Wettie TV - Winter Coastal SPEARFISHING, TIPS and IDEAS

Winter time is a great opportunity to get a lot of shore diving in. On the east coast you tend to get a lot of offshore winds and plenty of fish moving in shallow to feed in the calm water. We have had some great dives on the coast in the last couple of weeks and there are tips and ideas throughout that may assist in finding more success while shore diving.

Very nice video , loved it , lots of pointers regarding tides, moon phase , locations etc , might not seem like much but definitely can make a better spearo better with knowledge for sure , some things newbies would over look probably , great content, awesome . 👍

Great educational content thanks! What's up with the band around the flopper? Is it just a rubber band that gets pushed off when it goes through a fish...?

Those are flopper rings. Keeps shaft streamline and helps with accuracy when shooting. They slide off with water pressure when fired. They are nice to use.

@@WettieNZ awesome! Makes sense. I get my flopper caught up on weed all the time. Damaged it pulling too hard recently 😬. I love all the wettie gear, will look out for the bands thanks.

You should never pull a fish off a loaded shaft like that , do it before you pull the bands . Scetchy
