This is the most frustrating thing about going through cancer and having bad legs, I pass that place alot but just can't get out and go for a walk due to the damage chemotherapy has done to me ☹ but with videos like this it makes me feel like I've seen it all, thank you both so much 👍
You have my sympathies chum, I have been walking the Scotttish hills for over fifty years and cycling and driving for almost as long. Comes as a real blow, when you can't do things you always took for granted. I used to think nothing of ten or fifteen miles, now half a mile to the shops and back without going on my backside is an acheivement Steve's video's bring back a lot of memories. I actualy remember Tyndrum before the Green Welly Shop when we used to stop there fifty years ago in Landrovers and an old British Army Jeep. At that time there was a real character in the area called Gus who lived in nearby Glenorchy were we used to camp. Cop in Appin told us he was the best poacher in the West Highlands no one could ever catch him. The lost valley appears to not have changed in thirty five years since I was last there. Thanks for the views Steve, and love your partner,Real Polish Lady.
Sympathies from a fellow sufferer, soon to have surgery. One good thing, frustrating as it may be that you can no longer fully enjoy it, you have a beautiful part of the world to experience. All the Best with your treatment.
I am in the all clear and have been for a few years but the whole cancer/chemotherapy has ruined me so much I can barely walk 100 metres without being in severe pain, kayak fishing Loch etive is my passion now as I can sit down with my legs flat and that means everything in my situation 🙂
I've only been once to Scotland, and I was blown away by its natural beauty, seeing some of these shots, it really is a lovely place. Wales on steroids, incredible
Beautiful hike !!! Alicja amazing, you are so fortunate to have a companion that will go on all your adventures with you no matter how difficult they are! My wife and I used to do that, but poor health has sidelined her, great memories though. Really enjoyed the hike!!! Lord Stephen Marsh, has a good ring to it!
If anyone deserves the titles of Lord and Lady it’s you too. You make me smile with the things you get up to and the sincere enjoyment you exhibit in all your videos. Keep ‘em coming and thanks again.
Lord Steve, thank you so much for taking us all on another adventure to places beyond where most of us can't or won't ever be able to see.A stunning part of beautiful Glencoe. Also a belated birthday wish and what a smashing present from her ladyship. As always Steve and Alijcia take care and stay safe.
The early morning sunlight @ 15:20 highlights the sharp mountain structure and brings them into stark relief in a beautiful manner. Such stunning scenery you've taken us into again. Thanks for bringing us along on your overnight jaunt and happy birthday Laird Steve Marsh. Stay safe you two.
First off, belated happy birthday, Lord Stephen! Secondly, that scene at 1:49 when we first see the valley with Buachaille Etive Mòr in all is grandeur never fails to give my heart a lift. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. What fun! Cheers and ATB to you both!
Some years ago me and the missus were driving up Glencoe and me missus saw a sign pointing to the Hidden Valley. She said it cant be hidden very well if it signposted!!!
Thank you for taking me along on a hike that Ii couldn't do myself. I've driven through Glencoe and found it a bit depressing but maybe that was the weather! So thanks Steve, sorry, My Lord!
Both me and my wife have these titles. I am Laird Colin of Glencoe and my late wife was Lady Susan of Glencoe. I bought hers for Valentines day several years ago and I also had a tree planted for her. I'm hoping to get to the Highlands at the end of September in my microcamoer van so might get the chance to visit our plots. Great channel by the way keep it up.
Thank you for a wonderful video! I have driven through Glencoe so often and would still love to try and walk to the Hidden Valley. Congratulations on your Lordship! I'm glad you both had such beautiful weather and I loved the music you used in the video!
I really enjoyed this one. Y'all are very lucky to have each other. The Hidden Valley is on my bucket list, but I want to camp overnight there on a February 12th night into the morning of the 13th. To be awake for 5 am on the 13th, the anniversary of the betrayal and massacre of the MacDonald's of Glencoe. To say prayers for the murdered and those who perished in the snow, that they find peace at last. (Remember, several are buried there in unmarked graves.) They deserve peace. I know how this will sound M'Lord, but I sincerely wish that the spirits of Dalrymple, Glenlyon, Duncanson and Hamilton be condemed to wandering there for all eternity; knowing no peace whatsoever. Thank both y'all so much for taking this trip, and for sharing it with us. I remain, your Lordship's most humble and obedient servant.
True, they do deserve peace! I've a clan friend who assures me that they are not at peace and he will not return to the Valley on those days, or that week for that matter. He also told me once that the enmity between the two clans still abides to this day so they cannot be seated in the same venue like the Annual Clan Gathering at Edinburgh Castle. The gathering must be split into separate nights because of the continuing feud, well, this one among others too. The Scots are mighty warriors and champions at carrying a grudge when deserved! In this case, I cannot blame them.
Aaaawwweeeeee. That was lovely! Happy birthday Lord Steve (what a beautiful gift) I think that was my absolute favourite site yet! My Scottish girlfriend has a horror childhood story there that features the midges, so I was wondering how that was going to play out! Hope that you aren’t still scratching! Thankyou both once again. It’s been a perfect finish to a Saturday night Australian time! See you next year…preferably without the bugs 🐜
@@steve-marsh ha ha ha. She would love that! Apparently Dad took the family out there and abandoned the idea in the middle of the night....swore that they would never do that again 😳
The best vid yet Your Lordship, if only all the royalty were so down to earth. Great how the pair of you "bounce" of each other. Keep up the good work.
That is a trek to write home about. Exactly the right length, perfectly beautiful, and a great place to rest at the end. A piece of wild paradise. Wow, just wow.
This is so special to me because I am a McDonald from Glen Urquhart. I visited Glencoe by bus in 01/1957 and bus driver told the story of Glencoe massacre and at the end of story he said if there are any Campbells on board I’m not apologizing and that was so many years before! Barnie
Hi Lord Stephen, belated birthday wishes to you, what a fantastic present. What a brilliant stream of one of the best areas in Scotland one of my favourites. The scenery is spectacular and your photography is second to none. As always love to see you both out together. Absolutely fantastic stream. Safe travels
Happy Birthday your lordship! what a lovely walk up into the mountains, and some gorgeous scenery - and such a sight to wake up to. I'm far more about the creature comforts in person, but can very appreciate you bringing us this outing to watch.
That is tremendous! We are both Lords of our small patch in Scotland. My wife got one for me and presented it on our anniversary get away in June of this year. I had no idea. Thank you both for sharing your time in such a beautiful country. Cheers.

Amazing vlog as always from my favourite UA-camrs. Scotland is beautiful, I have a week off in October, must do this walk. Thanks again for sharing your amazing trips.
A lot less tourists and midges as the temperature drops, not been up there in a good few years, all the camper vans etc just started to get to me, no likey! Thanks again fella.
Thank you, Lord and Lady Marsh. I can't go hiking for a while yet as I had an operation to correct a very flat foot in April. Maybe next year. My heartfelt condolences to the commentators who are recovering from or still undergoing chemotherapy.
Hi Steve, another little gem from you guys once more & plus the beautiful piece of music 'Amidst The Stars' by Christoffer Moe Ditlevsen to end what more can I say? just perfect!
Belated happy birthday, Your Lordship! Another fantastic video and Alicja, your surprises (especially your custom designed graphics) were epic!! Keep Stephen's feet on the ground, in Glencoe and beyond. We don't want all this heraldry going to his head and him forgetting the little people out here on UA-cam. ;)
Happy Birthday LORD Steve. May you gave many more 😇 Alicja, well done, you are full of wonderful surprises 👍 This was a wonderful tour encompassing sights sounds etc. Kudos to you all 👍👌
My wife and I visited the Three Sisters 26 years ago. This July the Danes will be back, touring the Highlands with our two kids, 20 and 23 years. Can't wait! :)
Well........ Lord Steve that was a real piece of Scotland with the obligatory midge's. Amazing place to visit deep in a glen with that "in the middle of nowhere" feel to it. Good to see you're now a land owner in Glencoe, you'd better visit a few time a year in case of squatters!!!!! Wonder if there's gold in then there hills??? Happy belated birthday.
Absolutely, the midges were there fifty years ago too. Once saw a whole R A F mountain rescue team beat it to the local pub because of them. It is not recorded what happened to the poor saps they were supposedly looking for, coud'nt have been important, probably an excercise.
Absolutely stunning scenery and how spooky, we travelled through Glencoe only yesterday after a fab weeks holiday in amazing weather in Fort Augustus. I thought Alicja's birthday presents for you were just so special and unique, Lord Marsh 😄 and her own design of that fabulous Scottish Coat of Arms specifically for you was just.... as they say in Glasow "pure dead brilliant ". What a fantastic gift and lovely you shared that special moment with us. Thank you 😊 x
Happy belated birthday Lord Stephen....what an honour and to think you were in Newfoundland before all this was bestowed upon you....imagine if you visit now!!! Seriously, it was a great video...what a gorgeous area & magnificent scenery....love all the mountains & pathways....sorry your overnight wasn't the best but you guys always make the best of everything!! Cheers!
My Lord!! Great video Steve, I've passed that valley so many times and I'll be passing it again on Monday on my way to Arisaig for a few days house hunting. May I suggest AVON skin so soft as a midge solution. It's used by many in the armed forces and is very effective. It's available on Amazon, no midges and great skin!! It's a win win!!😁
Aye, I wore the heck out of it during Desert Shield and Desert Storm instead of all of the Off! and other compounds we had pouring in to use. It works well and smells fresh without clogging the nose. ~~ Great call!
You should have triple the subscribers at least! Your walks and trips are so entertaining and beautiful and this one made me think how much more hearty the Scots are to climb those rocks and call them a 'path' than us over the pond. What a grand way to end the video, Lord of Glencoe!
And I must beg your Lordship's pardon inasmuch as I have been remiss in not wishing y'all a belated Happy Birthday! So . . . Happy Birthday M'Lord, may y'all have many more in peace, good health and love.
Have been watching for a while now from Australia, but i loved this one. Unable to hike due to bad knee but enjoy living vicariously through you eyes. Bloody Fantastic
Love this! We visited Glencoe the same week (a day trip) and walked some of this out of curiosity to see what the path was like. It has been on my visit list for many years. Hoping when I'm a bit fitter I can go back on a cooler day. Thanks for sharing the walk 😀
My Lord Steve this was a very great video on parts of Scotland I will never see other than from the UA-cam channel. Keep these video's coming as I and a lot of others enjoy your travels.
Scottish midges are savage beasts. I've never sworn so much in my life as I have packing up the tent ,in a cloud of midges. That aside ,brilliant footage.
Welcome to the club my Lord Steve with the most cordial of greetings and birthday wishes from from Lord Simon, like you I was given a parcel of land about five years ago and it is something I am very proud to own, thank you for a beautiful video and I wish you and Lady Alicja good health and happiness, cheers and stay safe.

Incredible scenery and a great video, my lord......お誕生日おめでとう! Happy Birthday.....What a stunning present! Thank you both.
Wasn't it just! She's a wee star :)
Great video and to see the Glen in such beautiful weather is a bonus.Thank you.
Cheers Cherry!
She's Awesome! What a great surprise! And a Sobeys Bag from right here in good old Nova Scotia!

Nice one! Aye, much more fun on a cooler autumn day when the midges have upped sticks!
Great video as usual Lord Steven and here's me thinking that I was the only one who puts that much pepper on my soup.
Haha cannae beat it :)
My Lord Steve this was a very great video on parts of Scotland I will never see other than from the UA-cam channel.
Keep these video's coming as I and a lot of others enjoy your travels.
Thanks so much Wayne!
Thanks for shareing this great gem you have inspired me to go here. Thankyou.
Scottish midges are savage beasts.
I've never sworn so much in my life as I have packing up the tent ,in a cloud of midges.
That aside ,brilliant footage.
Haha yes, we felt the same pain! Cheers Noel!
Stunning video my Lord. Glencoe reminds me of our trip to the Grand Tetons
Oh I love the Tetons! Stunning!
Oh the legendary Green Welly Stop! Their full Scottish breakfast is second to none! 😋
Few people are able to narrate their internal narative but SM is one 😊.
Happy Birthday Lord Steve of Glencoe, another great video as usual.....All the best.
