tuna, Wahoo, Jobfish, Coral Trout, Buffalo Emporer and more!

Loved it thanks for sharing
Always appreciate your quality videos they are informative diverse and an example of quality diving. I love your appreciation for all the reef dwelling species it's fascinating to see what you pick out. Could you in future videos show more detail to your catch out of the water and even some fileting of them as well would be awesome. Great work
For sure, appreciate the support!
@@WettieNZbro fellow spearo here, try cutting-out all dairy three days before dive time..should help your mucus situation immensely(assuming you consume dairy) cheers 🤙🏽
👏👏👍👍
Great vids. Thx. We’ve been having a very windy year here in Thailand and our viz seems way below standards on average. To me there’s like 2 different spearfishing worlds: 1) one where you can see the bottom when you go down 2) one where you can’t see the bottom at all. Maybe an idea for a vid one day because I been having trouble in this murky water. I find my down times are way shorter I believe because I tend to stay more nervous going down because I can’t see anything until 3 meters from the bottom. Anyway great vids thanks so much
We have a video on dealing with fear/being nervous when diving. Mainly in relation to not seeing the bottom.

Great video, as always! I will need to get one of those drop flashers for my Fiji trip in October...
They work a treat!
Great video pls do us a favor & show us how to make one of those throw flashers as that one looked different???? Not just cut @ 90° both ends or am I seeing it wrong??? Thx Grant South Africa
Two different types, straight cut and angle cut either end. Also had yellow reflective and silver reflective.
I've noticed you seem to prefer a single band standard style gun, and not a roller or double band.
Is this for simplicity? Less complications?
Yes pretty much along with more narrow profile, better manoeuvrability, faster reload, low recoil.
The old man not coming out any more?
what's the gun setup that you are using?
Mostly use the Wettie Viper Pro Carbon with single 16.5mm rubber, 7mm shaft, Wettie 50m Reel.
