Those drone shots mate really showed the magnificence & vastness of the place superb..Great to see that climb through you're perspective a brutal one for sure..let's get back in better conditions we've got to get those summits bagged..tfs mate..
Cheers mate shame you couldn’t get the drone working. Mind it is vast and kind of intimidating really that shot up the valley from the drone showed how small the tents were in comparison. Definitely need to head back though and I’d love to see it in late summer if you’re up for it? Plus like you say we need to bag those summits 🙌🏼. Thanks for watching mate and hopefully catch you soon
Cheers Paul was a cracking few days but very hard to film in those conditions. Definitely be back up in summer though 👌🏼. Thanks for watching mate, ATB Steve
Nice one mate, loving the drone, music cracking too. Looked a brutal trek up that like, shame it didn’t go to plan but the best decision made, safety first. You can’t beat a bit of Scotland, that hidden valley looks superb. Catch up soon matey, Atb Milesy 👍
Cheers mate was a belter and yeah we were gutted especially after that climb but like you say safety has to come first. Was a a bit disappointed at first when we dropped down but then the next day I was so glad we did. Let’s get something sorted and get out, hope you’re good, ATB Steve
Spot on that mate. Drone footage looked great. Captures the scale of the place. I said on ABs vid, looked bloody tough going in places. Fair play to you both for tackling it and some good decisions made in the end 👍🏼👍🏼
Cheers Craig it was huge sone angles make it look smaller but then like you say the drone shot gives you the true scale of the place. Was brutal mate and even AB was feeling the strain on his legs and that says something as the man’s not human 😂. Great experience though and has just gave me a thirst for more up there 🙌🏼. Thanks for watching hope to see you out soon pal. ATB Steve
Enjoyed every minute Steve, thanks so much for sharing this adventure. What a magical place the Lost Valley is, that sure looked a tough ascent on the second day, glad you made it down to a safer pitch. Another one you won't forget!👍👍
Thanks Anthony was a difficult place to shoot any footage and even harder after putting that shift in lol. Beautiful place though and certainly want to see it in summer on a clear day. Thanks for watching and hope you’re keeping well mate , ATB Steve
Beautifully put together that mate what an adventure! Love it up there and you're right hard graft kicking steps !!!. It can be an unforgiving place as we all know . Brilliant video mate ATB Simon
Cheers mate and totally it’s a challenging place and fitness wise I was on my limits here after a few months of doing very little, I’ll be more physically prepared on the next visit and hopefully the skies are blue and the clouds are non existent lol. Thanks for watching Simon hope you’re well. Steve
Cracking spot. I’m yet to visit that valley like. That needs to change. Great drerne footage again. I’ve got one now. See if I can smash it. 😂 good call coming back down though. It’s sadly just been proven to be a bit deadly up there. Great vid mate. 👍
Cheers Andy stunning area I can’t take credit as I just pointed the drone and that’s what it seen. Defo worth a visit mate. Nice one which one have you bought? I’m loving the drerne mind 😂. Yeah still hard to believe that we were quite near to him at the time, so sad. Thanks again, Steve
Thanks mate it’s superb tbh it’s on another level compared to the lakes and Ben the southern uplands are lush. Defo worth a visit up in the lost valley though 🙌🏼
Great video mate in tough conditions. The Lost Valley is one of my favourite areas in Glencoe . Wise decision to head down with the change in weather forecast . Safety first always. Great drone footage . All the best pal 👍
Cheers Steve appreciate it and I can understand why it’s an awesome place. Yeah was gutted when I got signal at the top and checked the updated forecast, but it will be there to conquer another time. Thanks for watching mate, ATB Steve
Cheers pal it’s an amazing place be awesome in summer of the midges don’t turn up 😂. Definitely heading back though that’s for sure. Hope your good mate. ATB Steve
This could be my favourite video of yours… multidimensional, beauty, good info, decision making etc all there and really helpful - I could go on! Nice one Steve
Cheers mate appreciate that as it was a tough place and conditions to capture footage, Andy done a better job than me as I was hanging out my hoop 😂. Thanks again though Simon 👌🏼
That drone adds another dimension especially with the awesome surroundings. Unbelievable effort to get up and…….back down again in one go in quite challenging conditions. Bet the bath and cuppa when you got home were the best ever. Keep the videos coming mate 👍🏼👍🏼
That was a great video Steve one of your best pity you's didn't get to camp up top but safety first mate well done on getting to the top that looked painful atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
Yeah mate the conditions were just too much to take a punt on and none of us have anything to prove so I think the decision to drop down was the correct one, it was lent as good a pitch but we got down safe and sound. Legs have just recovered Jimmy 😂, appreciate it mate 🙌🏼, got your new one to watch tonight. Hope you’re well ATB Steve
Gripping stuff Steve , a different beast up on that summit in those heights . Safest option dropping back down to find a pitch . Camera never does it full justice but you still got some great footage of the trip. TFS atb Dave
Cheers Dave you’re not wrong and as much as we were a bit disappointed to drop back down it just simply wasn’t worth the risk. Still loved every minute just didn’t record much when the weather turned and we were hunting out a suitable second night pitch lol. Thanks for watching mate and hope all is well. Steve
Where do I start mate... the scenery talks for it self but the drone footage was stunning. It’s like going back in time up there... what a wild wild place but glad you got back down okay the right decision (with what’s happened last week really hits home) and pushed through the pain to get back down. Still a beautiful pitch. Wow just wow Steve love it ATB Dan
Cheers mate it was amazing and there’s so many places to explore around there infact I’m just noticing new things when I see that drone footage from the comfort of my home and if I went back I’d be having a look around. It’s like something off tomb raider 😍. Yeah coming back down was the last thing we wanted to do but we weren’t prepared to take any unnecessary risks. Very sad when we found out the news of Kyle and bane 😢. A harsh reminder how dangerous these places can be. Thanks for watching Dan. Take care, Steve
Cheers Gary mate 👌🏼 sure was a tough slog but looking back at hat an experience though and I’ll definitely be back. As always much appreciated pal hope you’re good, Steve
Cheers matey yeah most of it was shot on iPhone it’s just easier and more convenient but I really need to utilise this s5 more than I do. I’m going to start as I lighten my kit and over the summer hopefully use it more over the spring/summer. Mate we put a shift in that weekend for Andy to even ache tells you all you need to know 😂. Nerve racking climb too especially weighed down and suffering fatigue. Still a great experience though and I’ll defo be returning 🙌🏼. Mate we need to sort a trip out though if you ping dates over. Hope you’re well Steve
I hope you had crampons and ice axe, heading up that steep summit.saw Bushman and Blue camping where you were.and he seen a bloke falling 2-3 hundred feet just doing cartwheels until he stopped, apparently he wasn’t that badly injured.👍
Yes had both and followed steps that had previously been kicked in so all was safe. I wouldn’t head into the winter hills without them especially up such high steep climbs. 👍🏼
Cheers mate yeah it’s a stunning place and one of my pals tried it not along ago and had to bail to escape the midges lol. Absolute nightmares those things. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
